International Eye Science 2016;16(7):1295-1297
Wide- angle viewing system as an important auxiliary device can clearly observe the whole fundus field of vision in vitreous surgery, which enable vitreoretinal surgery more efficient, safer and more effective. So it has very high application value in ophthalmologic operation. In this paper, we studied the development and application of wide - angle viewing system in vitreoretinal surgery in recent years, from which we summed up the advantage of non - contact wide - angle viewing system in clinical field, and pointed out the shortcomings. The ultimate goal is to make the non -contact wide - angle viewing system better applied in vitreous surgery.

The effects of different concentrations of vascular endothelial cell growth factor (VEGF) on the fibrovascular ingrowth into rabbits hydroxyapatite orbital implant were investigated. Twelve New Zealand white rabbits were divided into 3 groups and received hydroxyapatite orbital implant surgery in their right eyes. Before and after the operation, the implants were treated with 10 ng/ml VEGF, 100 ng/ml VEGF, or normal saline as control group. The animals received technetium bones scan at 2, 4, and 6 weeks postoperatively. The mean radioactivity counts within region of interest (ROI) of the surgery eye (R) and the non-surgery eye (L) in the same animal were tested, and the R/L ratios were calculated. The implants were harvested at 6th weeks and examined histopathologically. The results showed that at second week, there was no significant difference in mean R/L ratios between VEGF group and control group (F=2.83, P=0.111); At 4th week (F=7.728, P=0.011) and 6th week (F=7.831, P=0.011) postoperatively, the mean ratios in VEGF groups were significantly higher than that in control group. At 6th week postoperatively, the fibrovascularization rates in VEGF groups were higher than in control group significantly (F=8.711, P=0.008). It was suggested that VEGF could promote the fibrovascular ingrowth into hydroxyapatite orbital implant, thus might shorten the time required for complete vascularization of the HA orbital implant.

Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2001;0(03):-
Objective To study the relationship between pain symptoms and the clinico-pathological features of pelvic endometriosis (EM).Methods One hundred thirty patients with laparoseopic diagnosis of EM were studied retrospectively and the relationship between pain symptoms including dysmenorrhea, chronic pelvic pain(CPP),dyspareunia and dysehezia and the anatomical features of pelvic endometriosis were evaluated. Results One hundred (76.9%)patients with pain symptoms and 30 (23.1%)without were included in this study. The number of patients with mild, moderate and severe dysmenorrhoea was 27 (20.8%),41(31.5%),and 32 (24.6%),respectively.Patients with dyspareunia,CPP and dyschezia were 46(35.4%),45(34.6%) and 67(51.5%),respectively.Compared with patients without dysmenorrhea, the proportion of deep utero-sacral nodules (45.0% vs 13.3%,P=0.00),recto-vaginal nodules (16.0% vs 0,P=0.01),complete obliteration of eul-de sac (41.0% vs 10.0%,P=0.00),and lesions of DIE (51.0% vs 16.7%,P=0.00) was significantly increased in patients with dysmenorrhea. The severity of dysmenorrhea was positively correlated with nodules in uterosacral ligaments (P=0.005,r= 0.302),and invasive depth of uterosacral ligaments (P=0.016,OR=5.085).Among patients with endometrioma, significantly more moderate to severe adhesions were found in patients with dysmenorrhea , compared with those patients without dysmenorrhea(29.1% vs 8.3%,P=0.029).Patients with CPP had more nodules in the utero-sacral ligaments(51.1% vs 30.6%,P=0.018)and DIE lesions(57.8% vs 35.3%,P=0.011),compared with those without.More nodules in the utero-saeral ligaments(46,3% vs 28.6%,P=0.028),recto-vaginal nodules(19.4% vs 4.8%,P=0.01),complete obliteration of cul-de sac(44.8% vs 22.2%,P=0.005)and DIE lesions(53.7% vs 31.7%,P=0.01)were found in patients with dyschezia, compared with those without.Nodules in the recto-vaginal pouch were an independent risk factor of dyspareunia. Conclusion Pain symptoms including dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, chronic pelvic pain, and dysehezia are remarkedly related to endometriotic nodules at the posterior part of the pelvis or those with deep invasions.

Objective To investigate the significance and distribution of lymphopenia and antilymphocyte antibody(ALA) in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and to explore the role of ALA in lympho penia. Methods One hundred and ten in-patients who were admitted during February 2003 to February 2008 were retrospectively reviewed.Indirect immunofluorescence test was used to detect ALA.Results ① Lymphopenia (<1.5×109/L) was observed in 68.2% patients.Lymphopenia was associated with skin rashes, serositis, renal involvement,NPSLE,leucopenia,ANA,ds-DNA antibody,ESR and IgG levels. The lymphocyte count and SLEDAI scores was more closely correlated than total white blood cell counts.②ALA was positive in 51/110 (46.4%) patients.ALA was associated with renal involvement,NPSLE,WBC count,C3 level decrease,ANA,dsDNA antibody and SLEDAI scores. Conclusion Lymphopenia is significantly associated with SLEDAI scores.ALA is possibly one cause of lymphcytopenia. In addition,ALA is also a parameter for disease activity, and is associated with organ involvement and outcomes.

China Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology 2015;28(5):476-481
Spinal biomechanics, especially the range of spine motion, has close connection with spinal surgery. The change of the range of motion (ROM) is an important indicator of diseases and injuries of spine, and the essential evaluating standards of effect of surgeries and therapies to spine. The analysis of ROM can be dated to the time of the invention of X-ray and even that before it. With the development of science and technology as well as the optimization of various types of calculation methods, diverse measuring methods have emerged, from imaging methods to non-imaging methods, from two-dimensional to three-dimensional, from measuring directly on the X-ray films to calculating automatically by computer. Analysis of ROM has made great progress, but there are some older methods cannot meet the needs of the times and disappear, some classical methods such as X-ray still have vitality. Combining different methods, three dimensions and more vivo spine research are the trend of analysis of ROM. And more and more researchers began to focus on vivo spine research. In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of the methods utilized recently are presented through viewing recent literatures, providing reference and help for the movement analysis of spine.
