Objective To understand the etiology and clinical manifestation of malignant atrophic papulosis,to report the psychological care of one case with malignant atrophic papules,and patients to maintain a good psychological state.Methods Nursing measures such as strengthening skin care,reducing discomfort,avoiding aggravating the injury; attention to abdominal signs,detection of changes in disease condition,prevention of intestinal perforation,related medication education to increase medication compliance were given to this patients.Results The abdominal pain disappeared,lower limb muscle force recovered,and the patient was discharged after the disease condition was steady.Conclusions To patients with malignant atrophic papulosis,early detection and early treatment should be given to them.

Objective To study the correlation between single point pulse wave velocity (PWVβ)of different peripheral arteries and coronary artery stenosis quantity obtained by coronary arteriongraphy so as to explore the diagnostic value of PWVβin coronary heart disease.Methods We made a retrospective analysis of 183 patients receiving coronary arteriongraphy in our hospital from October 2013 to May 2014.Based on stenosis quantity of coronary artery,the patients were divided into one-vessel lesion group,double-vessel lesion group,multi-vessel lesion group,and nonstenosis as control group.Clinical data of all the patients were collected before coronary arteriongraphy.Different peripheral artery PWVβwas measured with vascular echo tracking (ET)technology for statistical analysis.Results As the lesion vessel number increased,PWVβandβvalues in three peripheral arteries presented a rising tendency.Correlation analysis indicated that PWVβvalues in the three peripheral arteries showed a positive correlation with coronary artery involvement degree.The correlation between PWVβvalue of the common carotid artery and coronary artery involvement degree was most obvious,followed by the femoral artery and the popliteal artery.The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value and Youden index of the common carotid artery PWVβvalue to diagnose coronary heart disease were 91.2%,84.5%,92.7%,81.7 and 0.76,respectively.Non-conditional multi-factor Logistic regression analysis was implemented by choosing age, sex,smoking history,hypertension history,diabetes history,hyperlipemia,BMI,HDL-C,LDL-C,TC,TG,GLU,SBP,DBP,UA,Cr,and PWVβ value as independent variables,and the degree of coronary artery disease as dependent variable.The results revealed that age,hypertension history,diabetes history,and PWVβ value were independent risk factors for coronary heart disease.Conclusion PWVβ value can be regarded as one index for observing artherosclerosis lesion degree and predicting early lesion.PWVβvalue of the common carotid artery can be an important index for dynamically observing the occurrence and development of artherosclerosis.

The known members of inhibitor of growth (ING) gene family are considered as candidate tumor suppressor genes. ING4, a novel member of ING family, is recently reported to regulate brain tumour angiogenesis through transcriptional repression of NF-?B-responsive genes, induce G2/M arrest by the increased p21 expression in a p53-dependent manner, suppress the loss of contact inhibition and represses activation of the hypoxia inducible factor, which plays an important role in the progression of tumorigenesis. However, seldom studies about ING4 inducing tumor cells apoptosis were reported.The C6 cells (mouse glioma cells) were infected respectively with the blank adenovirus carrying GFP (Ad) and the recombinated Ad-hING4-His, then RT-PCR assay was used to detect the transcriptions of hING4, as well Western-blotting assay was ued to detect the expressions of hING4. The effects of hING4 expression upon C6 cells were observed, and the growth curve was drawed and tumor control rates were calculated. The C6 cells, which were affected by blank Ad and Ad-hING4-His, were respectively observed by LSCM (laser scan confocal microscope) and transmission electron microscope (TEM), detected by flow cytometry; and the genomic DNA of both groups were extracted and electrophoresised in agarose gel to examinate the DNA fragments. The results showed hING4 can significantly inhibit the growth of C6 cells by promoting the cell’s apoptosis, which probably is the first one to prove this property of ING4.The experimental and theoretical foundation for gene therapy for gliomas with ING4 in the future was established.

Chemical genetics is the science which takes the small molecular compounds as tools to solve the genetics problems or to disturb/adjust normal biological process so as to find out protein functions. Because the small molecules have the diverse chemical characters and the ability to identify the target proteins, they also can be filtrated on the basis of phenotype. So the methods of chemical genetics have been applied in almost all of the researches on biology and medicine. In this paper, the methods to acquire small molecular compounds are introduced. The enormous progress achieved in the field of combinatorial chemistry, which has allowed the rapid production of a large number of chemically diverse molecules, is an important prerequisite to make chemical libraries available to academic researchers. And the applications of the compounds in early embryo development, cell differentiation, on-set and course of disease are discussed, too. The application of small molecules has an enormous impact on our understanding of cell biology. There are many examples where small molecules, in combination with genetic screens, have facilitated the dissection of complex cellular processes.

Dysfunction in tyrosine kinase activity disrupts the nor-mal control of cellular phosphorylation signaling pathways,which plays a vital role in genesis and development of various tumors, and makes tyrosine kinases a class of targets of many anti-tumor drugs. Currently most approved tyrosine kinase inhibitors ( TKIs) are based on irreversible binding mechanisms, making them poorly selective, not potent or sustained enough regarding pharmacological effects and prone to triggering resistance. In the past decade, much progress has been made in the development of
a new class of TKIs which irreversibly inhibit their target proteins via the formation of covalent bonds, overcoming the drawbacks of irreversible TKIs. Several irreversible TKIs have entered markets or clinical research phases. This review is to summarize the structural, pharmacological and medicinal chemical properties of investigational and marketed irreversible TKIs as well as their re-cent developments.

Objective To investigate the biocompatibility and safety of nanoscale brain-targeting-carrier micelles [poly (ethylene)-b-poly (lactic acid)/OX26 conjugate micells (copolymer/OX26)],and to explore its possibility as brain-targeted-drug carrier for brain glioma.Methods The C6 glioma cells were cultured in vitro and divided into experimental groups with different concentrations (10, 20, 40, 80 mg · L-1 )of nano micelle, and the medium without micelle was used as control group.The inhibitory effect of nano-micelles on the rat brain glioma C6 cells was examined by Trypan blue cell counting assay.Flow cytometry (FCM)was used to detect the changes of apoptosis and cell cycle of C6 cells,and confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM)was performed to analyze the distribution of copolymer/OX26 into C6 cells. Results The results of Trypan blue cell counting assay showed copolymer/OX26 didn’t affect the growth of C6 cells,and there were no significant differences in the number of C6 cells between control group and expreimental groups (P >0.05).The results of FCM showed that the cell cycle and and the apoptotic rates of C6 cells had no changes compared with control group (P > 0.05).The results of CLSM showed that the fluorescence intensities in experimental groups were higher than those in blank micelles group and blank control group (P < 0.05 ), and they were increased in dose- and time-dependent manner (P <0.05).Conclusion Copolymer/OX26 has no effect on the growth and apoptosis of glioma cells.By bonding OX26,copolymer/OX26 can significantly increase the intake of C6 cells on the nano micelles.

Objective To determinate the risk factors of gout in patients with hyperuricemia.Methods Patients detected with hyperuricemia both in epidemiological survey of Shandong coastal areas in 2004 and in health examination of our hospital were followed up for three years to observe the incidence of gout, relationship of diet and gout, and changes of biochemical indicators.Results During 3 years, 102 patients (19%) out of 536 patients with hyperuricemia developed gout. Age(OR=1.046, P＜0.05), serum uric acid(OR=1.021, P＜0.05), fasting plasma glucose(OR=1.021, P＜0.05), triglyceride(OR=1.008, P＜0.05), tony crab intake ( OR=5.992, P＜0.05),and beer intake(OR=1.012, P＜0.05) were the risk factors of gout attack in patients with hyperuricemia.Conclusions Excess intake of tony crab and beer resulting in fluctuation of serum uric acid is the main risk factor of gout in patients with hyperuricemia. Correcting metabolic disorder of glucose and lipid, reducing the intake of high-purine food, and controlling the level of serum uric acid are the measures to reduce gout attack.

Objective To explore the 15-years change in fasting TG level and the accumulative incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) from 1992 to 2007,and to assess the association between the change in TG level and the accumulative onset risk of T2DM.Methods A total of 11 387 subjects aged 35-64 years were recruited from 6 provinces in China in the baseline survey in 1992,and were followed-up for cardiovascular disease till 2007.In 2007,9184 subjects were successfully followed-up and 5966 subjects entered into the second examination.Totally 5408 participants,who were free of diabetes at baseline and had complete information for both check ups,were included in this analysis.Fasting TG levels were categorized into three groups:＜ 1.70 mmol/L,1.70-2.25 mmol/L and ≥2.26 mmol/L.The association between 15-years change in TG level and the accumulative onset risk of T2DM was assessed by logistic regression analysis.Results In 1992,the mean level of TG was 1.49 mmol/L in male and 1.26 mmol/L in female.During the 15 years,TG levels increased by 0.25 mmol/L and 0.53 mmol/L in male and female,respectively.The prevalence of elevated TG ( ＜ 1.70 mmol/L) increased from 23.4％ in 1992 to 39.0％ in 2007.The 15-year accumulative incidence of diabetes was 13.9％ in male and 11.8％ in female.The incidence rates were 10.5％,16.2％ and 26.6％ for TG levels of ＜ 1.70 mmol/L,1.70-2.25 mmol/L and ≥2.26 mmol/L,respectively.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the baseline TG level was significantly associated with the onset risk of diabetes after adjustment for other cardiovascular risk factors.At any given baseline TG level,the onset risk of diabetes increased with the TG levels in the second examination in 2007.After adjusting other risk factors,participants with the highest categories of both baseline and follow-up TG levels had 2.1 folds higher accumulative onset risk of diabetes ( RR =3.39,95％CI 2.49-4.61 ) than those with the lowest categories of both baseline and follow-up TG levels.Conclusion Baseline TG level is independently associated with diabetes onset risk,and the change of TG level in a 15-year interval predicts the onset risk of diabetes beyond the baseline TG level.
