Objective:To establish and validate a new model of health belief model(HBM) combined with theory of planned behavior(TPB).Methods:Path analysis was applied to set up a new model predicting iron-fortified soy sauce consumption behavior using baseline survey data among women in rural and urban areas in Beijing, and the model was validated in follow-up survey. Results:It was proved that health values had powerful direct effect on behavior identity and had relatively strong direct effect on attitudes towards behavior;behavior identity had strong effect on behavior barriers, mostly in a direct way,and on behavior intention in a direct or indirect way;control belief was an important external factor influencing behavior intention;behavior intention was the most direct and most important one of factors influencing actual behavior;and convenience to buy was an important external factor influencing actual beha-vior.Conclusion:The integrated model of TPB and HBM explains behavior better and may be attempted in other similar researches.

Drug safety has always been a global focus. Discovery and accurate information acquisition of adverse drug reaction have been the most crucial concern. Terminology of adverse drug reaction makes adverse reaction medical report meaningful, standardized and accurate. This paper discussed the domestic use of the terminology WHOART and MedDRA in terms of content, structure, and application situation. It also analysed the differences between the two terminologies and discusses the future trend of application in our country

AIM: It is found that some active priciples of ginseng can enhance and activate body immune system, and have many bioactivities such as anti-tumor, anti-aging and anti-radiation. This study examined the effect of ginsenoside-Rh2 (GS-Rh2) on proliferation and apoptosis in human myeloid leukemia cell strain HL60, and analyzed the dose- and time-dependent manners of GS-Rh2. METHODS: Experiments were performed at the Department of Clinical Laboratory of Jilin Medical College from July to August in 2006. ①Rh2 was purchased from Hongjiu Biotech Co., Ltd. (batch number 050801), and prepared into 50 g/L stock solution by dissolving in pH 7.4 phosphate buffer saline. The HL60 cell strain was purchased from Shanghai Institute of Cell Biology of Chinese Academy of Sciences. ②HL60 cells in logarithmic growth phase were inoculated into 3?108 L-1 cell suspension. After the cells were cultured for 6 hours, 100 ?L GS-Rh2 at different concentrations (5,10,20,40,80 mg/L) was added respectively. After the cells were administrated for 48 hours, cell inhibition ratio (IR) was evaluated by MTT colorimetric assay. The 50% inhibitory concentration (IC50) was worked out. HL60 cell was acted with this concentration for different time (6, 12, 24, 48 and 72 hours), cell inhibition ratio (IR) at different time points was evaluated by MTT colorimetric assay, and compare it to the control. After the IC50 of GS-Rh2 acted for 48 hours, HL60 cells were observed with an inverted microscope. HL60 cell was stained by Giemsa, and the typical apoptosis cells were discovered. RESULTS: ①Dose-effect relationship: When the concentration of GS-Rh2 was 5,10,20,40 mg/L, the IR of GS-Rh2 to the growth of HL60 cells was increased gradually in obviously dose-dependent manner. The IR was similar between 80 mg/L and 40 mg/L. After the cells were administrated for 48 hours, the IC50 value was 13.0 mg/L. ②Time-effect relationship: After the concentration of IC50 of GS-Rh2 (13.0 mg/L) acting on HL60 line at different time points (6, 12, 24, 48 and 72 hours), cell IR was increased gradually (F=9.32,P

Objective:To evaluate the reliability and validity of the adaptation OSSIQ in measuring the life quality of the populations with different types of subjective skin. Methods:A stratified samplings strategy was adopted to select 140 college students, workers, personnel of enterprises and institutions aged 18-60 years old.The reliability and validity of adaptation OSSIQ were evealuated using internal consistency validity, split half reliability, and construct validity. Results:The adaptation OSSIQ had a Cronbach's α efficient of 0.924 and 0.902.Split half reliability, the Spearman-Brown before and after skin care were 0.877 and the Guttman Split-Half coefficients were 0.876 and 0.874 respectively.Contentvalidity, the Item-scale correlation coefficients exceed 0.5 (P<0.001) before and after skin care.Satisfactory (100%) convergent validity and discriminant validity were found. The contract validity was checked by factor analysis;after quartimax rotation, the researcher extracted the factors by the default principle of eigenvalue>1.Each factor consisted of the items with factor loading≥0.6;the load factor value belonged to high level (≥0.6) by factor analysis. Conclusion:Adaptation OSSIQ has good reliability and validity for the evaluation on life quality of the populations with different types of subjective skin.It can be used to evaluate the influence of different types of skin in the life quality.

Objective To investigate the profile and mechanism of imipenem resistance in the clinical isolates of Serratia marcescens. Methods A total of 152 strains of S. marcescens were isolated from January 2013 to December 2014. Disk diffusion method?and?automated?systems?were?used?to?determine?the?susceptibility?of?the?isolates.?The?modified?Hodge?test?and?EDTA?synergy?test?were?employed?to?test?carbapenemase?phenotype.?Agar?dilution?method?in?combination?with?efflux?pump?inhibitor?MC207110?was used to observe the change of imipenem MIC values. The genes encoding carbapenemase, AmpC beta-lactamase and outer membrane protein were detected by polymerase chain reaction. Results? Imipenem?resistance?was?identified?in?87?of?the?152?strains?of S. marcescens.?Modified?Hodge?test?was?positive?for?12?of?the?87?imipenem-resistant?S. marcescens strains. Objective To observe efficacy and safety of long-term Statins treatment in elderly patients aged over 80 years, and to provide clinical evidence for the rational use of Statins. Methods 224 patients aged 80 years and over were divided into two groups:Statin group given Statins (n=107),and control group not given Statin (n=117).The serum levels of total cholesterol (TC),lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and triglyceride (TG) were measured, and liver and renal function, alanine aminotransferase (ALT),creatine phosphokinase (CPK) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) were tested. Results Pretreatment levels of TC and LDL-C levels were (4.6 ± 1.0) and (2.6 ± 0.8) mmol/L and were decreased to (4.3±0.9) and (2.4±0.6) mmol/L after 1 year treatment (t=3.535,3.448,both P<0.05).The target rate in statin group for LDL C was 35.5 % in patients at very high risk. There were no significant differences in levels of ALT,CK and eGFR between pre-and post-treatment in both two groups [(20.2±9.2) U/L vs.(21.4±12.1) U/L,(86.5±53.9) U/L vs.(86.6±67.5) U/Land (53.1±17.3) ml/min vs.(51.9±18.0) ml/min,all P>0.05].Compared with pre-treatment,1 year treatment showed that glucose level was increased [(5.9± 1.0) mmol/L vs.(6.0± 1.0) mmol/L,t=2.287,P<0.05].Conclusions Long-term Statin treatment in elderly patients is safe and effective. We should correctly administer statin drugs, and closely monitor the safety indicators.
