This article introduced the development and application effect appraisal of Microbial Engineering CAI courseware for bio-engineering specialization. The courseware focuses on knowledge system integrity, content-rich and gives prominence to the key points. Pictures, animation and video, and audio effects are also utilized appropriately to achieving stimulate students interest in learning and then improve teaching and learning performance. The courseware concentrates on core content of the course, such as fermentation parameters detection and automatic control, and fermentation equipments. The courseware was manufactured using the Powerpoint software. Animation was established with Flash 4 software and the scanning pattern was edited using Adobe photoshop. And chapters of the courseware were composed and administrated using Courseware Master Software. A two-year survey showed that 85% of students satisfied with this courseware.

Objective To recommend the safety guidelines for workplace violence on health care sector according to the incidents of violence status on medical workplace.Methods A pilot study was conducted using a two-round Delphi method to study out the safety guidelines for hospital violence.Results In two subsequent rounds,the group discussed and screened out 50 entries from 51 items in the six modules as safety guidelines for hospital violence.Conclusions Establishment of safety guidelines for hospital violence on health care sector using Delphi method requires further clinical validation.

Objective To evaluate the impacts of the essential medicine system in Jiangsu Province on rational drug use in community health service centers.Methods 7667 outpatient prescriptions from 6 community health service centers in Nantong were selected by cluster sampling from January 2009 to December 2011,the part of SDUIs(Selected Drug Use Indicators)developed by WHO and the self-design indicators were employed to analyze rational use of drugs.Results After implementation of the essential medicine system,the average types of drugs per prescription decreased from 3.02 to 2.74,the rate of antibiotic drugs usage dropped from 61.43％ to 51.2％,the rate of one antibiotic usage reduced from 33.94％to 28.58％,and two types from 20.43％to 15.8％,all with significant differences(P＜0.001).The average expenses in single prescription arose from RMB 69.70 to 87.28,the rate of essential medicine usage increased from 81.22％to 85.60％,the injection utilization decreased from 31.14％ to 14.13％,while TCM utilization ascended from 16.17％to 21.8％,all with significant differences(P＜0.001).Condusion The essential medicine systems has positive impacts on rational drug use,but the expenses of per prescription are higher,and irrational antibiotic drugs are still a serious problem.

OBJECTIVE:To optimize the formula and preparation technique of oleanolic acid loaded polybutylcyanoacrylate nanocapsules(OA-PBCA-NC)by interfacial polymerization and to study its quality.METHODS:The preparation technique of OA-PBCA-NC prepared by interfacial polymerization were optimized by single factor design,and the formula was optimized by orthogonal design with entrapment ratio as index.Its shape,particle size and the entrapment ratio were investigated as well.RESULTS:The optimized dosage ratios were as follows∶ OA vs.BCA∶60mg∶0.1ml;acetic ether vs.BCA∶2.0ml∶0.1ml;and oil vs.water:1∶1.The prepared nanocapsules were round and regular in shape without adherence.The particle size was well-distributed with mean diameter at(214?8)nm and mean entrapment ratio at(76.8?0.4)%.CONCLUSION:The preparation technique of OA-PBCA-NC established in this study is stable and feasible.

Objective To determine the clinical efficacy of the combination of Aidi injection and chemotherapy in patients of advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods One hundred and twenty three patients with stage ⅢB/Ⅳ NSCLC complying with diagnosis standard were eligible.Those patients were randomly divided into treatment group (63 patients) and control group (60 patients). Both of groups received NP regimens( NVB 25 mg/m2, ivgtt, d1,d8; DDP 25 mg/m2, ivgtt, d1-3, watering). In treatment group,patients received Aidi injection (50 ml, ivgtt, d1-10) combined with NP regimens. Then some indexes were observed, including outcomes in the overall response rates, adverse drug reaction, quality of life. Results In treatment group, outcomes in the overall response rates were 50.8 %, 5 patients were completely remitted(CR),27 patients were partly remitted(PR). In control group, outcomes in the overall response rates were 35.0 %(3 CR, 18 PR). Gastrointestinal reaction and bone marrow depression of treatment group was lower than control group. Quality of life of treatment group was higher than control group. The difference was significant between two groups (P＜0.05). Conclusion This Aidi injection plus chemotherapy combination is effective against NSCLC with mild toxicities and quality of life can be improved.

Objective To find out and clarify the causes and the pathogens of vulvovagmitis in childhood girls, to determine the clinical treatment. Methods There were 345 cases of childhood girls .ranged from 18 days to 12 years, with symptoms of vulvovagini tis, and their vaginal secretions were examined by routine smear for cleaning degree, trichomonas , Candida and clue cells, gram-stain for neisseria gonorrhoeae, culture for bacteria, mycoplasma urealytium, mycoplasma hominis and chlamydia trachomatis. Results One hundred and nine pathogens were detected(31.6% of the whole cases ), including specific pathogen 70 cases(20. 3% )and non-specif ic pathogen 32 cases(9.3%). Gardnerella was detected most frequently in specific pathogen while enteric bacilli was detected most frequently in non-specific pathogen. Conclusions Non-specific vulvovaginitis is the most frequent cause in childhood vulvovagimtis, and bacterial vaginosis is the mast frequent in specific infection. Symptomatic treatment is effective, but antibiotic treatment should be based on pathogenic findings of vaginal secretions.

Objective To understand the attitude and current situation of medical English stud y as well as its relevant factors among long schooling medical students so as to provide first hand information for constructing students-centered medical English teaching model. Methods A self-de-signed questionnaire including basic information of students, attitude and current situation of medical English students was given to 134 seven or eight year program clinical medical graduates from grade 2006 to grade 2008 in Tongji University. Questionnaires were collected timely and an-alyzed with SPSS 19.0 and results were described by percentage. Results Totally 132 copies of questionnaire were recovered with an recovering rate of 98.51%. 56.82%(75/132) students had interest in medical English study and 71.97%(95/132)students had a will to go abroad for learning exchange. Main pur-poses for students to learn medical English were ‘professional literature reading’(68.94%,91/132),‘SCI papers writing’(59.09%,78/132)and ‘international communication’(58.33%, 77/132). Main influencing factors of medical English study were ‘boring teaching methods ’ ( 45 . 45%, 60/132 ) ,‘difficult medical English’(41.67%,55/132) and ‘insufficient teaching time’(40.91%,54/132).Conclusions Medical students with long schooling have demand for medical English study;however, most of them have some difficulties in practical application. Measures should be taken from three as-pects including students, teachers and curriculum setting to improve students' medical English.

Objective To explore the different operation modes for treating native renal pelvic and ureteral neoplasms occurring at the same side of transplanted kidney.Method A retrospective analysis was performed on 48 cases of native renal pelvic and ureteral neoplasms occurring at the same side of transplanted kidney,including 14 cases receiving open surgery (open surgery),22 cases receiving laparoscopic radical nephroureterectomy with bladder cuff resection through a lower abdomen oblique incision (oblique incision group) and 12 cases receiving modified endoscope assisted Plunk technique (Plunk group).The operating time,amount of bleeding and blood transfusion during operation,recovery of intestinal function,time of indwelling drainage tube and wound suture,the total cost of hospitalization,the hospital stay and the incidence of complications were comparatively analyzed.Result The operating time in open group was shortest.Group of Pluck is better than other groups in the aspects of Time of wound suture and intestinal function time in shorter in Plunk group than the rest two group (P＜0.05),and amount of bleeding and incidence of complication in Plunk group were higher than oblique incision group (P＜0.05).The incidence of complications and amount of bleeding were decreased significantly as compared with the rest groups (P＜0.05).Conclusion The mode of the laparoscopic radical nephroureterectomy with bladder cuff resection through a lower abdomen oblique incision has the advantages of high security,minimal invasion and satisfactory treatment effect.It is especially suitable for treating native renal pelvic and ureteral neoplasms occurring at the same side of transplanted kidney.
