Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;23(19):2915-2918
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of modified anti -tuberculosis scheme in the treatment of tuberculous meningitis. Methods 60 cases with tuberculous meningitis were randomly divided into two groups. We enrolled 30 patients in each group. The traditional anti -tuberculosis group used traditional anti -tuberculosis scheme with isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide, streptomycin, and the modified anti -tuberculosis group was given isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide, levofloxacin, the treatment course of tuberculous meningitis was 12 months. The efficacy and safety through clinical manifestations and laboratory examinations, the dynamic changes of cerebrospinal fluid were evaluated by statistical methods. Results The total effective rate of the modified anti -tuberculosis group was significantly higher than the traditional anti -tuberculosis group(86.6% vs.63.3%,χ2 =4.36,P <0.05).The cerebrospinal fluid routine and biochemical index in the modified anti -tuberculosis group were obviously superior to the traditional anti -tuberculosis group after treatment(all P <0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(26.6% vs.16.7%,χ2 =0.88,P >0.05).Conclusion Levofloxacin combined with other first -line anti -tuberculosis drugs, glucocorticoids, dehydration and other comprehensive measures improved brain function for the treatment of tuberculous meningitis is recommended.

China Oncology 2001;0(02):-
C erbB 2 is overexpressed in 20%~30% of human breast cancers, this oncoprotein plays an important role in predicting response to chemotherapy in breast cancer.Overexpression of c erbB 2 in breast cancer is associated with resistance or sensitivity to certain chemo therapeutic drugs, c erbB 2 can be expected to be a biological marker to direct chemotherapy in the treatment of breast cancer.

Objective To analyze the histopathology of patients with atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASCUS),and provide evidence for further classification and clinical treatment of ASCUS.Methods The histopathology of cervical biopsy specimens from 249 patients with ASCUS diagnosed by liquid-based cervical cytology examination was analyzed retrospectively. Results Among the 249 ASCUS patients, the proportion of patients with inflammation was 34.14% (85/249), morphological change by human papillomaviral infection was 19.28%(48/249), CIN I was 32.53%(81/249),CIN II was 8.84%(22/249),CIN III was 3.21%(8/249), infiltrating squamous cell carcinoma was 1.20%(3/249),and endometrioid adenocarcinoma was 0.80%(2/249) . Conclusion It is very important to to further definitude the diagnosis of ASCUS, because a certain proportion of cervical cancer and precancerous leisions woud be confirmed.

The therapeutic effects and mechanisms of traditional Chinese kidney-tonifying drugs in treating osteoporosis have become the focus under study. Pharmacological studies have shown that traditional Chinese kidney-tonifying drugs are promoters for the proliferation of osteoblasts, inhibitors for the activity of osteoclasts, regulators for the estrogen level and its receptor, plays important roles in promoting osteogenesis and suppressing adipogenesis of marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), modulating the function of OPG/RANK/RANKL system and the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus, as well as antioxidation. The anti-osteoporotic active ingredients and pharmacological action mechanism of traditional Chinese kidney-tonifying drugs are summarized from the perspective of molecular and cell biology in this paper, so as to provide references for the study of their mechanism of anti-osteoporosis and for the development of traditional Chinese kidney-tonifying and bone-strengthening drugs.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(1):132-135
We present the binding ability of a new peptide (CMPQVMPMC-) with dental enamel after being evaluated in the present study. Under a standard procedure, the recovery of M13 filamentous phage was greatly enhanced by displaying the peptide in phage coat protein p III. Then the cyclic peptide was synthesized using a solid method. The effect of the cyclic peptide in vitro biomineralization was tested in a single-diffusion microtiter plate gel system. Absorbance at 405 nm of each sample was recorded for 24 h at every 6 h intervals. The relatively increased values of each sample were expressed as percentages relative to the blank group (100%). The cyclic peptide resulted in a concentration-dependent delayed nucleation. In addition, the overall values of peptide groups at the end of 24 h were lower than those in the control group but much higher than those in the BSA control group.

AIM To establish a quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker(QAMS) method for the content determination of six catechins in Xinnaojian Capsules (Tablets) (tea extract).METHODS The analysis of 50% methanol extract of this drug was performed on a 35 ℃ thermostatic Shimadzu Wonda Cract ODS-2 column (4.6 mm ×250 mm,5 μm),with the mobile phase comprising of 0.5% acetic acid (A)-acetonitrile (B) flowing at 1.0 mL/min in a gradient elution manner, and the detection wavelength was set at 280 nm.With epigallocatechin gallate as an internal standard, the relative correction factors of epigallocatechin, catechin, epicatechin, gallocatechin gallate and epicatechin gallate were calculated, from which the content determination was made.RESULTS Six constituents showed good linear relationships within their own ranges (r ≥ 0.999 8),whose average recoveries were 96.00%-98.47% with the RSDs of 2.09%-2.91%.The results obtained by QAMS method approximated those obtained by external standard method.CONCLUSION This simple and reliable method can be used for the quality control of Xinnaojian Capsules (Tablets).

Objective To evaluate the effect of FOCUS- PDCA model in hypoglycemia management during hemodialysis in patients with diabetic nephropathy. Methods Totally 107 patients with diabetic nephropathy were divided into two groups. Patients in the control group received traditional hypoglycemia management, while FOCUS- PDCA model was implemented in the experimental group in hypoglycemia management, including reducing insulin dosage before hemodialysis, injecting 50%glucose and taking hyperglycemia food during hemodialysis, enhancing the monitoring of blood glucose and health education. Compared the incidence of blood glucose levels and hypoglycemia in two groups of patients at different time of dialysis. Results The frequency of hypoglycemia in the experimental group at the beginning of dialysis [ (9.04±2.08) mmol/L ], 2 hours after dialysis[ (5.78±1.82) mmol/L ]and at the end of dialysis[ (6.94±2.04) mmol/L ] were significantly lower than that in the control group[ (8.60±2.02) mmol/L, (5.20±1.62) mmol/L, (4.97±1.05) mmol/L ], (P <0.05), and the total incidence rate of hypoglycemia was 1.6%(61/3 889), which significantly lower than that 4.8%(185/3 816) in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (χ2=5.288, P < 0.05). Conclusions The application of FOCUS- PDCA model in the hypog1ycemia management of patients with diabetic nephropathy can reduced the incidence of hypoglycemia during hemodialysis. It deserves to be widely used in clinical practice to improve the patients′quality of life.
