Objective To research the optimal test condition for determining TVOC in air based on GB 50325-2001 Code for Indoor Environmental Pollution Control of Civil Building Engineering. Methods Seven kinds of standard gas (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, p-dimethylbenzene, m-dimethylbenzene, ethenylbenzene and o-dimethylbenzene) were injected into Tenax-TA sampling tube, then heated for different time and pyrolyzed for different time. Results Tenax-TA sampling tube was heated for 30 seconds and pyrolyzed for 90 seconds. The recovery rate of seven kinds of compounds was more than 90%. Relative standard deviation was less than 10%. Conclusion The optimal test condition for determining TVOC in air has been presented in this paper. The precision and sample recovery rate will meet the requirement of indoor air quality standard annex A Indoor Air Monitoring Technology.
3.Influence of tranilast on expression of OPN and interstitial ED1+ macrophages infiltration in rats with chronic cyclosporine A nephrotoxicity
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(20):-
Objective To evaluate the effect of tranilast on chronic cyclosporin A(CsA)nephrotoxicity rats and the possible mechanisms of protective effect of it.Methods Rats were on low salt diet and CsA was administered by gastric gavage at a dose of 20 mg/(kg?d)for 28 days, and tranilast was gave to these rats in a dose of 400 mg/(kg?d).The renal function and renal morphology were observed at1,2 and 4 weeks after administration of tranilast. Results CsA induced the corruption of normal condition and weight lost were markedly delayed after administration of tranilast. On histopathology tranilast attenuated tubular cells vacuolations as well as interstitial damage including interstitial ED1+ macrophages infiltration and focal interstitial fibrosis.Meanwhile, tranilast down-regulated the protein of OPN in kidney. Conclusion Tranilast can attenuate the structural changes of kidney in chronic CsA nephrotoxicity rats.Decreased CsA-related ED1+ macrophages,OPN up-regulation expression in the kidney may be related to mechanisms of protective effect of tranilast in the treatment of CsA induced chronic nephrotoxicity.

Objective To test the validity of the stress-cognition vulnerability-model of depression in Chinese undergraduates. Methods 647 undergraduate students finished the Chinese version of 6 scales in time one.Cognitive Style Questionnaire(CSQ),Response Styles Questionnaire(RSQ-SF),Self-Esteem Questionnaire(SEQ),Dysfunctional Attitudes Scale(DAS),General Social and Academic Hassles Scale for Students(GSASHS),Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CES-DA)follow-up assessment in 1 month later, the General Social and Academic Hassles Scale for Students(GSASHS)scale and Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D)scale were completed. Then, vulnerability factors for depression symptoms were used to predict depression symptoms by Multiple Hierarchical Regression(MHR).Path analysis and structural equation model(SEM)were used to explore integrated vulnerability-stress model of depression in Chinese undergraduates. Results Vulnerability-stress interaction was entered into regression equation. The results showed that the vulnerability-stress interaction provided incremental predictive validity to depressive.Symptoms path analysis showed that negative cognition→rumination→depression was a important pathways to cause depression(β=-0.31,P<0.01).The structural equation model for integrated vulnerability-stress model of depression analysis indicated the fit index:GFI =0.95,CFI=0.94,IFI=0.94,RMSEA=0.085.Conclusion A cognition vulnerability-stress medels of depression in Chinese undergraduates was provided and to be confirmed. The rumination was a important mediated variable.

Objective To explore the feasibility of using portable γ spectrometer to rapidly identify the low activity of depleted uranium and the underlying conditions. Methods Firstly, high purity germanium (Ge) γ spectrometer was used to analyze energy spectrum of DU samples (5 g) and calculate nuclide percentage of 235U in an attempt to ascertain the properties of these DU samples. The portable γ spectrometer was used to provide the evidences for identification of DU samples.Secondly, portable γ spectrometer was also used to identify DU samples of same group. These samples contain 1 g DU powder and 0-5 g environmental clay powder, which were sealed with double layer pocket, and then detected with a distance of 1-5 cm during the longest detection time of 10 min.According to the detection of nuclide activity of 238U and 235U in the samples and the subsequent calculation of specific activity, the nuclide percentage composition was calculated and the existence of DU was confirmed if this value of 235U was less than 0.718%.Results The activity of 238U was detected using portable γ spectrometer under all test conditions, while the activity of 235U was detectable only under certain test conditions (MA ≥ 1 g,DN ≤ 1 cm).Under the condition that the 238U and 235U was both detected, the nuclide percentage of 235U was all less than 0.718%,which suggested that the DU was confirmed. Conclusions The energy spectrum of low activity of DU and the type of nuclide could rapidly be identified and evaluated by using portable γ spectrometer. This is same as the conclusions obtained with high purity Ge γ spectrometer,α spectrometer and ICP-MS.

Background Intermittent exotropia is a type of strabismus that between latent extropia and manifest extropia. The assessment of fusional convergence/divergence is important for understanding control ability of exodeviation in children with intermittent exotropia. Objective This study was to analyze the correlations between fusional convergence/divergence and control ability of exodeviation in children with intermittent exotropia. Methods Sixty-three children with intermittent exotropia were recruited in Beijing Tongren Eye Centre from July 2013 to February 2014 under the informed consent of children and their parents.Angle of deviation was measured by wearing prism and covering method alternately. The control ability of exodeviation was evaluated and scored by the Revised Newcastle Control Score (RNCS),and fusional convergence and divergence were measured with 1 Δ-40Δ horizonal prisms and regulating targets. The correlations between the measured parameters of fusional convergence/divergence and control scores of exotropia were analyzed by Spearman rank correlation analysis. Results The mean diopter of the right and left eyes was (-1.95 ± 1.63)D and (-2.01 ± 1.73)D,respectively,and the mean deviation angle for distantly and near was (36.67 ± 15.69) Δ and (38.25 ± 14.83) Δ,respectively, without significant differences between them (diopter:t =-0.13,P>0.05;deviation angle:t =-0.57,P>0.05).Considerably negative correlations were found between the breakpoints of fusional convergence for distant or near and control scores of exodeviation (rs =-0.41,P=0.03;rs =-0.56,P<0.01).No significant correlations were found between the breakpoints of fusional divergence for distantly or near and control scores of exodeviation (rs =0.05,P =0.78;rs =0.04,P <0.75).In addtion, there was no significant correlation between fusional recovery level and control scores (both at P > 0.05).Conclusions Breakpoints of fusional convergence may be useful in grading the severity of intermittent exotropia in children, and it is probably one of the surgical indications of intermittent exotropia.

Objective To explore the hemorheological changes in children with essential hyepertension, and explore their clinical significance. Methods The hemorheological parameters, blood lipid, blood glucose in 37 children with essential hyepertension [19 boys and 18 girls, median age(12.49?3.20) years] were measured and analyzed. The parameters in 30 healthy children were measured as controls.SPSS 11.5 software was used to analyze the data. Results The whole blood viscosity under high, middle and low shear rate, plasma viscosity, hematocrit, rigidity index of erythrocyte, platelet aggregation M were significantly higher in hypertension group than those in healthy control group(Pa0.05).Conclusions There have been developed significant hemorheological changs in children with essential hypertension. The hemorheological changes might play an important role in pathogenesis of childhood hypertension.
