Red cell concentrates (Hct≥90%) weresuspended in SAGS medium(RCS.contain-ing sodium chloride, adenine, glucose, sucrose),and in H(?)gman's SAGM me-dium (containing sodium chloride, adenine, glucose, mannitol). Both were stored at4?2℃ for 35 days and compared withbiochemical tests. The results of posttrans-fusion survival,ATP,2,3-DPG,pH,K~+ tests between the two preparationswere similar, and the mean values ofinvitro hemolysis of SAGS-RCS was signi-ficantly lower than that of SAGM-RCS,i。e.1.71?0.95g/L and 3.10?0.19g/L res-pectively (P

Objective To study the contraction of artery in colonic cancer. Methods Arteries in the cancer part and the cancer ambient part of patients with colonic cancer, the concentration-contractile curves induced by the noradrenaline(NA),sarafotoxin 6c(S6c) and endothelin-1(ET-1) in cumulative application were recorded by myograph. Results The E_(max) and pD_(2)of normal colonic artery contraction induced by NA were(97?19)% and(5.94)?0.17.The E_(max)and pD_(2) of contraction in colonic cancer artery was lower than that in cancer ambient artery(P0.05)).Conclusion The ?-adrenoceptor and ET_(A) receptor are main receptors mediating contraction in colonic cancer artery.

Objective To investigate the application value of CEUS combined with biopsy in qualitative diagnosis of pe ripheral pulmonary lesions. Methods A total of 158 patients with peripheral pulmonary lesions underwent percutaneous puncture biopsy.Among them,97 cases underwent CEUS before biopsy (experiment group),and 61 cases underwent conventional ultrasound (control group).Puncture times, positive rate of samples pathological diagnosis and occurrence rate of complications were compared between the two groups. The time intensity curve (TIC) was used to obtain the rise time (RT),time to peak (TTP),wash-in slope (WIS) and peak intensity (PI).The parameters of TIC between the two groups were compared. The enhanced morphology of lesions was also observed and recorded. Results The positive rate of samples pathological diagnosis was 94.85 % (92/97) in experiment group and 83.61% (51/61) in control group. The difference of the positive rate was significant between the two groups (P=0.02).In experiment and control group, the average puncture times were 2.11±0.48 and 2.20±0.44;While the occurrence rate of complications were 2.06% (2/97) and 4.91% (3/61).No significant difference was found of the average puncture times and the occurrence rate of complications between the two groups (both P>0.05).While the statistical differences of RT,PI and WIS were found between benign and malignant lesions (all P<0.05) in experiment group. And no statistical difference of TTP was found (P =0.08).Totally 77.50% (31/40) of the benign lesions showed inhomogeneous enhancement, while the proportion was 88.46% (46/52) in malignant lesions. There was no statistical difference of enhanced morphology between benign and malignant lesions (P=0.16).Conclusion CEUS is helpful in distinguishing benign and malignant peripheral pulmonary lesions. And it has great value in guiding percutaneous biopsy in peripheral pulmonary lesions.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(04):-
Objective: Accumulating evidence shows that hypertension is a chronic low-grade inflammatory disease, and inflammatory reaction is involved in the formation and progress of target-organ damage in hypertension. The authors aimed to explore the changes in the serum levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),soluble CD40 ligand(sCD40L),metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9),tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1(TIMP-1),lipid profile and left ventricular structure in patients with essential hypertension. Methods: The serum levels of IL-6,sCD40L,MMP-9 and TIMP-1,along with blood lipids were determined and echocardiography was performed to evaluate the cardiac structure and function of 158 hypertension patients and 22 age-and sex-matched controls. Results: The hypertension patients exhibited higher levels of IL-6(P

Objective To study the effect of liver transplantation using right liver lobe Ⅴ and Ⅷ segments with middle hepatic vein(MHV) and without main MHV on the regeneration of liver transplantation. Methods 25 pair of donors and receptors of liver transplantation were divided in to two groups:with M HV group (group A, n= 14) and without main MHV (group B, n=11). The volumes of Ⅴ and Ⅷ segments of liver were measured in donors presurgicaUy,half month and 3 month in receptors postsurgically, the rates of regeneration of the Ⅴ and Ⅷ segment were calculated half month and 3 months postsurgically and compared between two groups. Results In group A,the regenerate rates of the Ⅴ,Ⅷ segment were 0.360±0.043 and 0.853±0.059 half month after surgery,0.253±0.043 and 0.708±0.059 three months after surgery respectively. In group B, the regenerate rates of the Ⅴ,Ⅷ segment were 0.306±0.049 and 0.815±0.066, respectively half month after graft, 0.161±0.049 and 0.627±0.066, respectively three months after surgery. There were no statistically significant differences in regenerate rates of the Ⅴ, Ⅷ segment of graft be-tween the two groups (P= 0.685 ,P>0.05 and P= 0.738, P>0.05). Conclusion The right lobe living donor liver transplantation, maintaining the MHV or reconstruct MHV tributaries without MHV has similar effects on the regeneration of Ⅴ,Ⅷ segment of graft.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(08):-
Aim To investigate the effects of co-administration of L-Arginine (L-Arg) and aspirin (ASA) on platelet aggregation in vitro and gastric damage in vivo. Methods Citrate anti-coagulation venous blood was obtained from rabbits. The blood was centrifuged at 1 100 r?min-1 for 10 min to obtain platelet-rich plasma (PRP). 500 ?l of PRP was poured into a cuvette, and then incubated with various concentrations of L-Arg and a small dose of ASA for 5 min. Platelet aggregation was assayed with Chrono-Log platelet aggregometer by changes in light transmission of platelet suspensions. After co-administration of L-Arg and ASA for 7days to rats, gastric damages were induced by water immersion restraint stress or reserpine. Results Co-administrateion of L-Arg and a small dose of ASA strengthened the inhibitory effects on platelet aggregation. Platelet aggregation rate was 6.6% using 3 mmol?L-1 of L-Arg and small dose of ASA. Platelet aggregation rate was 93.9% using the same concentration of L-Arg alone. 1 g?kg-1 of L-Arg and 0.1 g?kg-1ofASA co-administration for 7 days, significantly reduced gastric damage induced by water immersion restraint stress on Wistar rat. Similar results were observed on other animal experiments with gastric lesions induced by reserpine. The effects of L-Arg on prevention of gastric lesion were almost same as that of famotidine. Conclusion Co-administration of L-Arg and ASA can enhance the inhibitory effects on platelet aggregation and prevent gastric damage.
