Objective To analyze the clinical manifestation, diagnosis and treatment of acute mesenteric vascular obliteration (AMVO). Methods 112 cases of AMVO were analyzed, including 20 cases admitted to our hospital from 1992 to 2004 and 92 cases reported by other hospitals. Results Abdominal pain, abdominal distension, nausea and vomiting, decrease or disappearance of bowel sound, elevation of white blood cell count were more frequent manifestations.Cardiovascular disease, portal vein stasis or hypercoagulation state were common findings in patients' history. The average misdiagnosis rate of AMVO in these 112 patients was 61.5%, with a misdiagnosis rate of 45.0% in 20 cases of our hospital. The average mortality rate of all these patients was 41.9%, with a mortality rate of 30.0% for 20 cases of our hospital. Conclusion The early clinical manifestation of AMVO lacks specificity, the misdiagnosis ratio and mortality rate are very high. Angiography should be done early to confirm the diagnosis and improve the therapeutic effect in the patients suspicions of having this ailment.

Twenty-eight moderately halophilic bacteria isolated from salt lakes in Xinjiang Regions were analyzed by 16S rDNA PCR-RFLP in comparison with nine reference strains of related species. The 16S rRNA PCR products of the tested stains were digested by four restriction enzymes (AluI, HinfI, RsaI and HaeⅢ). The results showed that all tested strains were clustered into three groups at 74% similarity level. Group I included 2 reference strains Chromohalobacter marismortui, Nesterenkonia halobia and new isolate CI. Group Ⅱ included seven type strains belonging to Halomonas and eight new isolates. Group Ⅲ included ninteen new isolates.

An indexing system is constructed,based on the implementation of prevention and control technology for chronic non-communicable diseases in community health service institutions,using both literature review and Delphi method,and using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to calculate the weight of the indexing system.The system comprises three level-1 indexes,8 level-2 indexes and 33 level-3 indexes.The research proposed a transition from emphasis of therapeutic means to prevention,and emphasis on prevention and control technologies to the high-risk population in the prevention and control technology of chronic non-communicable diseases,along with development of techniques and measures to encourage behavioral changes of the population with chronic diseases.

Objective To study the iodine nutritional status and thyroid function of adults in urban and rural areas of Wuwei City Gansu Province.Methods A cross-sectional survey was performed in 200 adults aged 18-45 who had lived more than six months in Wuwei City from April 2009 to January 2010.A random urine and fasting blood samples were collected.Urinary iodine content was measured with arsenic cerium catalytic spectrophotometry.The thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH),free thyroid hormone (FT4) and three free triiodothyronine (FT3) were quantified by direct chemiluminescence immunoassay.Thyroglobulin antibodies (TGAb) and thyroid microsomal antibodies (TMAb) were detected by radioimmunoassay.Results A total of 99 and 98 copies of urine samples of urban and rural groups were tested,respectively.The median of urinary iodine of urban and rural groups was 189.0 and 258.2 μg/L,respectively,and rural group was higher than urban group (Z =-4.020,P ＜ 0.01).A total of 104 and 95 copies of blood samples of urban and rural groups were detected; mean value of FT4 in urban group [(16.8 ± 3.0)pmol/L] was higher than that of rural group [(15.4 ± 2.4)pmol/L,t =3.539,P ＜ 0.01].The positive rates of TGAb of urban and rural groups were 11.5％ (12/104) and 15.8％ (15/95),respectively; the positive rates of TMAb of urban and rural groups were 13.5％ (14/104) and 14.7％ (14/95),respectively; the positive rates of TGAb of male and female were 5.5％ (6/109) and 23.3％ (21/90),respectively; the positive rates of TMAb of male and female were 6.4％ (7/109) and 23.3％ (21/90),respectively.The positive rates of TGAb and TMAb were lower in male than in female (x2 =13.362,11.661,all P ＜ 0.01).The rates of thyroid function disorders of urban and rural groups were 16.3％ (17/104) and 8.4％ (8/95),of male and female 11.9％ (13/109) and 13.3％ (12/90),respectively.Subclinical hypothyroidism in all thyroid function disorders was the most common,which was 14.4％ (15/104) and 7.4％ (7/95) in urban and rural groups,11.0％ (12/109) and 11.1％ (10/90) in male and female,respectively.Conclusions Iodine nutrition level is appropriate for adults in urban areas,but in rural areas iodine nutrition is high or excessive; subclinical hypothyroidism in all thyroid function disorders is the most common; we should be concerned about the risk of iodine overdose,especially the risk of illness in women.

Objective:To evaluate the reliability and validity of the adaptation OSSIQ in measuring the life quality of the populations with different types of subjective skin.Methods:A stratified samplings strategy was adopted to select 140 college students, workers, personnel of enterprises and institutions aged 18-60 years old.The reliability and validity of adaptation OSSIQ were evealuated using internal consistency validity, split half reliability, and construct validity.Results:The adaptation OSSIQ had a Cronbach's α efficient of 0.924 and 0.902.Split half reliability, the Spearman-Brown before and after skin care were 0.877 and the Guttman Split-Half coefficients were 0.876 and 0.874 respectively.Contentvalidity, the Item-scale correlation coefficients exceed 0.5 (P<0.001) before and after skin care.Satisfactory (100%) convergent validity and discriminant validity were found.The contract validity was checked by factor analysis;after quartimax rotation, the researcher extracted the factors by the default principle of eigenvalue>1.Each factor consisted of the items with factor loading≥0.6;the load factor value belonged to high level (≥0.6) by factor analysis.Conclusion:Adaptation OSSIQ has good reliability and validity for the evaluation on life quality of the populations with different types of subjective skin.It can be used to evaluate the influence of different types of skin in the life quality.

Objective To observe the effect of comprehensive nursing of traditional Chinese medicine and Western Medicine on children′s supracondylar humerus fracture of ulnar deviation on postoperative recovery. Methods From November 2015 to February 2016, 52 inpatients were divided into 2 groups by random digits table method after the external fixation removal surgery with 26 cases each. The observation group was intervened by integrated nursing and was given TCM rehabilitation guidance, while the control group was intervened by regular nursing and was given regular rehabilitation guidance. After 4 weeks, the therapeutic effect was evaluated according to Chinese Medicine Orthopedic Syndrome Diagnosis and their elbow joint function was evaluated by Flynn score. In 8 weeks of follow up, all the patients were valued by their quality of life. Results In the process of intervention, with 1 case fell off in the observation group, 3 cases fell off in the control group, so finally the observation group with 25 cases, the control group with 23 cases. Fifteen cases were cured, 7 cases were improved, 3 cases were not cured at 4 weeks after surgery in the observation group, 8, 6, 9 cases in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (Z=-2.120, P=0.034). At 4 weeks after surgery, 10, 6, 6, 3 cases were excellent, good, medium and poor evaluated by Flynn score in the observation group, 5, 4, 5, 9 cases in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (Z=-2.051, P=0.040). Incidence of postoperative complications was 8.0% (2/25) in the observation group, 30.4% (7/23) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=2.622, P=0.047). Physical, psychological, social and environmental fields of quality of life were 77.84 ± 12.15, 81.13 ± 15.72, 79.95 ± 20.68, 79.44 ± 11.57 in the observation group, 63.31 ± 15.86, 63.07 ± 12.63, 65.65 ± 18.51, 61.32 ± 17.24 in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (t=2.516- 4.363, P<0.05). Conclusions Integrated nursing intervention with TCM rehabilitation guidance is a method which can effectively help in improving the elbow movement function and the life quality of children with supracondylar humerus fractures of ulnar deviation.

Objective: To construct eukaryotic expression vector pSecTag2/HygroB-DAF of human decay accelerating factor (DAF) and transfect NIH/3T3 cells after encapsulated by chitosan. Methods:The human DAF fragments were obtained by PCR form DAF-pGEM-T Easy Vector, cloned into the eukaryotic expression vector pSecTag2/HygroB, and identified by restriction endonuclease’s digestion and DNA sequencing. After the particles of pSecTag2/HygroB-DAF were encapsulated by chitosan, the NIH/3T3 cells were transfected by chitosan-DAF nanoparticles and detected DAF expression by immunohistochemistry stain. Results:The DAF fragment was 1049 bp. Its sequence was as same as DAF cDNA in Genebank. After having been transfected by chitosan-DAF nanoparticles 24 hours, the NIH/3T3 cells showed diffusely positive in cytoplasms by anti-DAF immunohistochemistry. Conclusion:Eukaryotic expression vector of human DAF were constructed successfully and transfected it to NIH/3T3 cells after encapsulated by chitosan.

Cultured human testicular tissues were grouped as follows:control group,group tracted with single dosc of human chorionic gonadotropin(hCG), group treated with double doses of hCG given at three-day-interval and group treated with multiple doses of hCG. The dose of hCG was 20kIU/L,and it was added into the medium and incubated for 24 hours. Testosterone was measured by RIA. The result indicated that all three hCG-treated groups had a testosterone secretion peak at 48-72 hours after the first dose of hCG. After the second hCG treatment given in three days interval the testosterone increased again. but its maximal rise reduced. Multiple doses of hCG given successively inhibited the response of Leydig cells to hCG stimulation.

AIM:To evaluate the availability and our experience of intraoperative image-guidance in endoscopic nasocular operation.METHODS:Seven cases of endoscopic nasal surgery with intraoperative image-guidance were retropectively reviewed,including 3 cases of optic nerve injury;3 cases of foreign object of optic behind the eyeball;1 case of retrobulbar tumor(angeioma).RESULTS:The preoperative preparatory time would take 15 minutes,including coordination,head holder localization,conventional instrument registration.In our cases,the localization accuracy between 3-D image landmarks of navigation system and actual anatomical landmarks was less than 1.3mm.The optic nerve and other anatomical points could be orientated accurately in intraoperative procedures.No complication occurred.CONCLUSION:Nasal endoscope combined with imageguidance systems provides accurate anatomical localization of anterior skull base with enlarged operation field.It is possible for surgeons to observe important anatomical structures during endoscopic surgery.It could increase the effectiveness and decrease surgical complications,especially in complicated cases.

Twenty nine moderately halophilic bacteria isolated from salt lakes in Xinjiang Region were compared with nine reference strains of relative species by performing a numerical analysis of 112 phenotypic characteristics. All the new isolates are Gram negative and can grow on the media containing 0～25% NaCl. The results showed that all tested strains were clustered into 2 phena at 76 % similarity level. Phenon I was composed by 25 new isolates strains,and phenon II included 9 reference strains and 4 new lsolated strains. Most of the new isolated strains were clusted into 3 subphena at 86 % similarity level. There were 10 new isolated strains in subphenon 1, 8 new isolated strains in subphenon 2, and 1 new isolated strain and 5 reference strains were included in subphenon 3. The results indicated that there were great differences between the new isolates and the reference strains.
