6.Clinical observation on the treatment of breast cancer with traditional Chinese and western medicine
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2012;34(7):610-612
Objective To explore the influence of breast cancer treated with chemo-therapy and Shengxue decoction. Methods 91 Cases of breast cancer were randomly recurited into two groups:The western medicine treatment group (40 patients) was given anastrozole tablets and chemo-therapy; The Chinese and western medicine treatment group (51 patients) was given chemo-therapy and Shengxue decoction. Results The total effective rate of was 82% and 53% in the Chinese and western medicine treatment group and western medicine treatment group respectively, the difference was statistically significant (x2=19.74,P<0.05).The peripheral blood's CEA and MMP-2 mRNA expression of western medicine treatment were [ (7.50 ±4.32)ng/ml、(116.32±67.40)ng/ml respectively],higher than the Chinese and western medicine treatment group [ (7.20 ± 3.22) ng/ml、(105.08 ± 37.82) ng/ml,respectively,P< 0.05 ],but the TIMP-2/MMP-2 (26.65 ±19.75) was significantly lower compared with the Chinese and western medicine treatment group [ (39.48±21.21) (P<0.05) ].Conclusion The combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine was effective in treatment of breast cancer and well worth for popularization.
7.Curative Effect of Chuankezhi Injection Combined with Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate Powder for Inhalation in the Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
China Pharmacist 2015;(11):1938-1939,1940
Objective:To observe the efficacy of Chuankezhi injection combined with budesonide and formoterol fumarate powder for inhalation in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ( COPD) . Methods:Totally 120 patients with COPD were ran-domly divided into two groups:the observation group inhaled budesonide and formoterol fumarate powder for inhalation combined with intramuscular injection of Chuankezhi injection, and the control group inhaled budesonide and formoterol fumarate powder for inhala-tion. The treatment course was 28 days. The pulmonary function indices [ FEV1% expected value, FEV1 /FVC, 6 min walking dis-tance (6MWD)], the times of acute exacerbation and the adverse drug reactions during the treatment were observed and compared be-tween the two groups. Results:After the treatment, the lung function and 6MWD were improved in the two groups, and the improve-ment of FEV1% expected value in the treatment group was more obvious than that in the control group [(59. 7+12. 1)% vs (49. 8+11. 3)%, P<0. 05]. The number of patients with at least once of acute exacerbation was significantly reduced in the treatment group when compared with that in the control group (35% vs 62%, P<0. 01). The incidence of adverse drug reactions in the two groups showed no significant difference. Conclusion:Chuankezhi injection combined with budesonide and formoterol fumarate powder for in-halation can notably improve the lung function in the patients with COPD and reduce the times of acute exacerbation without effect on the incidence of adverse drug reactions.
8.Suppressing Function of Breast Cancer Metastasis Suppressor 1 in Breast Cancer Metastasis
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(03):-
Objective To review the recent studies on the suppressing function of breast cancer metastasis suppressor 1 (BRMS1) in breast cancer metastasis. Methods The recent literatures on the mechanisms of BRMS1 in the breast cancer that were published in and abroad were reviewed and summarized. Results BRMS1, similar to the other anti-metastasis genes, only suppresses the metastasis of breast cancer cells but has nothing to do with the growth of tumor. BRMS1 could suppress metastasis of tumor cells by reestablishing both the homospecific and the heterospecific gap junctional intercellular comminications (GJIC) and by altering the expressions of relevant metastasis genes in the breast cancer. Conclusion Further studies on BRMS1 may be helpful to understand the metastasis of breast cancer, which may provide a new way for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
9.The manifestation of children with dental disease and the relevant therapeutic ways
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(03):-
Objective: To inquire into the discrepancy in the behavior and therapeutic ways for the children at different age with dental diseases. Methods: 994 children at the age of 1~12 with dental diseases were divided into 3 groups on the base of their ages. Relevant therapeutic ways were taken according to their behavior. The influencing factors that made dental treatment finished smoothly were reached through analyzing the relationship among the children, the parents and the medical personals. Results: The manifestations of children's behavior had significant age differences when they received dental treatment. Non cooperative children constituted the majority of the infantile children, while the school age children were mostly cooperative. The ways chosen to treat children's dental diseases also had significant age differences. Compulsory means was the main way to treat infantile children and routine means to the pre school age and school age children. Inductive and threatening ways were always used for the non cooperative pre school age children. The non cooperative school age children were always received inductive means and seldom threatening and compulsory ones. The parents often accompanied with the infantile children, but did not with the pre school age and school age children. Conclusion: The age is a key factor to determine the clinical manifestations and the methods used to treat children's dental diseases.
10.Advances in Study on Toll-like Receptors and its Gene Polymorphisms in Gastric Mucosal Diseases
Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2015;(7):431-434
The development and progress of gastric mucosal diseases is a complex process associated with multiple factors and underlying mechanisms, and individuals may present different genetic susceptibilities to gastric mucosal diseases. Various studies have demonstrated a strong link between Toll-like receptors( TLRs),as pattern recognition receptors, and the development and progress of gastric mucosal diseases. The gene polymorphisms of TLRs may change its encoded proteins or related signaling pathways, which results in different susceptibilities to gastric mucosal diseases;this might affect the development, progress and clinical outcome of the disease. In this review article, the advances in study on TLRs and its gene polymorphisms in gastric mucosal diseases were summarized.
