Objective To observe the distribution features of phosphorylated p 44/42 extracellular signal-regulated kinase(p-ERK) induced by affective pain in the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) of the rat.Methods Twelve male SD rats were randomly divided into the control group (n=6) and spinal nerve ligation (SNL) group (n=6).The rats of the SNL group were exposed to unilateral L5 spinal nerve ligation (SNL) surgery.The behavior was examined by mechanical pain thresholds (MPTs) and the pain affect was measured using open-field test, elevated zero maze.The expressions of p-ERK in ACC (AP 3.2,2.7,2.2mm from Bregma) were detected with immunofluorescence test .Results In comparison with the control group , the unilateral mechanical pain threshold in the SNL group decreased significantly after operation . The operation also resulted in pronounced anxiety-like behavior .The p-ERK labelled cells in different levels of ACC ( AP 3.2,2.7,2.2mm from Bregma) of SNL rats were (11.89 ±2.57),(32 ±4.67 ) and (17.56 ±2.04 ), respectively, while the control group rats were (12.44 ±2.16),(10 ±0.87 ) and (10.11 ±1.36).These data indicated that compared with the control group, the expressions of p-ERK in ACC(AP 2.7,2.2mm from Bregma) increased significantly in the SNL group after operation(P<0.01), besides for the level of ACC(AP 3.2mm from Bregma) (P>0.05).Conclusion The results suggest that the neuropathic pain can result in anxiety-like behavior and increased expressions of p-ERK in ACC of the rat.This change may be closely related to the expressions of p-ERK in ACC(AP 2.7,2.2mm from Bregma), but not to the level of ACC(AP 3.2mm from Bregma).

Objective To explore the relationship between mechanical withdrawal threshold ( MWTs) and local cutaneous blood perfusion ( BP ) in rats with acute inflammation induced by carrageenan.Methods Twenty male Sprague-Dawley ( SD) rats were randomly divided into control and model groups.The acute inflammatory rat model was established by subcutaneously injecting with carrageenan into the left hindpaw.MWTs were measured by Dynamic Plantar Aesthesiometer 37450 before injection ( as base) of carrageenan and at 4 h, 24 h, 48 h, 72 h after carrageenan injection. The local cutaneous BP was detected by Pericam Perfusion Speckle Imager ( Pericam PSI) at the time after measuring of MWTs.The above two behaviors were compared and the relationship between them was analyzed.Results MWTs of the model group rats were decreased while BP significantly increased than that in the control group ( P<0.01 ) .The MWTs and BP in the model rats showed a negative correlation, especially the correlation index showed significant differences at 4 h and 72 h after carrageenan injection ( P<0.01) .Conclusions Carrageenan-induced acute inflammation in rats causes significant changes in mechanical pain threshold, which has a negative correlation with local cutaneous blood perfusion.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of compound azintamide enteric-coated tablet in the treatment of patients with post-cholecystectomy dyspepsia.Methods A multicentre,randomized,double-blinded,placebo-controlled trail was conducted.A total of 120 patients with post-cholecystectomy dyspepsia were divided into azintamide group (n=60) and placebo group (n＝60),taking compound azintamide enteric-coated tablet or placebo 100 mg each time,three times per day for 28 days.The score of each dyspeptic symptom (abdominal distension,loss of appetite,early satiety,belching,nausea,abdominal pain or abdominal discomfort) and total score of dyspepsia were evaluated prior to study and on the 7th,14th,21st and 28th day after treatment.The efficacy of the improvement of dyspeptic symptoms was compared between the two groups on the 28th day after treatment and the safety was evaluated.The score of the quality-of-life was compared between the two groups prior to study and on the 28th day after treatment.The t-test or chi-square test was performed for statistical analysis.Results The scores of abdominal distension,belching,nausea,abdominal pain or abdominal discomfort and the total score of azintamide group on the 7th day after treatment (5.7±3.1,3.5±2.1,0.3±0.1,3.3±1.7 and 17.9±9.6) were significantly lower than those prior to study (8.9±5.3,5.3±2.5,0.9±0.4,4.5±3.7,24.3±14.5;t=3.758,3.976,10.494,2.125 and 2.654,allP＜0.05).On the14th,21st and28thday after treatment in azintamide group,the score of each dyspeptic symptom and the total score were lower than those prior to study.The symptom of abdominal distension significantly improved on the 7th,14th,21st and 28th day after treatment in placebo group,and the score of early satiety and total score of dyspepsia were significantly lower on the 28th day after treatment compared with those before treatment.In azintamide group,the total efficacy rate was 66.7％ (40/60),which was higher than that of placebo group (38.3％,23/60) and the difference was statistically significant (x2 =9.653,P ＜ 0.01).On the 28th day after treatment,SF-NDI of azintamide group was 4.4±3.4,which was significantly lower than that of placebo group (9.6±6.0) and the difference was statistically significant (t=5.450,P＜0.01).In azintamide group there was one patient with rash on the 7th day after treatment,and in placebo group there was one patient with headache on the 14th day after treatment.The symptoms disappeared seven days after medicine withdrawal.Conclusion Compound azintamide enteric-coated tablet effectively improves dyspeptic symptoms and quality of life in patients with post-cholecysteetomy dyspepsia and has good safety.

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of compound azintamide enteric‐coated tablets in the treatment of patients with dyspepsia after gastrointestinal surgery .Methods Multicenter , randomized ,double blind ,placebo‐controlled ,parallel controlled method w as applied .From January 2011 to January 2013 , of 240 patients with dyspepsia after gastrointestinal surgery from 12 hospitals in Shanghai were enrolled and divided into medicine treatment group (n= 120) and placebo control group (n= 120 ) ,received compound azintamide enteric‐coated tablets or placebo , respectively . Compound azintamide enteric‐coated tablet (100 mg) or placebo was oral taken each time ,three times per day for four weeks .Total and respective score of dyspeptic symptoms (abdominal distension ,loss of appetite ,early satiety ,belching ,nausea ,abdominal pain or abdominal discomfort) were evaluated prior to study and on the 1st , 2nd , 3rd and 4th week after treatment . On the 4th week after treatment ,the efficacy of the improvement of dyspeptic symptoms was compared between the two groups ,and the safety was also evaluated .The score of the quality‐of‐life was compared between the two groups prior to study and on the 4thweek after treatment .The t‐test was performed for comparison between measurement data ,Chi‐square test was used for count data ,and rank sum test was used for rank data .Results At one week after treatment ,the scores of abdominal distension (4 .61 ± 0 .98 ) ,early satiety (2 .87 ± 0 .64 ) ,belching (3 .03 ± 0 .58) ,abdominal pain or abdominal discomfort (3 .13 ± 0 .79) and total score (18 .32 ± 3 .44) of patients in medicine treatment group were significantly lower than those of placebo control group (8 .83 ± 1 .28、4 .28 ± 0 .61、4 .87 ± 1 .07、5 .46 ± 0 .87、29 .63 ± 5 .50) ,and the differences were statistically significant (t=28 .524、17 .400、16 .453、21 .619 and 18 .983 ,all P< 0 .01 ) . However there was no significant difference in the scores of loss of appetite and nausea (both P> 0 .05) .At 2nd ,3rd and 4th week after treatment ,respective score of dyspeptic symptoms and total score of medicine treatment group (2nd week:2.57±1.28,1.87±1.17,1.55±1.27,1.55±1.08,1.09±0.82,1.98±1.02,10.53±4.54,3rdweek:1 .42 ± 0 .60 ,1 .11 ± 0 .45 ,0 .94 ± 0 .37 ,0 .94 ± 0 .41 ,0 .79 ± 0 .31 ,1 .42 ± 0 .55 ,6 .52 ± 2 .41 ,4th w eek:1.13±0.51,0.46±0.12,0.58±0.13,0.38±0.16,0.30±0.07,0.81±0.33,3.65±1.06)wereall significantly lower than those of placebo control group (2nd week:8 .50 ± 2 .61 ,3 .78 ± 2 .01 ,4 .08 ± 2 .14 , 4.73±2.64,2.27±2.13,4.91±2.24,28.25±8.86,3rdweek:7.92±2.51,3.68±1.76,4.08±1.86, 4.71±1.77,2.14±0.83,5.01±1.31,27.54±8.09,4th week:7.63±2.37,3.67±1.63,3.92±2.08, 4 .66 ± 2 .95 ,2 .14 ± 1 .65 ,4 .67 ± 2 .34 ,and 26 .68 ± 7 .45) ,and the differences were statistically significant (all t=0 .000 ,all P<0 .01) .At 4th week after treatment ,the total efficacy of total score improvement of dyspepsia symptoms in medicine treatment group was 86 .21% (100/116) ,which was significantly better than that of placebo control group (39 .16% (47/120)) ,and the difference was statistically significant (Z=9 .464 ,P<0 .01) .The total score of quality of life in medicine treatment group was significantly lower than that of placebo control group (12 .24 ± 4 .30 and 22 .13 ± 6 .18) ,and the difference was statistically significant (t=14 .225 , P< 0 .01 ) .No adverse events was observed in both groups during treatment period . Conclusion Compound azintamide enteric‐coated tablets may effectively improve dyspeptic symptoms and quality of life in patients with dyspepsia after gastrointestinal surgery ,and with good safety .

Objective:To establish a method for the determination of baicalin in Kang 601 mixture. Methods:An HPLC method was adopted. An Agilent Eclipse Plus-C18 column (250 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5 μm) was used at room temperature (25 ℃) and eluted by methanol-0. 1% phosphoric acid solution(48:52) with a flow rate of 0. 8 ml·min-1 . The detection wavelength was 280 nm and the injection volume was 20 μl. Results:A good linear relationship was obtained between the peak area and the concentration of baicalin within the range of 18. 897-188. 975 μg·ml-1(r=0. 999 9). The average recovery was 99. 86%(RSD=0. 32%, n=9). Conclu-sion:The established method is specific, accurate and reproducible, which can be used for the determination of baicalin in Kang 601 mixture.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture in treating severe functional constipation. Method Seventy patients with severe functional constipation were randomized into a treatment group (35 cases) and a control group (35 cases). The treatment group was intervened by deeply needling bilateral Tianshu (ST25) and Fujie (SP14) with electrical stimulation in addition to ordinary acupuncture at bilateral Shangjuxu (ST37);the control group was by superficially needling the areas beside bilateral Tianshu, Fujie and Shangjuxu with sham electroacupuncture. The two groups were both treated for successive 8 weeks and were followed up for another 3 months. The complete spontaneous bowel movements (CSBMs), Bristol stool form Scale (BSFS) and difficulty in bowel movements were observed every week. Result The two groups both showed significant improvements in average weekly CSBMs (P<0.05,P<0.01), and the CSBMs at the end of the treatment were better in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05); the two groups were both effective in improving BSFS and difficulty in bowel movements, without significant between-group differences(P>0.05). Conclusion Electroacupuncture can improve CSBMs in severe functional constipation, but it’s insignificantly different from sham acupuncture in improving stool form and defecation difficulty.

Background The accurate calculation of intraocular lens (IOL) power is essential for attaining the desired refractive outcome after cataract surgery,especially for patients with high myopia and posterior scleral staphyloma.Objective This study was to evaluate the clinical feasibility of IOL Master compared with contact A-scan in cataract patients with high myopia and posterior scleral staphyloma,then compare the accuracy of different IOL power calculation formulas.Methods This was a prospective case control clinical research.Fourty-one eyes with age-related cataract of 28 patients underwent phacoemulsification with monofocal foldable IOL implantation in Tianjin Medical University Eye Hospital were involved,who were all high myopia with posterior scleral staphyloma.Preoperative measurement was measured with IOL Master as well as with contact A-scan and manual keratometry.IOL power was calculated according to the SRK-Ⅱ,SRK-T,Haigis,Hoffer Q,Holladay 1 formulas.The refractive outcome was followed-up 3 months after operation.Results The difference was significant between the 2 methods in axial length (AL) and anterior chamber depth (ACD) measurement (P =0.005,0.000) ; In corneal curvature measurement,there was no significant difference between them (P =0.398).When mean absolute refractive error (MAE) was divided by ±1.00 D,The SRK/T and Haigis formula performed better than other formulas measured by IOL Master;The Holladay 1,Hoffer Q and Haigis formula performed better than other formulas measured by contact A-scan combined with manual keratometry,respectively.Conclusions For cataract patients with high myopia and posterior scleral staphyloma,SRK/T and Haigis formula were recommended when employing IOL Master; whereas when using contact A-scan combined with manual keratometry,we prefer Holladay 1,Hoffer Q or Haigis formula.

Objective To investigate the detection rate and possible factors of hyperhomocysteinemia(HHcy) in children with chronic kidney disease(CKD).Methods The clinical data of children with CKD between July 2012 and September 2016 in the Department of Pediatrics,Peking University First Hospital were retrospectively collected.The homocysteine(Hcy) level of patients were measured.The other data included the general information,diagnosis and laboratory test results.Results Seventy-six pediatric patients with CKD were enrolled including 49 boys and 27 girls.The average age of the patients was (9.9±3.4) years old.The main cause of the patients in the study was primary glomerulopathy(48.7%,37/76 cases),and the rest were congenital and inherited glomerular diseases(36.8%,28/76 cases),secondary glomerular diseases(9.2%,7/76 cases)and renal tubular diseases(5.3%,4/76 cases).Fifty patients (65.8%,50/76 cases) had normal level of Hcy which was 10.40(7.30,11.62) μmol/L.Twenty-six patients(34.2%,26/76) were detected with HHcy whose Hcy level was 17.93(16.76,24.11) μmol/L.The detection rate of HHcy in CKD stage 1,stage 2,stage 3,stage 4 and stage 5 was 13.9%(5/36 cases),22.2%(2/9 cases),50.0%(4/8 cases),57.1%(4/7 cases) and 68.8%(11/16 cases) respectively,and the detection rate increased with CKD stages and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=17.574,P<0.001).The level of Hcy was 10.05(7.04,12.47) μmol/L,11.75(10.78,16.44) μmol/L,13.73(10.09,18.23) μmol/L,15.81(11.12,20.71) μmol/L and 17.39(11.86,24.76) μmol/L in CKD stage 1,stage 2,stage 3,stage 4 and stage 5,respectively.The Kruskal-Wallis test revealed that the distribution of homocysteine in CKD stages had statistically significant difference(P=0.001).Multiple linear regression model showed that creatinine clearance was an independent predicator of HHcy.Conclusions In this study of the CKD patients,the detection rate of HHcy was high and increased with the progression of CKD.HHcy is mainly influenced by creatinine clearance in CKD.The level of Hcy should be monitored regularly in children with CKD and HHcy should be treated with proper measures.

Objective To analyze the clinicopathological features of gastric stromal tumor with primary gastrointestinal carcinoma.Methods 469 cases of gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) from January 2011 to December 2014 admitted to PLA General Hospital were retrospectively analyzed.Gastric stromal tumor patients with primary gastrointestinal carcinoma were screened.The concomitant gastrointestinal cancer site,stromal tumor size,mitotic activity,immunohistochemistry were also detected.Results The gastric stromal tumor with primary gastrointestinal carcinoma accounted for 14.7 ％ (69/469) of all the GIST,in which the small gastric stromal tumor accounted for 65.2 ％ (45/69) of the total and 9.59 ％ (45/469) of all the GIST.The diameter of all tumors was ＜ 5 cm,and the mitotic was ＜ 5/50 HPF.The positive rates of CD117,CD34,DOG-1 were 92.8 ％ (64/69),92.8 ％ (64/69),94.1％ (65/69).The Fletcher was classified as low-risk and extreme low-risk.Conclusions Gastric stromal tumor with primary gastrointestinal carcinoma has no specific clinical features and pathological immunohistochemical markers.Its malgnant degree is lower than GIST.Its prognosis is associated with primary gastrointestinal cancer staging.

Objective To analyze the balance function of injured lower lim b by dynam ic posturography. Methods Using the dynam ic posturography instrum ent, the postural evoked responses of sixty-two norm al people and two hundred and fifty-eight people with injured lower lim b bones and joints were detected. The test was included sensory organization test(SO T) and adaption test(ADT).The results of two groups were com pared by t test. Results Com pared with the norm al people, the im paired people had significant statistical differences in balance scores of SO T3-SO T6 and proportion score of dynam ic proprioception (P<0.05). There was no obvious decrease in ADT. Conclusion The balance function of injured lower lim b significantly decreases.
