Doctor's degree is the highest degree for medical education.Nowadays, medical doctor candidates in more and more medical universities are requested to publish research papers in intemational journals embodied in Science Citation Index(SCI),or they can not graduate with doctor's degree. So,it is significant for medical doctor candidates to learn the related knowledge about SCI and Impact Factor(IF).

Objective To analyze the application value of MSCT enhanced scanning in diagnosis of gastrointestinal mucoca associated lymphoid tissue(MALT) lymphoma. Methods 11 cases of gastrointestinal MALT lymphomas confirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively. The clinical data and imaging features of 11 cases were analyzed, including lesion sites, morphologic features and enhancement patterns of tumors, positions of lymph nodes, involvement of extranodal site excluding gastrointestinal tract. Results For morphologic features,8 cases (72.7%) were gastrointestinal wall thickening type, among them, 5 cases occurred in the stomach and 3 cases in the intestine;3 cases (27.3%) were localized mass/nodule type, among them, 2 cases occurred in the stomach and 1 case occurred in the intestine. The sign of aneurysmal dilatation was showed in 2 cases, which occurred in the intestinal tract. There was 1 case of localized mass/nodule MALT lymphoma in the ileocecal junction with local intestinal lumen stenosis. For the manifestations of enhanced scanning,10 cases (90.9%) of tumors were moderately or obviously enhanced, 9 cases (81.8%) showed homogeneous enhancement. For the involvement of lymph nodes and other extranodal organs, regional lymph nodes were involved in 5 cases(45.5%), regional lymph nodes and distant lymph nodes were involved in 1 case(9.1%), lymph nodes of both sides of the diaphragm were involved in 1 case (9.1%), extranodal sites excluding gastrointestinal tract were involved in 2 cases (18.2%).9 cases (81.8%) were classified as stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ, 2 cases (18.2%) were classified as stage Ⅳ.Conclusion MSCT enhanced scanning can provide a reliable basis for the diagnosis and staging of gastrointestinal MALT lymphoma. The chest and abdominopelvic cavity enhanced scanning is recommended as a routine examination.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of mucosal administration of altered collagen Ⅱ(CⅡ)263-272 peptide(267Q→A,270K→A and 271G→A) on collagen induced arthritis(CIA),and to explore the mechanism of the inhibitory effect of the altered CⅡ263-272 peptide on CIA.Methods:CIA was induced in Lewis rats by immunization with bovine CⅡ.Altered CⅡ263-272 peptide was given intranasally beginning from the onset of arthritis(100 ?g/dose,daily for 5 doses and continuing every other day for other 7 doses).Wild CⅡ263-272 peptide(100 ?g/dose) or PBS was administered as controls with the same procedure.Therapeutic effects were evaluated by arthritis scores, body weight change, and joint pathologic scores. The anti-CⅡ antibody and its subtypes were measured with ELISA.The cytokines of IFN-? and IL-10 were measured with ELISA.The induction of regulatory T cells was assessed by FACS analysis of percentage of peripheral CD4+CD25+ T cells, and by real-time PCR analysis of the expression of Foxp3 and TGF-? mRNA.Results:(1) Following treatment with the altered CⅡ263-272 peptide, arthiritis scores were reduced and body weight was increased. The mean arthritis scores of rats treated with altered peptide, wild peptide and PBS were 2.50?2.43,4.50?2.23 and 6.33?2.73,respectively.The altered peptide could retard the histologic lesion of the joints.(2) The titers of anti-CⅡ antibodies IgG and IgG1 in the three groups were similar, but the IgG2a in altered peptide-treated rats decreased markedly as compared with PBS-treated rats(0.56?0.19 vs 0.95?0.29,P

OBJECTIVE To survey the antibiotic susceptibility of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and medical treatment among the aged patients suffering from underlying disease.METHODS A total of 326 strains of P.aeruginosa were isolated among the aged patients with underlying disease by sputum culture.Drug susceptibility was performed and effective antibiotic treatment was given.RESULTS Amikacin(8.0%),imipenem(12.0%) and piperacillin/tazobactam(16.0%) could be chosen. The symptom of 326 patients was alleviated after clinical treatment, while some sputum samples were found still positive.CONCLUSIONS Combined use of two kinds of medicines may produce better effects in the patients with underlying disease, who infected with P.aeruginosa, but sputum should not be emphasized to converse negative in this case.
8. Experiments that led to the first gene-edited babies: the ethical failings and the urgent need for better governance
Journal of Zhejiang University. Science. B 2019;20(1):32-38
The rapid developments of science and technology in China over recent decades, particularly in biomedical research, have brought forward serious challenges regarding ethical governance. Recently, Jian-kui HE, a Chinese scientist, claimed to have “created” the first gene-edited babies, designed to be naturally immune to the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The news immediately triggered widespread criticism, denouncement, and debate over the scientific and ethical legitimacy of HE’s genetic experiments. China’s guidelines and regulations have banned germline genome editing on human embryos for clinical use because of scientific and ethical concerns, in accordance with the international consensus. HE’s human experimentation has not only violated these Chinese regulations, but also breached other ethical and regulatory norms. These include questionable scientific value, unreasonable risk-benefit ratio, illegitimate ethics review, invalid informed consent, and regulatory misconduct. This series of ethical failings of HE and his team reveal the institutional failure of the current ethics governance system which largely depends on scientist’s self-regulation. The incident highlights the need for urgent improvement of ethics governance at all levels, the enforcement of technical and ethical guidelines, and the establishment of laws relating to such bioethical issues.
9. Simultaneous determination of pregabalin and preservative parabens in pregabalin oral solution by HPLC
Journal of International Pharmaceutical Research 2020;47(7):579-582
Objective: To develop an HPLC method for simultaneous determination of pregabalin, methylparaben and propylparaben in pregabalin oral solution. Methods: The analytical column was the CPACELL PAK C18 column(250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm). The mobile phase A was 25 mmol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution(previously adjusted to pH 6.7 with concentrated ammonia)and the mobile phase B was methanol. Gradient elution was carried out at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min. The detection wavelength was set at 210 nm for all analytes. The column temperature was maintained at 30℃, and the injection volume was 20 μl. Results: The linear ranges for pregabalin, methylparaben, propylparaben were 1000.45-4001.78, 65.21-260.84, and 8.17-32.68 μg/ml(all r≥0.9995), respectively. Their average recoveries were 100.17%(RSD=1.06%), 100.30%(RSD=0.56%), and 99.92%(RSD=0.28%)(n=9), respectively. Conclusion: The established HPLC method is simply operable, efficient, accurate and reproducible, which could be used for the quantitative determination of pregabalin and paraben preservatives in pregabalin oral solution.
