Talents constitute core resource in the development of healthcare sector. Based on the situation of the talent team in the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, the authors systematically constructed the hierarchical and classified system for talent cultivation, centering on three key areas of talent cultivation, evaluation and assessment. The authors analyzed the achievements since the implementation in 2016, namely the innovation of talent evaluation, the construction of discipline echelon, and the communication and inter-departmental cooperation. At the same time, the authors further put forward targeted suggestions to promote the development of talent teams in terms of transforming the human resource management model, increasing policy support and funding, implementing refined management, and improving talent evaluation indicators by the levels and types.

OBJECTIVE To explore the role of P38MAPK inhibitor on the soft palate reconstruction of the rats with chronic intermittent hypoxia. METHODS The animals were divided into normal control group, hypoxia control group and SB203580+hypoxia group (every group 20 rats). After 5 weeks, the expressions of p38MAPK and p-p38MAPK protein on the soft palate of the rats were detected with immunohistochemical techniques and western blot. RESULTS Compared with the normal control group, the soft palate tissue thickness of the hypoxia group were increased most obviously; Levels of p38MAPK were increased in hypoxia control group; Compared with the hypoxia control group, the levels of p-p38MAPK group were decreased in SB203580+hypoxia group. CONCLUSION p38MAPK may play important roles in the soft palate reconstruction of the rats with chronic intermittent hypoxia.

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and angiographic findings of cardiogenic shock(CS)following acute myocardial infarction(AMI) in elderly patients.Methods Between January 2015 and April 2016,we carried out a retrospective observational analysis of consecutive elderly patients in Tianjin Chest Hospital,who suffered CS-complicating AMI.Emergency angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) were performed after admission.All selected patients were divided into CS and non-CS groups according to whether CS occurred.Electrocardiograph (ECG),cardiac enzyme testing,and ultrasound cardiography were performed after admission to monitor the occurrence of CS.Results The incidence of CS-complicating AMI was 8.33％ (34/408) in elderly patients.Among all CS patients enrolled,the aged patients accounted for 91.89 ％ (3 4/3 7).In-hospital mortality rate was 2 9.41 ％ (10/3 4).There were significant differences between two groups in WBC,H s-CRP,blood glucose,CR and ALT (t =2.403,4.596,6.778,6.109,each P＜0.05).The NT-Pro BNP level,the time of FMC,the frequency of left main and multivessel disease were higher in the CS group than in the non-CS group (each P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Elderly patients are bearing high risk of CS following AMI.Prolonged FMC time and the presence of left main and/or multivessel lesion are independent risk factors for the development of CS.The optimal revascularisation strategy can improve the clinical outcome of patients with CS.

Objective To analyze monitoring results of iodized salt and distribution characteristics of problem areas with non-iodized salt in Gansu province during 2001 - 2009 and to provide a basis to develop countermeasures to iodine deficiency disorders. Methods According to the criterion of "The National Scheme of Iodized Salt Surveillance", two levels of monitoring were carried out on production and wholesale-level(during 2001 -2007) and household-level(during 2001 - 2009). Salt iodine was determined by direct titration method (GB/T13025.7-1999), and Sichuan salt or special salt was determined with an arbitration method. Criteria for qualified iodized salt was (35 ± 15)mg/kg(20 - 50 mg/kg), and for non-iodized salt was ＜ 5 mg/kg. Results During 2001 - 2007, a total of 4900 salt samples at production and wholesale-levels were examined, with a qualification rate of 97.80% (4792/4900). Non-iodized salt rates were all below 5% in Gansu province, consumption rate of qualified iodized salt was higher than 90% after 2003. During 2001 - 2009, cities(states) with non-iodized salt problems appeared 23 times, with Linxia accounting for 39.1%(9/23), Wuwei accounting for 21.7%(5/23). During 2001 -2009, counties(districts) with non-iodized salt problem appeared 123 times, including 68 times of ethnic minorities and state poverty counties, accounting for 55.3%(68/123). During 2001 - 2005 and 2006 - 2009, ethnic minorities and state poverty counties were accounting for 49.4%(44/89) and 70.6%(24/34) in counties with non-iodized salt problem. Conclusions The quality of iodized-salt at production and wholesale level is satisfactory in Gansu province, household consumption rate of qualified iodized salt have reached national standard for eliminating iodine deficiency disorders. But ethnic minorities and state poverty counties are main regions with non-iodized salt problem,these areas will be the key areas of prevention of iodine deficiency disorders in Gansu province in the future.

Objective To investigate the association between chronic kidney dysfunction and the complexity of coronary artery disease in elderly patients.Methods A prospective study was conducted on 1380 consecutive patients underwent coronary angiography for the first time in our hospital and with angiographically diagnosed coronary artery disease from January 2011 to June 2012.The complexity of coronary artery disease were classified according to the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association (ACC/AHA) grading system as types A,B1,B2,and C.Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) was calculated by the simplified Modification of Diet in Renal Disease(MDRD)equation.Patients were classified into 3 stages according to eGFR as follows:normal renalfunction(n=234,eGFR≥90 ml· min-1 · 1.73 m-2),mild renaldysfunction(n=881,60≤eGFR＜90 ml · min-1 · 1.73 m-2,and moderate or severe renaldysfunction(n=265,eGFR＜60ml · min-1 · 1.73 m-2).Ordinal logistic regression was used to analyze the association between chronic kidney dysfunction and the complexity of coronary artery disease.Results Patients with mild,moderate or severe renal dysfunction were older (F=56.82,P＜0.001),more predominantly female (x2 =66.29,P＜ 0.001) and more likely to have history of hypertension (x2 =17.57,P ＜ 0.001),diabetes (x2=20.97,P＜0.001) and hyperlipidemia (x2=10.48,P 0.005) than those with normal renal function.The percentage of lesions of types B2 or C in moderate or severe renal dysfunction group was higher than that in normal renal function group (x2=175.03,P＜0.001).The ordinal logistic regression showed that age,male,hypertension,diabetes,C-reactive protein and eGFR were independent risk factors for the ACC/AHA lesion classification.Conclusions Age,male,hypertension,diabetes,C-reactive protein and eGFR are independent risk factors for the complexity of coronary artery disease.

In order to clarify the metabolism pathways of scandoside methyl ester, the analysis of metabolites profiling in four kinds of liver microsomes was performed by using an ultra-performance liquid chromatography/ electrospray-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-ESI-MS). The data obtained from the 0 h-incubation and the 2 h-incubation were compared and analyzed. After incubation, 5 metabolites of scandoside methyl ester were found in rat, Beagles, rhesus monkey and human liver microsome. The results showed that scandoside methyl ester's major metabolic pathway in the liver microsomes is hydrolysis, oxidation and reduction reactions, and there are certain kinds differences between species. The study provides a research base for further research about iridoid compounds in vivo metabolic pathways.

To identify the active components in Bufo melanostictus Schneider and clarify the difference between fresh and dried Venenum Bufonis, a UPLC-Orbitrap MS method has been established. The separation was performed with gradient elution of acetonitrile and water (with 0.1% formic acid) as mobile phase. By comparing their retention time and high resolution mass data of Venenum Bufonis extracts, 39 effective components were primarily identified by MS/MS analysis in positive ion mode. Twenty-six of them were bufadienolides. There were significant differences in the main composition between fresh and dried Venenum Bufonis. There are fewer bufadienolides in fresh toad venom.

Objective To study the features of CT and MRI diagnosis of intracranial germ cell tumors ,and to improve the un-derstanding of its imaging findings .Methods Fifteen cases of intracranial germ cell tumors proved by pathology and follow-up were retrospectively analyzed .Results Among the 15 cases with intracranial germ cell tumors ,9 cases in pineal body , tumours showed like-round masses,the margin of the masses were well defined .CT was slightly high density,MRI revealed isointense or hypointense signals on T1 weighted and homogeneous hyperintense signals on T 2 weighted image without edema around tumors and homogeneous en-hancement.One cases in CSF spread.Four cases were identified in the saddle-up area, among the 2 cases was cystic,1 cases was sol-id-cystic and 1 cases was solid,CT was isointense or high density in solid,low density in cystic,without edema around tumors.MRI re-vealed slight-hypointense signals on T 1 weighted and hyperintense signals on T 2 weighted image clearly enhanced in solid , cystoid with-out enhance .In the other 2 cases of intracranial germ cell tumors in the basal ganglia region ,CT was inhomogeneous high density ,inho-mogeneous signals on T2 and T1 weighted image, inhomogeneous enhancement .Conclusions Intracranial germ cell tumors show char-acteristic manifestations on CT and MRI,according to location,shape,signal,age characteristic,which is helpful in diagnosis and differ-ential diagnosis and guide treatment plan .
