1.The research progress of LSD1 in malignant tumors
Practical Oncology Journal 2014;(6):569-572
Lysine specific demethylase 1( LSD1) is a kind of flavin adenine dinucleotid ( FAD) dependent amine oxidase and can specifically demethylate H 3K4me2/me1 and H3K9me2/mel, thus it can regulate gene transcriptional activity .LSD1 is essential for mammalian development and is involved in many biological proces-ses,including cell differentiation, gene activation, and gene repression.Nowadays,it is demonstrated that LSD1 might promote cell phase transition(deficiency in LSD1 leads to partial cell cycle arrest in G2/M)and cell prolif-eration,suggesting that the over -expression of LSD1 might promote tumorigenesis.LSD1,as a demethylase, may be a new target for anti -cancer therapy.Hereby,we review on the structure, action mode of LSD1 and its rela-tionship with oncogenesis .

Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2016;(1):35-37
Objective To study the application value of laparoscopic uterine artery occlusion and uterine myomectomy for uterine myo-mas. Methods The data of 80 patients with uterine myomas in our hospital from January 2011 to January 2015 were studied. They were ran-domly divided into control group and observation group,40 cases in each group. The patients in control group received the laparoscopic myo-mectomy and the patients in observation group were treated by uterine artery occlusion and myomectomy. The hospitalization time, blood loss, disease incidence and recurrence between two groups were compared and analyzed. Results There was no statistically significance in aver-age operative time between two groups(P>0. 05). The exhaust time and hospital stay time in observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, the difference were statistically significant(P<0. 05). The blood loss in the control group(145. 2 ± 35. 5) mL was significantly higher than that of observation group(50. 8 ± 21. 6) mL,the difference were statistically significant(χ2 =14. 367 5,P=0. 000 0). The improved rate of postoperative menorrhagia in observation group was 100%, the control group was 25%,the differences were statistically significant(χ2 =4. 599 6,P=0. 032 0). There was no postoperative morbidity and recurrence in observation group. The postoperative morbidi-ty and recurrence rate in the control group were 5 cases (12. 50%) and 11 cases (27. 50%) respectively, the differences between two groups were statistically significant(P<0. 05). Conclusion Laparoscopic uterine artery occlusion combined with uterine myomectomy can reduce blood loss, shorten hospital stay time, reduce postoperative complication and recurrence of uterine myomas.

5.The value of electroneurograms and sympathetic skin response for diagnosing diabetic peripheral neuropathy
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2003;0(08):-
Objective To observe the value of electroneurograms and sympathetic skin response (SSR) in diagnosing diabetic peripheral neuropathy( DPN). Methods The electroneurophysiological data on 36 patients with DPN, including motor nerve conduction velocity (MCV) data, sensory nerve conduction velocity (SCV) data and sympathetic skin response ( SSR) data, were analyzed retrospectively. Results Two hundred and sixteen nerves of 36 patients with DPN were inspected. Among 108 nerves tested for MCV, 32 were found to have slowed down, 8 of them with the prolongation of distal delitescence. The amplitudes of compound muscle action potential (CMAP) induced by stimulation of 4 nerves were found to have decreased. The abnormality rate was 40. 7% . Among 108 nerves tested for SCV, 42 were found to have slowed down, 7 were tested with no potential elicited, and 6 were found to have decreased SCV with the prolongation of distal delitescence. The abnormality rate was 50. 9% . Seventy-two limbs of 36 patients with DPN were inspected. Four patients showed no SSR in both their upper and lower limbs. For 38 limbs of 22 patients, the SSR latency was found to be prolonged and the SSR amplitudes were found to have decreased. The abnormality rate was 63.8% . Among 10 patients without neuropathy, 3 patients' SSR was found to be abnormal, an abnormality rate of 30% . Conclusion Electroneurograms and SSR are sensitive indices for the diagnosis of DPN. Their diagnostic sensitivity can be improved if all the parameters are used together.

International Eye Science 2017;17(10):1841-1844
AIM:To compare and analyze the effect of recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor ( bFGF ) eye drops and hydroxyl indican eye drops on the tear film stability and dry eye symptoms after age-related cataract surgery. ·METHODS: A total of 115 patients ( 115 affected eyes ) with dry eyes after age-related cataract surgery were divided into the bFGF group, the hydroxyl indican group and the blank control group by the random number table method. The blank control group was only given routine anti-inflammatory treatment, and on the basis, the bFGF group and the hydroxyl indican group were treated with bFGF eye drops and hydroxyl indican eye drops respectively. The clinical efficacy, adverse reactions, changes in scores of dry eye symptoms, Schirmer test ( SⅠt) , tear film break- up time ( BUT ) and corneal fluorescein staining ( CFS) scores at different time points were compared among the three groups. ·RESULTS:The total markedly effective rates in the bFGF group ( 89. 5%) was higher than that in the hydroxyl indican group ( 70. 3%) or the blank control group (47. 5%) (P<0. 05). Scores of dry eye symptoms, CFS, SⅠt and BUT in the three groups at 2 and 5wk after surgery were significantly different (P<0. 05). The above-mentioned indexes in the bFGF group at 2 and 5wk after surgery were significantly better than those in the hydroxyl indican group and the blank control group, and better in the hydroxyl indican group than the blank control group ( P < 0. 05 ). There were no obvious adverse reactions. ·CONCLUSION: The tear film is unstable in early stage after age-related cataract surgery, and there are dry eye symptoms. The intervention with bFGF eye drops and hydroxyl indican eye drops can effectively restore the tear film stability and significantly relieve dry eye symptoms, and the effect of bFGF eye drops is more significant.
