Objective To report the presentation,clinical course and prognosis of intracranial hypertension (IH) with essential thrombocythemia (ET).Methods Retrospective data analysis was conducted.Seven cases of IH with ET were reviewed between January 2010 and December 2016.The clinical features,and the relationship between IH and ET were analyzed.Results IH complicated with ET was more common among young and middle-aged women.Sub acute or chronic course was more common.IH was easily misdiagnosed as optic neuritis in the early stage.The median platelet count of seven patients was 559 × 109/L.Paroxysmal black haze (four cases) was the most common of the first symptom.The head MRI showed empty sella in six cases.CT venography/DSA showed venous sinus thrombosis in three cases.All the patients were given intracranial pressure lowering and other symptomatic treatment.Five cases were treated with anti ET.Results showed remission in six cases and death in one case.Conclusions In the early stage IH was often misdiagnosed.Female was more common than male in IH with ET.Dural sinus blockage was common.In addition to symptomatic treatment such as lowering intracranial pressure,the patients should also be treated with anti ET.

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical features of patients with primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) in China. MethodsThe reported articles about clinical analysis of patients with PBC in China were searched. The quality of included studies was critically evaluated. Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 4.2 software about controlled trials. Results① Ninety-one literatures including 2315 patients wuth PBC were included. ②The common symptoms in PBC were fatigue (54.54％). AMA was found in 74.1％～100％ of patients with PBC, as well as the prevalence rate of anti-M2 range from 45％ to 83％. ANA antibodies present in 20％～83.78％ of patients, the most common antinuclear patterns were nuclear-envelope(38.65％).Increased levels of IgM [(2.8±0.7)～(7.3±5.1) g/L], IgG [(16.5±4.9)～(20.5±5.9) g/L] were found in these patients, and the most common liver histologic classification was type Ⅱ (36.6％). Sjogren's syndrome occured significantly more frequently in PBC (1.96％～34.61％). To the end of follow-up period (five months to nintysix months ), 3.80％ of patients were dead. ③ Meta-analysis performed in several case control studies, showed no significant differences was found in liver tests including of alkaline phosphatase (ALP), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotrans ferase (AST), total bilirubin (TBil), or gamma-glutamyltransferase (GGT), IgG levels between AMA positive groups and AMA negative groups. However, lower levels of IgM presented in the latter. While it also showed that levels of ALP decreased after ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA)therapy. The levels of TBil were lower in the elderly than in younger group, but the mortality ratio for liver diseases was higher in the former. ConclusionThe clinical characteristics of the present series in China are mostly similar to those reported in other countries. Because of the low quality and the small number of included studies, larger sample-size, randomized, double-blinded controlled trials are needed.

Objective To establish a national antibacterial resistance surveillance network and explore the epidemiology of bacterial resistance in China. Methods The minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) was determined by National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards (NCCLS) standard agar double dilution method. The susceptibility and resistance rates of drugs were calculated according to the criteria in guidelines of NCCLS (2004). Results According to the previous protocol, a total of 4 075 pathogenic strains isolated from 17 hospitals located at 15 different cities from October 1, 2004 to September 30, 2005 in China were collected and the MICs were detected. Gram-negative bacilli were 3 150 strains ( 77.3%). Enterobacteriaceae Were highly susceptible to Carbapenems. In addition, Moxalactam, Piperacillin/Tazobactam, Cefoperazone/Sulbactam and Cefepime were also exhibited good antibacterial activities against Enterobacteriaceae,the resistance rates of them were less than 10 %. The resistance rates of nonfermentative Gramnegative bacilli, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumanii, to Imipenem were 10. 6 % and 10.4 % , respectively. Cefoperazone/Sulbactam, Piperacillin/Tazobactam and Fluoroquinolones also showed good activity against nonfermentative Gram-negative bacilli.Conclusions The drug resistance rates of Escherichia coli and Acinetobacter baumanii increase obviously. Fluoroquinolones and Aminoglycosides are not very effective against Enterobacteriaceae,which should be paid more attention.

In this study, the implementation methods for the several functions are explored on RayStation 4.0 Platform. Those functions are passing the information such as ROI names to a plan prescription Word file. passing the file to RayStation for plan evaluation; passing the evaluation result to form an evaluated report file. The result shows the RayStation scripts can exchange data with Word, as well as control the running of Word and the content of a Word file. Consequently, it's feasible for scripts to inactive with third party softwares upgrade the performance of RayStation itself.

Seventy patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM),23 subjects with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and 35 individuals with normal glucose tolerance (NGT) were recruited in the study.Fasting free fatty acids (fFFA) and postprandial free fatty acids (2 hFFA) after oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) were measured; homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR),area under the curve of free fatty acids (AUCFFA) were calculated.The carotid artery intima-media thickness (IMT) was assessed by color ultrasonography.HOMA-IR,fFFA,2 hFFA,AUCFFA and IMT in T2DM group were 3.3 ±3.2,(0.55 ± 0.20) mmol/L,(0.28 ±0.18)mmol/L,(0.83 ±0.34)mmol · L-1 · h-1 and (0.12±0.05) cm,which were significantly higher than those in NGT group,respectively [1.9 ± 1.3,(0.41 ±0.15) mmol/L,(0.12 ± 0.10) mmol/L,(0.53 ± 0.20) mmol · L-1 · h 1 and (0.09 ± 0.03) cm,all P ＜0.05].Both HOMA-IR and IMT were positively correlated with fFFA,2 hFFA and AUCFFA (all P ＜ 0.05).The results indicate that the levels of fasting and postprantial free fatty acid were related with insulin resistance and atherosclerosis of carotid artery.

Objective To explore the secretion of chemokine regulated upon activation normal T cell expressed and secreted(RANTES)influenced by the complex microenvironment in the peritoneal cavity of women with endometriosis and investigate chemotaxis of RANTES on the peritoneal monocytes.Methods The contact and non-contact co-culture systems including three target cells of ectopic tissue were established.The three target cells were endometrial stromal cells(ESC),human peritoneal mesothelial cells(HPMC)and monocytes.After collection of the supernatant of co-culture systems,the levels of RANTES were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(EUSA).Migration of U937 cell,a monocyte line,was detected by chemotaxis assay.Results ESC,HPMC,and U937 cultured alone secreted slight RANTES,(5.0±0.5),(4.0±0.3),and (254±40)ng/L. Compared with the culture of the target cell alone,the levels of RANTES in each co-culture system increased significantly,with the highest level in the contact culture system of E-H-U(2250±96)ng/L. RANTES secretion of non-contact co-culture of three cells were higher than contact co-culture of two cells(P＜0.01):U/E-H(912±93) vs E-H(50±40)ng/L,H/E-U(1201±93) vs E-U(243±192)ng/L,and E/H-U(1519±96) vs H-U(1251±73)ng/L. ESC,HPMC,and ESC-HPMC co-culture improved significantly migration of U937 cells [ number of cell migration respectively(6.0±0.3),(6.2±0.3),(10.0±0.3)×103,P＜0.01],which could be inhibited efficiently by anti-RANTES neutralizing antibody.Condusion The target cells in the peritoneal cavity of patients with endometriosis promote the secretion of RANTES in autocrine and paracrine manners and migration of monocytes.

To providing evidence about nitrogen adequate application of Platycodon grandiflorum, the pot culture experiment was conducted to study the effect of nitrogen on the growth, physiological metabolism and the quality of P. grandiflorum. The activity of NR, GS and SOD, POD and CAT were determined. And the nitrate and ammonium nitrogen content, photosynthetic characteristics, active components of P. grandiflorum were determined. The results showed that the nitrate nitrogen content and P. biomass reached its maximum value, when NH4(+)-N/NO3(-) -N was 0: 100, the activity of NR. The activity of GS was the highest at the NH4(+) -N/NO3(-) -N ratio of 25:75 and ammonium nitrogen content was the highest at 75:25. The activity of SOD decreased and then increased with the increasing of NO3(-) -N. At the NH4(+) -N/NO3(-) -N ratio of 25: 75, the activity of CAT had its maximum value and the content of MDA had the minimum value. At the same time, the content of platycodon D was the highest at this treatment. The studies had shown that different nitrogen forms and ratio had a significant effect on the characteristics of photosynthetic physiology, nitrogen metabolism and resistance adjustment, growth and the quality of P. grandiflorum. The NH4(+) -N/NO3(-) -N ratio of 25: 75 was a suitable ratio of nitrogen forms for the growth of P. Grandiflorum and accumulating the content of platycodon D.

A 24-week study was performed to compare the efficacies of before and after dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor sitagliptin phosphate 100 mg/d in 42 type 2 diabetics who were inadequately controlled with multiple oral antidiabetic drugs for at least 3 months.The treatment group sitagliptin phosphate fasting plasma glucose,2 h postprandial glucose (2 hPPG) and glycated hemoglobulin decreased significantly compared with before treatment [(9.3 ±1.2) to (6.5 ±1.9) mmol/L,(15.2 ±3.1) to (8.1 ±2.1)mmol/L,(8.2 ± 2.1) ％ to (6.7 ± 1.3) ％,all P ＜ 0.01].There was no hypoglycemia,weight gain or other adverse reactions.The short-term sitagliptin phosphate could effectively reduce the blood sugar levels of poorly controlled obese type 2 diabetics.With a low incidence of hypoglycemia and an excellent safety profilc,there was no weight gain.

Objective To investigate the characteristics of marital quality and social support status of the patients with breast cancer during the period of chemotherapy and the correlation of both factors.Methods Seventy-seven patients with breast cancer were divided into beginning-, middle-and final-staging groups of chemotherapy.And they were studied with Olson marital quality questionnaire and Social Support Rating Scale.Results The total scores of marital quality and other factors were the lowest in the mid-chemotherapy group.Among three groups,the mean of the objective support and availability were gradually increased with the chemotherapy going.The score of objective support was higher in the final than beginning chemotherapy groups (P =0.009).There was a positive correlation between marital satisfaction and the objective support (r =0.248, P =0.036), and between the total score of quality of marriage and subjective support (r =0.286, P = 0.015).Conclusion The marital quality of breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy is poor,and subjective or and objective support might improve the patient's marital quality.
