Identification of the histotype of the Wilms' tumor(WT) before operation, application of normative staging rules for WT and individualized combined therapy schedule are the main studying contents of WT' s diagnosis and therapy. Present article will review the overseas and domestic advancements of WT' s diagnosis and therapy, and provide some references for domestic doctors.

Objective: To study the right hemisphere function state of NLD children. Methods: Adapting tachistoscopic vision and Benton Revised Visual Retention Test (VRT), three groups involving 20 children each were studied. Results: Under the tachistoscopic vision, NLD children achived poorly in recognition of nonverbal stimulus; and they do worse also in VRT test, with more errors of omission and distortion. Conclusion: Compared with normal children, the function of NLD children's right hemisphere is relatively weaker.

Objective: To explore the personality traits in the people at high risk for schizophrenia.Methods: 188 individuals at high risk for schizophrenia,and 321 normal controls were assessed by Schizotypal Personality Questionnaire(SPQ).Results: The score of negative schizotypal dimension in SPQ in the individuals at high risk was higher than in the normal controls.Conclusion: The people at high risk for schizophrenia have negative schizotypal personality traits which may represent a genetic endophenotype for schizophrnia.

Recently early noni-nvasive diagnostic techniques of bladder tumor are the hot resear- ches,which is significantly important for guiding clinical therapy and prognosis.This article will review the advancements of noninvasive diagnosis of bladder tumor in recent years and compare the new develop- ments with traditional exfoliative cytology test of urine,typical cystoscopy and improved cystoscopy.

Ebola virus (EBOV) and Marburg virus (MARV) belong to the family Filoviridae. Filoviruses cause severe filovirus hemorrhagic fever (FHF) in humans, with high case fatality rates, and represent potential agents for bioterrorism and biological weapons. It is necessary to keep surveillance of filoviruses, even though there is no report of their isolation and patients in China so far. To characterize MARV morphology, the Lake Victoria marburgvirus--Leiden was stained negatively and observed under a transmission electron microscope which is one of important detection methods for filoviruses in emergencies and bioterrorism. MARV showed pleomorphism, with filamentous, rod-shaped, cobra-like, spherical, and branch-shaped particles of uniform diameter but different lengths. Pleomorphism of negatively stained MARV is summarized in this article, so as to provide useful information for possible electron microscopic identification of filoviruses in China.

Objective This study aimed to study the effect of intra-brachial nitroglycerin administration via the angiography catheter on radial artery spasm in transradial percutaneous coronary intervention. Methods From patients undergoing transradial percutaneous coronary intervention (TRI) and succeeding in coronary angiography (CAG), 810 patients who needed percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) (including Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty and/or stent implantation) were erolled, including 413 patients in the study group and 397 patients in the control group. When coronary angiography completed, positioned the angiography catheter over brachial artery and patients in the group received an administration of 400μg nitroglycerin via the angiography catheter. The control group received an administration of 400μg nitroglycerin via the sheath. The incidence of RAS were recored and compared. Resultes Baseline characteristics were similar between two groups. In the study group, the incidence of RAS was signiifcatively lower (18 vs. 33, P=0.021). Conclusions Intra-brachial nitroglycerin administration via the angiography catheter can prevent RAS during the insertion of guiding catheter in TRI.

Objective To study the effect of acupuncture on the ratio of CD4+ CD25+ regulatory T cells and expression of transcription factor Foxp3 in patients with septic shock.Methods Sixty-four patients with septic shock were randomly divided into two groups by using the random number table method.Acupuncture group (34 cases) was treated with both western medicine and acupuncture,and control group(30 cases) was treated with western medicine.The period of treatment was 7 days.After treatment,the ratio of CD4+ CD25+ T cells in peripheral blood was determined by flow cytometry.And the expression of Foxp3 mRNA in peripheral blood was detected by quantitative real time PCR.Results After treating for 7 days,the ratios of CD4+ CD25+ Treg cells and CD4+ CD25+ Foxp3 + Treg cells were (20.23 ± 1.12) ％ and (78.70 ± 7.65) ％ respectively in peripheral blood of the control group,which in the acupuncture groupwere (17.32 ± 0.78) ％ and (68.53 ± 8.01) ％,the differences were statistically significant between the two groups(t =2.587,2.749,all P ＜ 0.05).The levels of Foxp3 mRNA in peripheral blood were (1.21 ±0.02) and (1.02 ± 0.04) in the control group and acupuncture group,the difference was statistically significant(t =2.119,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture can adjust immune status of patients with septic shock by reducing the ratio of CD4+ CD25+ Treg cells and down-regulating the expression of Foxp3 mRNA.

Cultured human testicular tissues were grouped as follows:control group,group tracted with single dosc of human chorionic gonadotropin(hCG), group treated with double doses of hCG given at three-day-interval and group treated with multiple doses of hCG. The dose of hCG was 20kIU/L,and it was added into the medium and incubated for 24 hours. Testosterone was measured by RIA. The result indicated that all three hCG-treated groups had a testosterone secretion peak at 48-72 hours after the first dose of hCG. After the second hCG treatment given in three days interval the testosterone increased again. but its maximal rise reduced. Multiple doses of hCG given successively inhibited the response of Leydig cells to hCG stimulation.
