Objective To investigate the clinical effect of 153 Sm-EDTMP treatment on pain palliation in the patients with bone metastasis of lung cancer, breast cancer or prostate cancer. Methods 166 patients with bone metastasis of cancers were intravenously injected 18.5～37 MBq/kg (0.5～1.0 mCi/kg ) body weight of 153 Sm-EDTMP, once a month or two months. Results The effective rate of pain palliation of 153 Sm-EDTMP treating bone metastasis of lung cancer, preast cancer and prostate cancer were 68.5%, 89.3% and 100%, respectively. Objective To review the study of noninvasive imaging methods for evaluating liver fibrosis.Meth- ods The current literatures on the use of the ultrasonography,CT and MRI for the evaluation of liver fibrosis were reviewed.The principles,applications and advancement of each imaging methods were described and summarized re- spectively.The features of the newly developed imaging techniques were also discussed.Results In addition to the morphologic information,the imaging examinations can also provide functional information about the circulation sta- tus,diffusion and metabolism features of liver.The potential diagnostic value of MR elastography for liver fibrosis has been addressed.Conclusion The imaging examinations,especially the functional MRI techniques,are reliable noninvasive alternatives for the evaluation of hepatic fibrosis,with bright potentiality for clinical application.

Objective To explore the changes of serum leptin level in patients with diabetic microangiopathy.Methods A total of 90 subjects were assigned to three groups which included 30 healthy controls,30 diabetic patients without microangiopathy and 30 patients with diabetic microangiopathy.The studing groups were matched for sex and BMI.The level of serum leptin ,ⅣC,insulin and glucose of these patients were measured,and the correlation between serum leptin level and other indexes was analyzed.Results The level of serum leptin in controls,diabetic patients without microangiopathy and patients with diabetic microangiopathy were (7.20?2.11) ?g/L, (7.95?3.78)?g/L and (10.26?4.37)?g/L respectively .The patients with diabetic microangiopathy had higher serum leptin levels than in the diabetic patients without microangiopathy( t =2.18, P

OBJECTIVETo observe the therapeutic effect of a drug pair of Radix Astragali and Rehmanniae Radix combined with glucocorticoid (GC) in treating lupus nephritis (LN) patients and its influence on some experimental indices.

METHODSTotally 52 LN patients were randomly assigned to the treatment group (treated by routine Western medicine and a drug pair of Radix Astragali and Rehmanniae Radix, 25 cases) and the control group (treated by Western medicine, mainly by GC and cyclophosphamide, 27 cases). All patients received 6-month therapy. The GC dosage, the withdrawal and reduction dosage of GC, clinical efficacy, systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index (SLEDAI) score, adverse reactions, and laboratory indicators were recorded.

RESULTS(1) All patients got relieved to some degree with the dosage of GC reduced. The total withdrawal and reduction dosage of GC was slightly higher in the treatment group than in the control group [(50.23 +/- 12.43) mg vs (48.76 +/- 13.61) mg, P > 0.05]. Besides, the prednisone dosage in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, but without statistical difference (P > 0.05). The ratio of patients in need of adding prednisone for aggravating disease was 24.0%, significantly lower than that in the control group (44.44%, P < 0.05). (2) There was no statistical difference in the SLEDAI score, inflammatory indicators, liver and renal functions, blood electrolytes, blood glucose, blood and urine routines between the two groups (P > 0.05). The 24-h urinary protein count was (1.06 +/- 0.22) g/L in the treatment group, obviously lower than that in the control group (1.43 +/- 0.55 g/L, P < 0.05). (3) There was no statistical difference in the incidence rate of infection, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, psychoneuroses, Cushing's syndrome, cardiovascular anomalies, and femoral head necrosis between the two groups (P > 0.05). But the incidence of adverse reactions such as insomnia, tidal fever, spontaneous sweat, and obesity was less in the treatment group than in the control group (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONSUsing a drug pair of Radix Astragali and Rehmanniae Radix combined with GC in treating LN could withdraw the dosage of GC and relieve symptoms it induced. It was advantageous in reducing the dosage of GC and stabilizing patients' conditions.

AlM:To evaluate the efficacy of combined pranoprofen eye drops and artificial tears on the treatment of mild to moderate dry eye syndrome after trabbeculectomy.METHODS:This prospective case control study included 63 cases (63 eyes) of patients with mild to moderate dry eye syndrome after trabbeculectomy in our hospital from November 2013 to June 2013. All subjects were randomly divided into two groups. Observation group was treated with combined pranoprofen eye drops and artificial tears and control group received simple artificial tears marking the eyes at 1, 2, 4wk. The patient's symptoms, signs, BUT, S▏t, and FL were observed before treatment and 1, 2, 4wk after treatment.RESULTS: After 2wk, the symptoms of observation group were improved, there was statistically significant difference (P<0. 05). FL difference of each group was statistically significant ( P<0. 05 ); After 4wk, symptoms and signs were improved. There was statistically significant difference ( P < 0. 05 ). The BUT of the observation group and corneal FL scores of two groups showed significant differences (P<0. 05). CONCLUSlON: Artificial tears joint pranoprofen eye drops has good curative effect in the treatment of mild to moderate dry eye syndrome after trabbeculectomy.

Objective To explore the integrity of white matter changes in patients with vascular mild cognitive impairment (VaMCI)based Leukoaraiosis.Methods The patients which appeared white matter hyperintensities in subcortical were performed psychological testing,then 48 VaMCI patients and 18 without cognitive impairment volunteers(NC)were choosed and performed DTI scanning,to determine the white matter’s values of FA and ADC in the following bilaterally symmetrical regions of interest(ROI):entorhinal cortex lobe,hippocampal vault,anterior of corpus callosum,posterior of corpus callosum,inferior frontal lobe,superior temporal lobe and angular gyrus of occipital lobe. Then the differences of the data of DTI between two groups and the relevance between neuropsychological score and DTI’s data were analysed.Results ADC values were significantly higher of VaMCI group in the left inferior frontal lobe,left anterior of corpus callo-sum,left hippocampus vault and right angular gyrus compared with NC group(P <0.05),and in the left hippocampus ADC values and MoCA scores was negatively correlated(r=-0.34,P =0.02).There was no significant difference of FA values between groups. Conclusion The ADC values in many cognitive related areas was reduced in VaMCI patients.

Objective To compare the effects of different spleen-strengthening recipes on water-electrolyte metabolism and water transport in rat model of spleen-deficiency syndrome. Methods The male Wistar rats were randomly assigned into the normal group and spleen-deficiency model group. The rat model of spleen-deficiency was established by overstrain plus disordered diet method. On the 15th modeling day, the model rats were randomly assigned into model group , Buzhong Yiqi Tang(BYT) group, Si Junzi Tang(SJT) group, Shenling Baizhu San(SBS) group, and the rats except for the model group were treated with gastric gavage of the corresponding medicine in the dosage of 4.05 g·kg-1·d-1. Rats of normal group and model group were given equal volume of normal saline. The medication lasted for 14 days. On the 29th experimental day, we detected serum Na+ and K+, plasma antidiuretic hormone(ADH) and aldosterone(ALD), aquaporin 3(AQP3) in the small intestine and colon, and renal AQP2. Results Compared with the normal group, plasma ADH and ALD levels, serum Na+ level, renal AQP2 content in the model rats were increased significantly, serum K+ and AQP3 content of small intestine and colon mucosa was decreased significantly(P<0.01). Compared with the model group, plasma ADH and ALD levels, serum Na+ level, renal AQP2 content in the three medication groups were decreased significantly, serum K+level and AQP3 in the small intestine and descending colon mucosa was increased significantly(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Of the three medication groups, SBS group had lower ADH, ALD, Na+levels, and higher serum K+level and AQP3 in the small intestine and descending colon mucosa than BYT group and SJT group(P<0.01); SBS group and BYT group had lower renal AQP2 than SJT group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion Rat model with spleen-deficiency syndrome has disordered water-electrolyte metabolism and abnormal water transport. The spleen-strengthening recipes, which have the actions of strengthening spleen, strengthening spleen to drain dampness, strengthening spleen to elevate yang, can improve the disorder of water metabolism to some degrees, and SBS has the best effect.

Objective To investigate the correlation between iodine intake,BRAF mutation in thyroid gland and clinical biologic characteristics in papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC) cases.Methods A total of 159 PTC patients and 200 healthy controls were enrolled in this study.Urine iodine was tested,BRAFV600E mutation was detected by PCR.The correlation was analyzed between BRAF mutation and iodine intake,BRAF mutation and clinical biologic characteristics of PTC respectively.Results The median urinary iodine (MUI) of the patients and healthy controls was 336 μg/L and 196 μg/L respectively (P =0.004).The overall prevalence of the BRAFV600E mutation in this series of PTC was 63.5％,showing a clear correlation of BRAFV~E mutation with iodine intake (P =0.006).There was no correlation of BRAFV600E mutation with age,gender,tumor size,extrathyroid extension or nodulor goiter in PTC (P ＞ 0.05).But there was a significant association of BRAFV~E mutation with lymph node metastasis (P =0.008) and Hashimoto's thyroiditis (P =0.037).Conclusions High iodine intake may be a risk factor for PTC occurrence.In PTC cases,high iodine intake may be a risk factor of BRAFV600E mutation.BRAFV600E mutations increase both in PTC with cervical lymph node metastases and uncoexisting Hashimoto' s thyroiditis.

Objective To study the role of P53 target gene TIGAR on proliferation ,migration and invasion of lung cancer cells . Methods siRNA was introduced to knock down TIGAR in A 549 cells .Proliferation was detected by CCK-8 .The ability of migra-tion and invasion was measured by and ,respectively .was used to evaluate the expression levels of related proteins .Results Knock-down of TIGAR reduced the proliferation rate (P< 0 .05) ,inhibited the ability of migration and invasion ,decreased expression levels of MMP-2 and MM P-9 .Conclusion TIGAR promotes proliferation ,migration and invasiveness of lung cancer cells .

Objective To investigate the relation of the MR manifestations and the pathological characteristics of dissociated discherniation.Methods Characteristics of pathology and MRI of 23 cases of dissociated disc herniation were retrospectively analysed.Results Of 23 cases,the dissociated disc was low signal intensity(compared with spinal cord) on T_1WI and T_2WI with distinct margine in 7 cases,the adhere and inflammation were slight on pathology;iso-or hypo-signal intensity on T_1WI,low signal intensity in the center and slight high signal intensity at periphery on T_2WI with an distinct margine in 13 cases,while the adhere and inflammation were obvious on pathology;on T_1WI slight high signal intensity on T_1WI and iso-intensity on T_2WI in 3 cases,and fibroplasia was showed on patholgy.In the 12 cases with enhanced MRI,the lesions were slight enhancement at periphery and enhancement in the center in 7 cases,no enhancement in 3 cases,slight enhancement in 2 cases.Conclusion MRI signal characteristic can reflect pathologic changes expressly of the dissociated disc herniation.
