Objective To investigate the relation of the associated biomarkers and the early clinicaloutcomes in acute cerebral infarction. Methods Three hundred and seventeen patients with cerebral infarctionwere enrolled after the first onset. Coagulation function, liver, kidney function, blood cholesterol, andelectrolytical were tested within 24 hours of onset. Chinese Stroke Scale (CSS) and National Institutes of HealthStroke Scale (NHISS) were scored on admission, and NHISS on the tenth day after admission were scored.Evaluated the severity on admission and early functional recovery on the tenth day after admission with CSS andthe difference of NHISS. According to CSS, patients were divided into three groups: mild, moderate and severegroup. According to scale margin of NHISS between on admission and the tenth day after admission , patients weredivided into three groups: improved group, unchanged group and worsened group. Difference of biomarkers amongdifferent groups were statistical analyzed. Results Serum calcium (SC), TBIL, FIB, HCY, SUA levels amongmild, moderate and severe group were significantly different (P < 0.05). The more severe, the higher TBIL,FIB, HCY, SUA levels and the lower SC level. The SC, FIB, SUA levels were significantly different amongimproved group, unchanged group and worsened group (P < 0.05). SC level were the lowest in worsened group,while FIB, SUA levels were the highest. Conclusions In acute cerebral infarction patients, SC, FIB, SUAlevels are closely related to the severity and early clinical prognosis.

Objective To evaluate the interference of 13 kinds of β‐lactam antibiotics in fructosamine detection .Methods A se‐ries of solution of antimicrobial drugs were formulated with water for injection ,and added into the mixture fresh serum volume by 5% .Interfere with antimicrobial drugs on the test results of fructosamine were evaluated .Results When the blood concentrations of cefathiamidine and ticarcillin sodium/clavulanate potassium were up to 37 .5 mg/L and 247 .5 μg/mL respectively ,they began to produce positive interference on fructosamine detection .However ,the degree of interference was not correlated to the serum concen‐tration of fructosamine .Conclusion Cephathiamidine and ticarcillin sodium/clavulanate potassium have positive interference on fructosamine detection .

Objective To investigate the correlation between the Periostin and Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition(EMT) markers(E-cadheirn and N-cadheirn) in colorectal cancer(CRC),and analyze the relationship between the expression of Periostin and clinicopathological parameters.Methods The expression of Periostin,Ecadheirn and N-cadheirn in 106 cases with primary CRC tumors and corresponding normal tissues were detected by Immunohistoehemistry and the results were analyzed.Results The expression of Periostin,E-cadheirn and N-cad-heirn in tumors were significantly high expression than those in corresponding normal tissues(62/106 vs 21/106,x2 =34.027,P ＜ 0.05 ;43/106 vs 89/106,x2 =42.480,P ＜ 0.05 ; 66/106 vs 19/106,x2 =43.382,P ＜ 0.05).The expression of Periostin in tumors was associated significantly with tumor differentiation,tumor invasion,lymph node metastasis and distance metastasis (x2 =7.752,P =0.007; x2 =5.008,P =0.031 ; x2 =10.227,P =0.002;x2 =8.001,P =0.006).It was negatively correlated with E-cadherin expression (r =-0.435,P ＜ 0.001),but positively correlated with N-cadherin expression (r =0.213,P =0.028).Conclusion Periostin may promote the occurrence and development of CRC by participating in EMT program.

Objective:To evaluate the reliability and validity of the adaptation OSSIQ in measuring the life quality of the populations with different types of subjective skin.Methods:A stratified samplings strategy was adopted to select 140 college students, workers, personnel of enterprises and institutions aged 18-60 years old.The reliability and validity of adaptation OSSIQ were evealuated using internal consistency validity, split half reliability, and construct validity.Results:The adaptation OSSIQ had a Cronbach's α efficient of 0.924 and 0.902.Split half reliability, the Spearman-Brown before and after skin care were 0.877 and the Guttman Split-Half coefficients were 0.876 and 0.874 respectively.Contentvalidity, the Item-scale correlation coefficients exceed 0.5 (P<0.001) before and after skin care.Satisfactory (100%) convergent validity and discriminant validity were found.The contract validity was checked by factor analysis;after quartimax rotation, the researcher extracted the factors by the default principle of eigenvalue>1.Each factor consisted of the items with factor loading≥0.6;the load factor value belonged to high level (≥0.6) by factor analysis.Conclusion:Adaptation OSSIQ has good reliability and validity for the evaluation on life quality of the populations with different types of subjective skin.It can be used to evaluate the influence of different types of skin in the life quality.

Objective To explore the relationship between plasma N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) level and the location and prognosis of acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) in elderly people.Methods From May 2012 to April 2014, the 137 elderly patients (aged≥60 years) with acute STEMI within 24 h after symptoms onset admitted in cardiovascular department of Ningbo First Hospital were selected as acute myocardial infarction group (AMI group), and 40 elderly healthy people (age≥60 years) as control group.The plasma NT-proBNP levels were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA), and compared between the two groups.The patients in AMI group were classified into four subgroups: anterior AMI group (A group, n=44), anterolateral AMI group (B group, n=21), anterior septal AMI group (C group,n=18) and inferior AMI group (D group, n=54), and the changes of plasma NT-proBNP levels in different infarction location were explored.Meanwhile, all patients were followed up for 30 days and 1 year to observe major adverse cardiac events (MACEs) and mortality rate, then to explore the relationship between plasma NT-proBNP level and prognosis in elderly people with STEMI.Results The plasma NT-proBNP levels were significantly higher in AMI group than in control group [(1 406.2±1 322.5)ng/L vs.(63.7±18.5) ng/L, P＜0.01].The changes of plasma NT-proBNP levels in high-to-low sequence were from A group to B group to C group to D group and to control group (P＜0.05).At 30 days, the plasma NT-proBNP levels were higher in death group than in survival group (P＜0.05), and were higher in MACE group than in non-MACE group (P＜0.05).At one year, there were no significant differences in plasma NT-proBNP levels between death group and survival group (P＞0.05), and the plasma NT-proBNP levels were higher in MACE group than in non-MACE group (P＜0.05).Conclusions In elderly STEMI patients, there is a correlation between plasma NT-proBNP levels and infarct location, with the highest NT-proBNP level in anterior AMI.The plasma NT-proBNP level could predict MACE.

The liquid-chromatography-mass technology was used in the metabolomic analysis of mouse's blood 1 hour after exhaustive exercise,in order to explore the potential mechanism of Rhodiola in fatigue elimination of exhaustive exercise mouse.The exhaustive mouse model was made by loaded-swimming.A total of 24 mice were randomly divided into theRhodiola + exercise group,exercise group andno-exercise group.The dose of Rhodiola was 0.4375 g·kg-1·d-1.The loaded-swimming was conducted after two successive weeks of medication.Blood was collected 1 h after swimming for the sample preparation.The enzyme assay and anthrone colorimetry were used to test blood lactate acid and glucose,respectively.UFLC-Q-TOF was used to detect metabolic profiles of each group.The principal component analysis (PCA),orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) and heat map analysis were used to compare differences among groups with score chart and to obtain the characteristics biomarkers by load chart.The results showed that the blood lactate acid level of theRhodiola+ exercise group was significantly lower than that of theexercise group.And the glucose level of theRhodiola+ exercise group was significantly higher than that of theexercise group.The metabolomic analysis showed that there were no obvious changes on 1,25-(OH)2D3,diacylglycerol (DG) and inositol triphosphate (IP3).All three materials in theRhodiola + exercise group were significantly lower than those of theexercise group.They were much closer to theno-exercise group.And all three materials were related to the increasing of muscle tension.It was concluded that Rhodiola had the function of promoting fatigue eliminating.This effect may be related to cell membrane protection,regulation of 1,25-(OH)2-D3→IP3,DG pathway,and relieving of muscle tension after exercises.

In this study, calcium phosphate cements (CPC) were prepared by mixing cement powders of tetracalcium phosphate (TTCP) with a cement liquid of phosphate acid saline solution. Tetracycline (TTC)-CPC, chitosan-CPC and chitosan-TTC-CPC were investigated with different premixed schedule. It was demonstrate that both TTC and chitosan worked on the phase transition and crystal characteristics. TTCP mixed with phosphate acid saline solution had similar features of Fourier transform-infrared spectrometry (FT-IR) no matter it was mixed with chitosan or TTC or both. TTC premixed with cement liquid or powder had significant different features of FT-IR and 876 cm(-1) seemed to be a special peak for TTC when TTC was premixed with cement liquid. This was also supported by XRD analysis, which showed that TTC premixed with cement liquid improved phase transition of TTCP to OCP. Chitosan, as organic additive, regulates the regular crystal formation and inhibits the phase transition of TTCP to OCP, except when it is mingled with cement liquid premixed with TTC in field scanning electron microscope. It was concluded that the premixed schedule influences the crystal formation and phase transition, which may be associated with its biocompatibility and bioactivities in vivo.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGF-C) and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-3 (VEGF-R3) in peripheral blood of patients with lung cancer and the pathological characteristics, and to assess the ability to evaluate lymphatic and distant metastasis of the two marks.Methods VEGF-C and VEGF-R3 were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in 124 patients with lung cancer and 30 normal controls, and used to analyze the relationship with the pathological characteristics of lung cancer.Results The serum levels [M(QR)] of VEGF-C and VEGF-R3 in patients with lung cancer were 283.57 (120.70) pg/ml and 62.72 (43.02) ng/ml, significantly higher than the control whose VEGF-C and VEGF-R3 were 234.62 (129.20) ng/ml and 43.08 (17.07) pg/ml, respectively (Z=-2.840, P=0.005;Z=-3.834, P<0.001).No correlation was found between the expression of VEGF-C and age, sex, primary tumor site, T stage (Z=-0.949, P=0.343;Z=-0.454, P=0.649;Z=-1.168, P=0.243;Z=-1.694, P=0.090).But the expression of VEGF-C was significantly related with pathologic type, N stage and M stage (χ2=8.829, P=0.012;χ2=27.148, P<0.001;Z=-2.221, P=0.026).However, the expression of VEGF-R3 was not correlated with age, sex, the site of the primary lesion, pathological type and T, N, M stage (Z=-0.558, P=0.577;Z=-0.599, P=0.549;Z=-0.703, P=0.482;χ2=1.166, P=0.558;Z=-0.680, P=0.496;χ2=0.353, P=0.950;Z=-1.523, P=0.128).Conclusion The expressions of VEGF-C and VEGF-R3 in patients with lung cancer are higher than those in normal control, and the expression of VEGF-C is related with patho-logic type, N stage and M stage.The detection of VEGF-C in peripheral blood of lung cancer is expected to be an assistant marker for the evaluation of lymph node metastasis and blood metastasis, but VEGF-R3 does not show its value.
