Objective:The study focused on detecting the expression of Twist,HIF-1? and HBx in primary liver cancer(PLC) and assessment their relativity.Methods:The expression of Twist,HIF-l? and HBx in 33 cases of PLC and thein paracancerous tissues were examinated with immunohistochemical location technique.Seventeen health control subjects were included in the study. Objective To investigate the effect of cosmetic surgery on the facial soft tissue injuries.Methods The clinical data of 52 patients with facial soft tissue injuries from June 2013 to June 2014 were analyzed retrospectively.And plastic surgical techniques were applied to the early treatment of facial soft tissue injuries in patients,according to the size of defect and the degree of deformity of the patients,different plastic surgery treatment was chosen,such as skin flap or skin graft to repair wound surfaces.In this process,one must follow sterile noninvasive principle strictly with emphasis on the technique of plastic surgery such as entire debridement,wound healing application of skin flap and so on.Results Total 49 cases of facial soft tissue injuries were healed by first intention without significant complications,while 4 cases of them had mild scars.Absorbable suture exposition appeared in 3 patients after primary healing.Those sutures were romoved after disinfected and no sequelaes were happened.All patients were recovered with good appearances and functions to the most exent.Conclusions The treatment of facial soft tissue injuries,by applying plastic and aesthetic surgery,could reduce scar and postoperative deformity,and secondary corrective procedures can be avoided in most patients.

Objective To improve the efficiency of donated organs and to investigate the possi- bility and operation protocol of heart and lung transplantation from the same donor to different reci- pients.Methods The organs of heart and lung were obtained from three donors through the method of orthotopic lavage and whole cutting,and transplanted to end-stage patients with heart diseases or lung diseases.First,the donor was subjected to mechanical ventilation,thoracotomy and lavage of heart and lung.The heart and lung were cut in whole and separated.The recipients were subjected the re- trograde lavage of heart and lung.In the patients receiving unilateral lung transcription,the left and right lungs were isolated.Among 3 recipients of lung transcription,one underwent left unilateral lung transplantation and 2 bilateral lung transplantation.Three cases received orthotopic cardiac transplan- tation by using bicaval orthotopic heart transplantation (BOHT) anastomosis method.Results One recipient of left unilateral lung transplantation recovered well after operation.In one recipient under- going bilateral lung transplantation,right upper lung embolism occurred.After re-operation of cutting the right upper lung on the 9th day of the first one,he recovered from the illness.In another recipient receiving bilateral lung transplantation,anastomotic stenosis of trathea and pulmonary infection occurred after operation.After expectant treatment,he recovered from the illness,but died from serious infection 7 months after operation.One of the heart recipients was found having renal failure of first stage,and recovered from disease after hemodialysis treatment.Quality of life was good in all 3 heart recipients after operation and their heart function achieved the restoration of 0-Ⅰstage.Conclusion The treatment protocol of transplantation from the same donor to different recipients at the same time, which can make full use of the organs from donors,is feasible and has good effect.

Objective To examine the expression of a- and ?-defensin genes in human peripheral leukocytes. Methods Fifty-one healthy blood donors were studied. Peripheral leukocytes were stimulated by lipopolysaccharide ( LPS) 100 ng?ml-1 ex vivo. The level of defensin mRNA expression in the leukocytes were assessed after being incubated with LPS for 0 (baseline), 1, 3, 6, 12, 24 h by semi-quantitative RT-PCR. Southern blot analysis and sequencing were used to confirm the identity of defensin gene transcripts. Results Expression of ?-defensin 1-3 mRNA was detected in all donors studied, but no ?-defensin mRNA expression was detected in peripheral leukocytes before LPS-stimulation. Expression of ?-defensin-1 gene was detected in the leukocytes after being incuaated with LPS for 3 h in 45 of 51 donors (88.2% ) and ?-defensin-2 mRNA expression was positive in 20 donors (39.2 % ), but no ?-defensin-3 mRNA expression was detected. The levels of ?-defensin-1 and-2 mRNA peaked at 6 h and started decreasing at 12 h. In contrast there was no significant change in ?-defensin 1-3 mRNA in peripheral leukocytes after LPS-stimulation. Conclusion In human peripheral leukocytes ?-defensin-1 and-2 genes are induced transiently by LPS-stimulation;whereas ?-defensin 1-3 genes are constitutive. The induced expression of ?-defensin-1 and-2 genes show inter-individual variability.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is the most common cause for elevated liver enzymes in the developed nations.The treatment should be focused on the most important risk factors,obesity and insulin resistance.As a consequence of elucidating the pathogenesis of NAFLD,the number of potential therapeutic options increased,including weight reduction,antioxidants,insulinsensitizer,lipid lowering drugs and other liver protective drugs.The drug therapy for NAFLD was reviewed in this paper.
