Objective To investigate the effect of medium- and long-chain triacylglycerols on body fat accumulation in subjects with different levels of hypertriglyceridemia. Methods 112 subjects with hypertriglyceridemia were randomly divided into two groups: one group was demanded to adopt long-chain triacylglycerol (LCT) oil as their daily use and the other one to medium- and long-chain triacylglycerol (MLCT) oil for consecutive 8 weeks. Anthropometric measurements of body weight, body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), hip circumference(HC), WHR (ratio of WC/HC), triceps skinfold thickness (TSF), subscapular skinfold thickness (SSF), body fat weight, body fat percentage, total fat area, visceral and subcutaneous fat area in abdominal and concentration of blood triglycerides (TG) were measured at the initial and final time of the study. In both groups, the cutpoint of TG 2.3 mmol/L was used to distinguish the different levels of hypertriglyceridemia. Results Compared with LCT group, body weight, BMI, WC, body fat weight, total fat area, visceral and subcutaneous fat area in abdominal in those of TG≤2.3 mmol/L in MLCT group were significantly decreased (P 2.3 mmol/L between the two groups. Furthermore, the concentrations of TG in hypertriglyceridemia subjects of different levels in MLCT group were both significantly lower than those in LCT group after 8 weeks (P 2.3mmol/L.

Sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) is a lysophospholipid signaling molecule that regulates important biological functions in both intracellular and extracellular compartments. It interacts with five G protein-coupled receptors subtypes (S1PR(1-5)) to generate multiple downstream signaling. Activation of S1PR1 has been validated to be involved in the process of immune modulation. Fingolimod (FTY720), the novel S1PR1 agonist, has been approved for the treatment of multiple sclerosis in clinical trials. The study towards discovery of selective S1PR1 agonists has become hot spot for immunological diseases. This article summarized the research progress of S1PR1 agonists, emphasizing their structure types, structure-activity relationship and direction of development.

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(07):-
Pesticide played an important role in agriculture. With the increase of pesticides in recent years, they have easily gone into the aquatic environment through some ways such as rain or surface water. The residual pesticide in the water may destroy the aquatic ecosystems,do harm to the aquatic organisms and human health, now more and more attention has been paid to the situation of the pesticide pollution in the aquatic environment. This present paper introduced the type of common pesticide residues in the water in China, it also described the pesticide pollution situation in rivers, groundwater, marine and other water as well as the potential impact of pesticide on the aquatic organisms and human health,in order to provide a basis for China to carry out relative research.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Infectious Diseases 2016;9(2):156-160,167
Objective To investigate the changes of antibiotic resistance and its correlations with antibiotics use density (AUD) in intensive care unit (ICU) after implementation of antimicrobial stewardship. Methods Data on AUDs and synchronous antibiotic resistance in ICU of the Affiliated Hospital of Taishan Medical University during 2010 and 2014 were retrospectively reviewed.Autoregressive integrated moving average ( ARIMA) model was used to identify the correlation between AUDs and antibiotic resistance. Results The total AUD which stood at 163.46 DDDs· 100 person-1 · d-1 in the year 2010 decreased to 68.20 DDDs · 100 person-1 · d-1 in 2014, and the most significant decreases were found in quinolones, imidazole, carbapenems, aminoglycosides, other beta lactam and macrolides. Synchronously, a wide range of improvements in antibiotic resistance of major pathogens were also observed from 2010 to 2014, and the improvements were positively correlated with the decrease of AUDs.However, antibiotic resistance in 2014 was not significantly improved compared with that in 2013. The rate of ciprofloxacin resistance in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and the resistant rates of amikacin, imipenem, and meropenem in Acinetobacter baumannii even increased in 2014.Conclusions With the implementation of antimicrobial stewardship, antibiotic consumption in ICU was decreasing, and antibiotic resistance rate in major pathogenic bacteria was decreasing. But the rebound in antibiotic resistance in some types of bacteria was also observed and should be put on enough caution.
