Objective: To evaluate the eruption of mandible third molar in orthodontic patients with non-extraction or extraction of the lower premolars. Methods: We selected 3 group of the orthodontic patients. One group consisted of 23 subjects (12 males, 11 females, average age 13.5 years) with non-extraction. One group consisted of 23 subjects (12 males, 11 females, average age 13 years) with lower first premolar extraction. One group consisted of 21 subjects (11 males, 10 females, average age 14.07 years) with lower second premolar extraction. The panoramic radiography was taken. The lower third molar angulation and eruption space were measured before and after the orthodontic treatment. The comparison of treatment changes in 3 groups were performed by means of a paired-sample t test using SPSS 17.0 software package. Results: The RS, LS, Rratio and Lratio increased significantly after treatment in patients with lower first premolar extraction(P<0.01). The RM3 and LM3 increased(P<0.05) and RS, LS, Rratio and Lratio increased significantly(P<0.01) after treatment in patients with lower second premolar extraction(P<0.05). Conclusion: The mandibular third molars show improvement in eruption space and inclination in the orthodontic patients with lower premolar extraction.

Objective:To explore the involvement of endoplasmic reticulum molecular chaperone GRP78 in the impairment of inner ear consistented with the mimetic aging model.Method:Twenty-four Wistar rats were randomly divided into two groups. model group was in duced by daily hypodermic injection of 10% D-galactose (800 mg·kg~(-1)·d~(-1)) for 8 weeks and the control group was given saline accordingly. Spatial learning and memory was measured by Morris-Water-Maze. Colorimetry was used to analyze superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) extracted from inner ear tissue. Hearing threshold of rats were detected with Auditory brainstem response (ABR).In addition, expression of GRP78 in the inner ear was detected by immunohistochemistry,RT-PCR and Western blot. The control group was studied parallel.Result:The escape latency in the model group injected with D-galactose was markedly longer than that in the control group.accordingly ,the changes of SOD and MDA were more significant in the model group, the difference between two groups was significant(t-test,P<0.01). the variation of ABR in two groups was observed, There was no statistically difference of the hearing in the model group compared with the control group(P>0.05). The expression of GRP78 was significantly different between two groups ,which is increased in the inner ear tissue of model group(P<0.01).Conclusion:The impairment of inner ear tissue partly dued to the oxidative stress in the model, which was induced by D-galactose.and endoplasmic reticulum molecular chaperone was thought to contribute to the impairment mechanism of inner ear in mimetic aging model.

To study the compatible mechanisms and compatible proportion of Shaoyao Gancao decoction, the intestinal absorption of main ingredients in Shaoyao Gancao decoction SG11 (Baishao-Zhigancao 1: 1) , SG31 (Baishao-Zhigancao 3: 1), Baishao water decoction S and Zhigancao (G) were investigated and compared using in vitro everted intestinal sac model and in situ single pass intestinal perfusion (SPIP) model. The concentration of paeoniflorin (PF), liquiritin (LQ) and mono-ammonium glycyrrhizinate (GL) in test samples and samples of intestinal sac and intestinal perfusion was determined by HPLC. The intestinal absorptive amount and absorption parameters were calculated. Results showed that in the everted intestinal sac model, three ingredients could be absorbed by duodenum, jejunum and ileum, and the absorption in the jejunum was best for all 3 ingredients. The absorption rate of three ingredients in SG11 was significantly higher than that in single decoction (P < 0.05), but had no significant difference compared with SG31. In SPIP model, the absorption rate constant K(a), the apparent absorption coefficient P(app) and the absorption rate of three ingredients in SG11 were significantly higher than those in single decoction. Parameters of PF and GL in SG11 were significantly higher than those in SG31, but had no differences of LQ. It proved that the compatibility of Baishao and Zhigancao could improve the intestinal absorption of PF, LQ and GL. The absorption of each ingredient in SG11 was better than that in SG31.

Chinese Journal of Infection Control 2018;17(3):256-259
Objective To analyze the change in isolation rates of multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs) before and after adopting plan-do-check-act (PDCA) cycle method for management of MDROs. Methods Bacterial culture specimen submission and isolation of MDROs in a tertiary first-class hospital before the implementation of PDCA cycle (January 2013-December 2014) and after implementation of PDCA cycle (January 2015-December 2016) were collected and analyzed. Results A total of 14 889 specimens were sent for detection before the implementation of PDCA cycle, 6 345 strains were isolated, 650 of which were MDROs, isolation rate of MDROs was 10. 24%; after the implementation of PDCA cycle, 17 856 specimens were sent for detection, 7 568 strains were isolated, 476 were MDROs, isolation rate of MDROs was 6.29%; difference in MDRO detection rate before and after the implementation of PDCA was statistically significant (X2=72.567, P<0.001). After Cochran-Armitage trend test, the isolation rates of MDROs in 2013-2016 showed a decreased trend (Z= - 7.8856). The amount and cost of hand hygiene products have increased. Conclusion By carrying out PDCA cycle for MDROs management, the isolation rate of MDROs in hospital is reduced. PDCA cycle management method can effectively promote the continuous quality improvement of hospital MDROs management.
