Allergy increasingly threatens human health. At present, the molecular mechanisms of allergy have been one of the hot topics. It is believed that genetic factor and environmental factor play important roles in allergy. It is not surprising that particular HLA (human leukocyte antigen) class II alleles have been implicated in susceptility to allergic diseases and in restriction of the IgE responses to a variety of allergens. It will provide an original measure if the correlation between allergy and HLA genetic polymorphism was illuminated.

Objective To investigate the potential mechanisms of vascular dementia (VD) by comparing the neuroethological and pathological changes of two VD models, established with spontaneously hypertensive rat (SHR) and the rat, of which the bilateral carotid arteries were ligated. Methods Ten male SHRs were employed and defined as hypertension control group. Thirty male Wistar rats were randomly assigned to operation group (bilateral carotid arteries were ligated), sham group and control group. All rats enrolled in the operation group were undergone a permanent ligation of bilateral carotid artery (2-VO). The memory function of rats was estimated by the mean escape latency of Morris water maze. The morphological changes of neuron cells in the frontal lobe, temporal lobes, hippocampus and thalami were observed with HE staining, while the changes of white matter around cerebral ventricles were checked with LFB staining, and the demyelination of nerve was calculated. Results The memory function of rats in SHR control group and Wistar operation group was decreased compared with that of the rats in sham group and control group (P0.05). Conclusions SHRs without intervention and Wistar rats undergone 2-VO can be used to reproduce the ideal VD model. Both chronic permanent hypoperfusion and hypertension may lead to the loss of neurons and myelin which may result in memory dysfunction. Hypoperfusion is even more harmful than hypertension. The present study suggests that loss of neurons and myelin may play a role in the VD.

Objective An analytical approach has been developed for determination of sildenafil blood with high performance liquid chromatography.Methods Sildenafil was extracted by solid phase extraction cartridges from blood and was separated by resered-phase gradient chromatography with DAD detection at 230nm.The analytical column was Nova-pak C18(150×3.9mm),5.0μm and the guard column was Phenomenex C18(ODS,4.0×3.0mm,Octadecyl).The mobile phase Was gradient mixture of acetonitrile(A) and 0.25% acetonitrile aqueous solution including 0.06% trifluoroacetic acid and 0.06% triethylamine (B).Results Linearity Was checked over the concentration range 1.5～80.0μg/mL.Limits of detection was 5.0ng.Average recovery was 82.45%.Conclusion This method issimple.exact and rapid.

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of compositive treatment on cerebral palsy children with rapid acupoint acupuncture at passive position.Methods37 children were treated with compositive treatment including acupoint acupuncture and physical training.Other 21 who treated with medicine were included as control.Results3 cases were cured and 33 cases were markedly effective in treatment group,which was better than that of control(P<0.05).ConclusionThe therapy composed of rapid acupoint acupuncture and physical training can significantly improve the function of children with cerebral palsy.

Objective To study the effect of solution focused theory on improving the sleep quality of ACS patients with clinical pathway.Methods 100 ACS patients with clinical pathway in Tangshan Gongren hospital from September 2010 to January 2011 were selected as study objects,and they were randomly divided into the control group(51 cases)and the intervention group(49 cases).Then the sleep quality was assessed during the first 24 hours being admitted and on the second and forth week after the intervention with the Athens Insomnia Scale(ASI).Results At the second week after intervention,4 items of the ASI Score of the observation group were different from the control group significantly.The 4 items were nighttime sleep disruption,waking up early,evaluation of total sleep quality,effect on the day of emotion.On the forth week after intervention,only the item of effects on daytime function was not different from the control group significantly,the scores of other 7 items were significantly different from those of the observation group.Conclusions The effect of solution focused theory in improving the sleep quality of ACS patients with clinical pathway is significant,and it plays an active role in improving the state of disease.

Objective To prospectively investigate the characteristics and correlative influential factors for the changes in pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH)in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients without end-stage renal disease.Methods Complete clinical and laboratory data of 133 outpatients without ESRD (CKD stage 2,3 and 4)in Beijing Hospital between January 2012 and January 2013 were retrospectively analyzed.Pulmonary artery systolic pressure(PASP)was assessed by echocardiography according to the guideline from the American Society of Echocardiography in 2010,and PASP more than 35 mmHg(1 mmHg=0.133 kPa)was diagnosed as PAH.Results PAH was found in twelve(9.0 ％) patients,including 7 females and 5 males,with mean age(82.9 ± 5.4 years).The prevalence of PAH was 2.3％,10.9％ and 17.6％ in the patients of CKD stage 2,3 and 4(P＜ 0.05) respectively.PASP could be calculated in 67 patients in whom tricuspid regurgitation was present.The mean PASP was (27.1 ± 5.4) mmHg,(31.0 ± 8.3) mmHg and (37.3 ± 13.8) mmHg in patients with CKD stage 2,3 and 4,respectively(P ＜ 0.05).Body mass index(BMI),eGFR and BUN showed significant differences between PAH group and non-PAH group with statistical significance (P＜0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that the lower BMI and the higher stage of CKD were independent risk factors for PAH (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions PAH is not a rare complication in the CKD patients without end-stage renal disease.The incidence of PAH is significantly associated with lower BMI and the higher stage of CKD.Doppler echocardiography should be performed periodically to detect PAH in CKD patients in order to improve the prognosis of these patients.
