Objective To evaluate different measurement methods in histogram for the diffusion and perfusion parameters from intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) MR imaging of different types of uterine fibroids.Methods 63 patients with confirmed uterine fibroids (80 in total) were examined with MR imaging.3D T2WI and IVIM imaging were performed for those patients.The fibroids were classified into three types (type 1, 2, 3) on the basis of different signal intensities on T2WI according to Funaki's theory.Real diffusion coefficient (D), pseudodiffusion coefficient (D*) and perfusion fraction (f) were calculated using IVIM analysis.25%,50% and 75% of those parameters (D25,D50,D75,D*25,D*50,D*75,f25,f50 and f75) as well as mean values (Dmean,D*mean and fmean) were calculated using histogram method.ANOVA was used to compare the IVIM parameters among the three types of fibroids.Results There were 44 type 1,24 type 2 and 12 type 3 fibroids in the total of 80 fibroids.There was significant difference among all the diffusion parameters from histogram and mean values of different types of fibroids, and only one perfusion parameter D*75 value showed significant difference (P<0.05).There was no significant difference among all the f values from histogram and mean values.Conclusion Different measurements of parameters from IVIM histogram showed no added value for diffusion features in different types of fibroids compared to mean value.While the perfusion parameter D*75 value from histogram can distinguish the features of perfusion within different types of fibroids compared to mean value.

Objective To explore the immunologic changes and its immunologic mechanism in neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy(HIE).Methods T lymphocyte subpopulation, serum interleukin 2 receptor (SIL 2R), interleukin 6(IL 6), interleukin 8 (IL 8), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF ?), nitric oxide (NO), immunioglobin(Ig), complement (C 3), the percentage of RBC C 3b receptor rosette(E C 3b RR), RBC immune complex rosette ( E ICR) and cerebral artery hemodynamics was tested in newborns with HIE and normal controls. The umbilical blood samples and peripheral blood samples were obtained at the time of 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 12～14 days and 26～28 days after birth. Results Birth asphyxia and HIE were associated with under regulated immune function, which include:(1) T Cell population disorder. In HIE and control group, CD 3 +were(62?8)%vs(65?10)%,CD 4 +(39?7)% vs (46?8)%,CD 8 +(33?6)% vs (19?5)%,CD 4 +/CD 8 + ratio (1.8?0.7) vs (2.5?0.7) on 1 to 3 days after birth. There were no signficant difference in both group on 26 to 28 days after bith ). (2)The IgM and C 3 were decreased.(3)The cytokins were abnormal. (4) RI was negetively correlated with IL 6 ( r=-0.61,P

Also, the paper proposed comprehensive reform measures such as integrating teaching units , establishing Teacher Education Development Center, implementingCourse director andTeam leader system, promoting teaching model ofstudent centered and in-tegrating curriculums of basic medicine to establish course model centering on the organ and system et al, with some success.

Objective To make hiatal hernia(HH) children grow and develop well by making correct early diagnosis and reducing misdiagnosis.Methods Reviewing clinical data of 12 patients with HH,including clinical character,X-ray diagnosis,correct examination,treatment and prognosis.Results Of 12 patients,9 cases were left HH,and 3 cases were right HH.All of them had internal expectant treatment;4 of them had operation.All of them had a good prognosis.Conclusions X-ray radiograph is a chief method of diagnosis of hiatal hernia.It is important to choose a specific position properly during radiograph examination.

In this research, the zuelacmycin-producing strain Streptomyces venezuelaevar. qinlingensis RL-2 was used as original strain, the spore suspension of which was induced by UV, LiCl and the compound treatmeat (UV+LiCl) respectively. The zuelacmycin-high-yield strain UVL-108 was obtained by the treatment that the exposure time under UV irradition was 45 s and the concentration of LiCl was 0.4%. The heredity characters of mutant UVL-108 were stable in succesive six generations. The antibacterial activity and the fermentation titer of mutant UVL-108 were determinded by bidirectioned culture and mycelial linear growth respectively. The results demonstrated the antibaterial activity of mutant UVL-108 was improved by 77%, and the relative toxicity of fermentation to Phyricularia grisea was improved by two times compared with the original strain.

Objective To explore the feasibility of using portable γ spectrometer to rapidly identify the low activity of depleted uranium and the underlying conditions.Methods Firstly,high purity germanium (Ge) γ spectrometer was used to analyze energy spectrum of DU samples (5 g) and calculate nuclide percentage of 235U in an attempt to ascertain the properties of these DU samples.The portable γ spectrometer was used to provide the evidences for identification of DU samples.Secondly,portable γ spectrometer was also used to identify DU samples of same group.These samples contain 1 g DU powder and 0-5 g environmental clay powder,which were sealed with double layer pocket,and then detected with a distance of 1-5 cm during the longest detection time of 10 min.According to the detection of nuclide activity of 238U and 235U in the samples and the subsequent calculation of specific activity,the nuclide percentage composition was calculated and the existence of DU was confirmed if this value of 235U was less than 0.718％.Results The activity of 238U was detected using portable γ spectrometer under all test conditions,while the activity of 235U was detectable only under certain test conditions (MA ≥ 1 g,DN ≤ 1 cm).Under the condition that the 238U and 235U was both detected,the nuclide percentage of 235U was all less than 0.718％,which suggested that the DU was confirmed.Conclusions The energy spectrum of low activity of DU and the type of nuclide could rapidly be identified and evaluated by using portable γ spectrometer.This is same as the conclusions obtained with high purity Ge γ spectrometer,α spectrometer and ICP-MS.

To study the cost-effectiveness of temozolomide combined with radiotherapy in the treatment of glioblasto-ma. Methods:According to the clinical trial data, cost-effectiveness and sensitivity of the results was analyzed based on the domestic cost and consumption level. Results:Temozolomide combined with radiotherapy could prolong one month of overall survival with the additional cost of RMB 58 959. 7 yuan in each case when compared with radiotherapy alone. Conclusion:Temozolomide combined with radiotherapy has no advantage on cost-effectiveness when compared with radiotherapy alone.

Objective To study the function of human chorionie gonadotrophin(HCG) in adjus-ting the vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in rabbit phallus with hypospadias. Methods Rabbit hypospadias mode was made by Finasteride. After the spontaneous delivery, 35 rabbits were divided into 5 groups with 7 in each group. Four groups accepted HCG intramuscular injection for 7 consecutive days with dosages of 100,200,400 and 600 U, respectively. The control group accepted the same dosage of saline injection. Another 7 normal rabbits were used as normal controls without in-tervention. After 3 weeks, the rabbit phallus tissue was collected and the VEGF levels were detected by ELISA. Results Rabbits with hypospadias accepted HCG 100, 200, 400, 600 U injection had the phallus tissue VEGF level of 5.00±2.37,5.63±1.73, 10.35±2.34 and 16.91±2.34 pg/ml, respectively. While the rabbits accepted saline injection had VEGF levels of 3.99±1.19 pg/ml. The normal rabbit phallus tissue contained VEGF level of 14.82±3.32 pg/ml. There were significant differences between normal group and the rabbits accepted HCG 100, 200, 400 U injection (P＜ 0.05), but there was no difference with the rabbits accepted HCG 600 U injection (P＞0.05). The VEGF level in rabbits accepted 400 U HCG injection had significant difference with rabbits accepted 100, 200, 600 U HCG (P＜0.05). The VEGF levels in rabbits accepted 100, 200 U HCG injection had no difference with rabbits accepted saline injection(P＞0.05). Conclusions The VEGF in rabbit phallus with hypospadias is decreased. HCG of certain dosage could increase VEGF level in rabbit phallus with hypospadias.

AIM: To analyze the clinical efficacy and complications of titanium mini plate internal fixation and reconstructive surgery for patients with orbital fracture.
METHODS: Fifty - seven cases (60 eyes) with orbital fracture from March 2013 to April 2014 in our hospital were researched. According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into observation group (29 cases with 30 eyes) and control group (28 cases with 30 eyes ). The control group was treated with hydroxyapatite artificial bone plate for internal fixation, and the observation group with titanium mini plate internal fixation and reconstructive surgery. The diplopia grading, grading of ocular movement disorder before and at 1, 3mo after treatment and postoperative complications ( prolapse, dislocation, infection ) were compared between the two groups.
RESULTS: In both group, all the 60 eyes were healed without scar formation. The rate of diplopia grading as grade 0 1mo postoperatively of observation group and the control groups were 63% and 40% ( P < 0. 05); diplopia grading 3mo postoperatively and the eye movement barrier obstructs 1 and 3mo postoperatively of observation group were better than those of the control group ( P <0. 05). The adverse reaction rate of observation group and control group were 3% and 20% (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: The clinical curative effect of titanium mini plate internal fixation and reconstructive surgery has a good effect for orbital fractures, which can improve the therapeutic effect and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
