1.Development of regulation strategy questionnaire of sea-going seafarers' negative emotion

Objective To study the negative emotion regulation of sea-going seafarers,establish a regulation strategy questionnaire of sea-going seafarers' negative emotion and examine its reliability and validity.Methods Based on open-ended questionnaires and previous researches,the initial questionnaire was obtained.Randomly selected 188 sea-going seafarers,by adopting program analysis and factor analysis,the final questionnaire was determined.Tested 121 sea-going seafarers by using the final questionnaire,while 55 of them by using coping style questionnaire at the same time.After two weeks,47 of them were tested by final questionnaire again.The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were investigated during the research,and the criterion validity between the coping style questionnaire and regulation strategy questionnaire of sea-going seafarers' negative emotion was also studied.Results The factor analysis results showed that the questionnaire was composed of seeking for support,abreaction,inobservance,transfer and oppression.Cronbach α of each factors was 0.857,0.841,0.825,0.806,0.754 respectively;and Cronbach o of the entire questionnaire was 0.873.The split-half correlation coefficients were 0.697,-0.839 (P < 0.01) ; test-retest reliability coefficients were 0.706,-0.822 (P < 0.01).The correlation between subscales were-0.031,-0.459 ; and the correlation between subscales and total scale were 0.590,-0.806 (P < 0.01).Criterion validity showed that despite for the abreaction,each factor was significantly correlated with the factors of coping style questionnaire.Conclusion The sea-going seafarers' negative emotion regulation strategy questionnaire has acceptable psychometrics properties on reliability and validity.
2.Experimental Studies on the Effect of“Liver-Softening Anti-Fibrotic Decoction”on Active and Inactive Fibrotic Rats

Liver-Softening Anti-Fibrotic Decoction", a preparation consisted mainly of medicinal qerbs with touifying "Qi", flourishing"Yin", activating blood and eliminating stasis, was given by gavage to Dimethyl nitrosamine (DMN) induced fibrotic rat to assess its effect on ative and inactive liver fibrosis. It was found that this preparation, besides its promoting growth aud protein metabolism activeties, can also lower serum alkaline phosphatase, decrease serum hyaluronate and liver hydroxy proline, with a better curative effect on experimental liver fibrosis in rats than its prophylactic effect
3.Study on the method of decoloration for immunohistochemical HE slides

Objective To explore the different methods of decoloration for immunohistochemical HE slides,and their influence on tissue antigen expression.Methods Antigen retrieval solution (EDTA or citric acid solution) was used in immunohistochemistry to decolor HE slides,and was compared with the method of hydrochloric acid solution decoloration in normal temperature.Results Antigen heat retrieval decolors completely.Compared with other methods,it has shorter decoloration time (1 ~ 2min),more than 90% of completely decoloration rate,the difference was significant(x2 =27.6,23.9,all P < 0.01).Meanwhile,the method dose not damage slides,and the immunohistoehemical results are exact,without background coloring and unusual coloring,antigen expression rate and intensity are high.Conclusion Antigen heat retrieval decoloration not only simplifies the coloration process,but also protects tissue antigen activity better.It is the preferable method of decoloration and protecting antigen resource,which possesses some practical value in the pathology diagnosis.
4.Biological role of β-arrestin1 in human gastric cancer BGC-823 cells

Objective To investigate the effects of β-arrestin1 on proliferation,migration,invasion and apoptosis of human gastric cancer BGC-823 cell line.Methods The expression of β-arrestin1 in human gastric epithelial cell line GES,human gastric cancer cell line BGC-823,MKN-28 and SGC-7901 was detected by realtime-polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and Western blot.The stable β- arrestin1 and negative control interfered BGC-823 cell line were established by RNA interference technology.The cell proliferation,migration,invasion and cell apoptosis of β-arrestin1 stable interfered BGC-823 cell line was examined by cell counting,scratch test,Transwell chamber test and flow cytometry assays.The data were analyzed by t test.Results The expression of β-arrestin1 in cell line GES,MKN-28,SGC-7901 and BGC-823 was 0.001 ± 0.001,0.002 ± 0.000,0.003± 0.002 and 0.005 ± 0.000 respectively.The inhibition ratio of proliferation in β-arrestin1 interfered BGC-823 cells and negative control cells were -30.2 % and 100.0 %.The invasion ability was also inhibited,the number of migratory cells was 126.25±3.24 and 213.50±6.27 (t=0.000,P<0.01),and the apoptosis rate was (41.350±1.053)% and (11.497±0.589) % (t=0.015,P<0.05).Conclusions β-arrestin1 is highly expressed in gastric carcinoma,and the expression increased along with the malignancy degree.The cell proliferation,migration and invasion is inhibited by interference of β-arrestin1 in BGC-823 cells,while the cell apoptosis is promoted.

Pharmacokinetic analysis has attracted more and more attentions in the research field of bioactive natural product. However, there is limited study on the pharmacokinetics of polysaccharides. This paper focused on the research progresses of pharmacokinetics of polysaccharide, summarized the applications of chromatography, isotope labeling method, spectrophotometry, fluorospectrophotometry and biological assay in the analysis of polysaccharide pharmacokinetics, elucidated the behaviors of absorption, distribution, degradation and excretion of polysaccharide in experimental animals, and revealed the effects of physicochemical characteristic, administration dose and route on the pharmacokinetic properties of polysaccharide, which could be served as a reference for the related works.

7.Effects of pulmonary function training on the lung function and surgical tolerance of lung cancer patients with obstructive ventilatory defects

Objective To study the effects of pulmonary function training on the lung function and surgical tolerance of lung cancer patients with different degrees of obstructive ventilatory defect.Methods Pulnonary function training was performed with 103 lung cancer patients with obstructive ventilatory defects (26 mild cases,53 moderate cases,24 severe cases).The duration of the intensive training was 5-7 days.Vital capacity (VC),vital capacity percentage (VC%),forced vital capacity (FVC),forced vital capacity percentage (FVC%),forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1),percentage of the forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1%),maximum voluntary ventilation percentage (MVV%),peak expiratory flow percentage (PEF%),fraction of the forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1/FVC),and maximum mid-expiratory flow percentage (MMEF%) were measured before and after the training.Any postoperative complications were recorded.Results The average MMEF% improved significantly among the moderate patients after their training.Eventually 19/26 patients (73.08%) in the mild group,34/53 patients (64.15%) in the moderate group,and 8/24 patients (33.33%) in the severe group met the requirements to undergo lung operations.These were significant differences among the groups.Among those operated on,27 (44.26%) suffered from postoperative complications,a significantly higher percentage than among the normal controls (20.00%).Conclusion Lung function exercises can improve the operation tolerance of lung cancer patients with obstructive ventilation dysfunction,but the risk of operating is still much higher than for patients with normal ventilation function.
8.Study on plasma von Willebrand factor in the prediction of risk of ischemic events in patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass graft

Objective To study the variation characteristics of plasma von Willebrand factor antigen (vWF Ag) after the off-pump coronary artery bypass graft (OPCAB) and its predictive value on the assessment of cardiovascular ischemia events in the postoperative patients.Methods A total of 338 patients with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction were selected from 2010 to 2012 in this retrospective cohort study,with 249 males and 89 females and a mean age of (69.2 ± 4.5) years.The level of vWF Ag was assayed by the IL ACL-TOP 700 blood coagulation instrument.Receiver-operator curve (ROC) analysis of vWF Ag levels in the prediction of risk of ischemic events was performed.x2 test and Logistic regression were conducted to analyze the relevance between vWF Ag and clinical pathological factors.Cox regression analysis model were used to evaluate the effect on prognosis.Results There was significant difference in vWF Ag level at different time point between the poor recovery group and the stable disease group (x2 =129.53 and 101.48 respectively,both P<0.01).And the vWF Ag level was higher in the poor recovery group on the 14th,30th,60th,90th day after OPCAB than in the stable disease group at the same time points respectively (all P<0.05).The optimum cut-off point of vWF Ag (the 30th day after OPCAB) for prediction of ischemic events was 251 % within the 31-90th day after OPCAB,the area under ROC curve was 0.839 (95% confidence interval:0.776-0.902).The Logistic regression analysis showed that the vWF Ag level on 30th day after OPCAB was affected by age,left ventricular ejection fraction,left main artery disease,serum creatinine level,vascular number of bypass grafts,history of myocardial infarction and hypertension (all P<0.01).The Cox analysis showed that the cut-off value of vWF Ag (on the 30th day after OPCAB) was the independent prognostic assessment parameter for ischemic events in patients with cardiovascular diseases within one year.Conclusions The variation of serum vWF Ag level can reflect the integrated influence of multiple pathological factors on vascular endothelial function after the OPCAB,it can become the effective predictor for disease progression within 90 days and the long-term prognosis after OPCAB.
9.Aspirin Resistance and Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting

Objective:To assess aspirin efficacy in the early postoperative period following off-pump coronary artery bypass(OPCAB)surgery.Methods:Sixty patients undergoing OPCAB surgery were enrolled in the study.Previous aspirin treatment Was terminated 5-7 days before OPCAB and continued to take at the day with food intake after surgery.The functional and biochemical responses to aspirin were evaluated by arachidonie acid (ARA)-induced platelet aggregation.Samples were collected before and on days 1,4 and 10 after aspirin intake(100 mg/d).Results:There were 17 patients(28.3%),9 patients (15%)and 2 patients(3.3%)with aspirin resistance on day 1,4 and 10 of aspirin intake.The overall levels of platelet aggregation(%)were 63(52,70),13(11,22),12(10,14),and 12(11,14)before the surgery and on day 1,4 and 10 of aspirin intake.The level was stable from the 4th day after aspirin intake.It was found that aspirin resistance was not an independent risk factor for the operation.Conclusion:Aspirin did not sufficiently inhibit platelet aggregation at the early stage after OPCAB.It is important to keep potential anti-coagulation therapy in the early postoperative period.
10.Investigation of the current state of pension security for rural doctors in several provinces

Objectives: To investigate the current state of pension security for rural doctors in 12 provinces those have not introduced related policies. Methods:Two counties were chosen in each province. Data was analyzed in terms of coverage, types and intention of pension security for rural doctors in these areas. Results:The study found that the proportion of rural doctors with pension security was 81. 4% in these areas. 57. 1% of rural doctors with pen-sion security had urban and rural pension insurance. Differences exist among these areas. The safeguard level is too low, and the willingness of rural doctors to attend to pension security is not strong enough. Results:The mechanism of pension security for rural doctors must be improved. These areas should implement classified guidance and syn-chronize various models to solve the problem of pension security for rural doctors.
