Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(12):1070-1072
Since the symptoms and mechanism of poststroke aphasia are various and complicated, there are a great deal of problems which are difficult to resolve yet. At the aspect of aphasia research, Chinese and Western medicine have different emphases, Chinese medicine emphasizes particularly on therapy, Western medicine emphasizes on discussing mechanism of aphasia, all kinds of sorts and evaluation of aphasia and pertinence rehabilitation, and so on; modern research methods include neurolinguistics, neuropsychology, cognitive science, neurorehabilitation, neuroelectrophysiology, neuroimage and so on, all these means of aphasia research often involve in cross multi-subject, furthermore becoming powerful implement of recognizing brain mechanism.
3.Specific Deficit Regarding the Precessing of Noun and Verb in Stroke Aphasia: One Case Analysis
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(8):727-728
Noun and verb are always two primary lexical knowledge information in all kinds of languages. It plays an important role in the structure and function of the language. Cognitive activation and differential neural basis when aphasiacs distinguish from these two kinds of lexical knowledge information is the focus of subjects, such as neuropsychology, neurolinguistics and neuroimage. The specific deficit regarding the precessing of noun and verb was analyzed in the article with the data of this aphasiac.

OBJECTIVETo determine dopamine and its metabolites during in vivo cerebral microdialysis by routine high performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection.
METHODSMicrodialysis probes were placed into the right striatum of Wistar rat brains and perfused with Ringer's solution at a rate of 1.5 microL/min. A reverse phase HPLC with electrochemistry was used to assay DA, DOPAC, and HVA after cerebral microdialysates were collected every 20 minutes from awake and freely moving rats. In order to identify the reliability of this method, its selectivity, linear range, precision and accuracy were tested and the contents of DA, DOPAC, and HVA in rat microdialysates were determined.
RESULTSThe standard curve was in good linear at the concentration ranging from 74 nmol/L to 1.5 micromol/L for DOPAC (r2=0.9996), from 66 nmol/L to 1.3 micromol/L for DA (r2=1.0000) and from 69 nmol/L to 1.4 micromol/L for HVA (r2=0.9992). The recovery of DOPAC (0.30, 0.77, 1.49 micromol/L), DA (0.26, 0.69, 1.32 micromol/L), and HVA (0.27, 0.71, 1.37 micromol/L) was 82.00+/-1.70%, 104.00+/-4.00%, 98.70+/-3.10%; 92.30+/-1.50%, 105.30+/-2.30%, 108.00+/-2.00%; 80.00+/-7.80%, 107.69+/-8.00%, and 108.66+/-3.10%, respectively at each concentration. Their intra-day RSD was 3.3%, 3.4%, and 2.5%, and inter-day RSD was 4.2%, 2.3%, and 5.6%, respectively. The mean extracellular concentrations of DOPAC, DA, and HVA in rat brain microdialysates were 10.7, 2.4, and 9.2 micromol/L (n=6), respectively.
CONCLUSIONThe findings of our study suggested that the simple, accurate and stable method can be applied to basic researches of diseases related to monoamines neurotransmitters by cerebral microdialysis in rats.

5.Present situation and thinking of studies on apoplectic aphasia.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2006;26(10):749-752
There were different emphasis between Chinese medicine and Western medicine in the study of apoplectic aphasia, the study of Chinese medicine lay particular emphasis on treatment with more interfering methods but lacking unifying evaluation criteria; while studies of Western medicine lay particular emphasis on studies of mechanisms, classification and language rehabilitation of aphasia, etc.. Selection and application of scientific study methods are key to attain expectation results of studies, and deeply make studies of apoplectic aphasia, so as to explore and establish the model of integrated Chinese and western medicine study of aphasia, promote rehabilitation of language function and increase life quality of the patient of apoplexy.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1994;0(04):-
Objective To study the effects of nitric oxide synthase(NOS) and nitric oxide(NO) in post-asphyxial renal injury in neonatal rats. Methods Forty-eight Wistar neonatal rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:controls,2 h,24 h and 48 h post-asphyxia groups (12 in each group). The rats were decapitated in different times(2 h,24 h and 48 h) after asphyxia for 30 minutes. The renals were dissected to determined the concentrations of NO and NOS.And the scores of renal tubules were measured under light microscope. Results Compared with control group, the levels of NO and NOS significantly increased at 2 h and 24 h after asphyxia. The scores of renal tubules were significant difference at 24 h and 48 h after asphyxia compared to controls. Conclusion These findings suggest NOS and NO may play an important role in the development of post-asphyxia renal injury.

To study the behavior and attention problems in children with obstructive sleep apnea and hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS),Total 451 children (300 boys and 151 girls) aged >5 years with sleep and breathing problems undergoing polysomnography (PSG) monitoring from September 2012 to March 2014 were enrolled in this study. The behavior part of Vanderbilt attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) parent rating scale (VADPRS) and Conners index of hyperactivity (CIH) were completed by the parents.Children were divided into OSAHS group (n =347) and non-OSAHS (n =104) group according to the diagnostic criteria of OSAHS (AHI > 5).According to VADPRS scores the prevalence of attention defect tendency in OSAHS group was 6.63% (23/347),which was significantly higher than that in non-OSAHS group [1.00% (1/104),x2 =5.100,P < 0.05];the prevalence of hyperactivity in OSAHS and nonOSAHS groups was 6.92% (24/347) and 1.92% (2/104),respectively (x2 =3.672,P > 0.05).According to CIH scores, the prevalence of hyperactivity in OSAHS group was 11.24% (39/347),which was significantly higher than that in non-OSAHS group [1.92% (2/104),x2 =3.976,P <0.05].Children with OSAHS are prone to have problems of attention and hyperactivity, even likely to have attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders.

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2013;21(1):126-129
This study was aimed to construct a pEGFP-N1 vector of von Willebrand factor cleaving protease (ADAMTS13, a disintegrin and metalloprotease with a thrombospondin type 1 motifs 13) so as to pave the way for further studying its synthesis and secretion. Human full-length cDNA sequence of ADAMTS13 was acquired by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with Phusion(®) High-Fidelity (NEB), then the PCR product was double digested with EcoRI and XhoI. After digestion, the ADAMTS13 cDNA sequence was purified and recombined with the pEGFP-N1 vector. The DNA sequence analysis showed that ADAMTS13 was ligated to the pEGFP-N1 vector correctly. After transient expression in HeLa cells, the expression of EGFP could be detected by fluorescent microscopy, and the expression of ADAMTS13 protein could be detected by SDS-PAGE and Western blot. It is concluded that the ADAMTS13-pEGFP-N1 vector is successfully constructed, and it can be widely used in further research on the mechanism of the synthesis and secretion of ADAMTS13.
