1.Genetic research progress of syndromes with the comorbidity of epilepsy and autism
International Journal of Pediatrics 2015;42(1):98-101,105
No specific causative gene has been found for epilepsy or autism, while the co-occurrence rate of these two disorders is approximately 30%,suggesting potentially shared common mechanisms.A number of well-known genetic disorders share epilepsy and autism as prominent phenotypic features, including Rett syndrome, tuberous sclerosis, fragile X,and so on.A lot of gene mutations related with the development of nervous system, such as ARX,MECP2,usually associate with the prevalence of these syndromes.Gene mutations often disrupt synaptic plasticity, leading to protein adjusting spiral out of control, resulting in imbanlance of excitement and inhibition in brain, which develop a series of diseases.Mechanisms of early-life seizures and autism turn out to be in several levels, for gene mutations may lead to changes in both molecules and cells, resulting in intelligence and behavior abnormalities.Genetic research progress of syndromes with the comorbidity of epilepsy and autism are reviewed in this paper,in order to provide insight into their underlying pathophysiology and elucidate new therapeutic approaches of both conditions.
2.Psychological experience of AIDS patients: a qualitative study
Modern Clinical Nursing 2017;16(1):23-26
Objective To study the psychological experience of patients infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and provide theoretical basis for clinical care. Methods The phenomenological research method was used to interview 9 patient in depth. The Colaizzi 7-step analysis method was used to analyze their clinical data.Result The mental experience of the AIDS patients after notification of affirmative diagnosis of AIDS included six aspects:concealing, suspicion or denying, worry of being abandoned, eager to be cured, calm and worry of communicating the disease to their family members. Conclusion The nurses should pay attention to their mentality, helping them build a social supporting system and supporting pertinent interventions according to individual psychological experience, which is helpful for controlling risks of disease transmission and improving treatment compliance.

4.Exploration of microcosmic Chinese medicine used by western medicine.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2015;35(2):133-136
"Microcosmic syndrome", "treatment based on syndrome differentiation", and "combination of disease identification and syndrome differentiation" generally refer to a mode: following the syndrome if with no disease identified, following the disease if with no syndrome type differentiated. For example, Chinese medical treatment of hypertension, high blood lipids, increased transaminase, and so on candirectly use Chinese recipes, but no longer with syndrome differentiation. Clinical application of Chinese patent medicine can also obtain favorable clinical. Western doctors need not follow syndrome differentiation. The invention of artemisinin was screened from more than 40 000 kinds of compounds and herbs, but with no reference of any traditional Chinese medical theory. A lot of folk remedy and empirical recipes have obtained effective efficacy but unnecessarily with profound Chinese medical theories. Various evidences showed that disease can also be cured without syndrome differentiation. I held that it might be associated with the same mechanism of Chinese medicine and Western medicine. Any disease can be cured or alleviated by Chinese medicine is a result from its modern pharmacological effect, which is achieved by improving etiologies, and pathogeneses. I was inspired by whether we can directly use traditional Chinese medicine with modern pharmacological effects to treat symptomatic disease. So I raised an idea of microcosmic Chinese medicine used by Western medicine, i.e., we find and use Chinese herbs with relatively effective modern pharmacological effect to treat diseases targeting at patients' clinical symptoms and signs, as well as various positive laboratory results (collectively called as microscopic dialectical indicators). More Western doctors would use it to treat disease due to omission of complicated and mysterious syndrome differentiation. This will promote extensive application and expansion of Chi- nese medicine and pharmacy, enlarge the team of integrative medicine, improve Western doctors' interest in Chinese medicine and pharmacy, thus pushing the career of integrative medicine in a brand new development era.

5.Role of protein O-linked N-acetyl-glucosamine modification in glutamine-induced improvement in vascular hyporeactivity in rats with septic shock
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2012;32(7):866-869
Objective To investigate the role of protein O-linked N-acetyl-glucosamine (O-GlcNAc) modification in glutamine-induced improvement in the vascular hyporeactivity in rats with septic shock. Methods Thirty-two adult male Sprague-Dawley rats, aged 2-3 months, weighing 250-300 g,were randomly divided into 4 groups (n =8 each):sham operation group (S group); septic shock group (C group); glutamine group (G group) ; alloxan group (A group).Septic shock was induced by cecal ligation and puncture (CLP).In G and A groups, glutamine 0.75 g/kg was infused intravenously over 30 min at 1 h before CLP,and in addition alloxan 90 mg/kg was infused intraperitoneally in A group.Phenylephrine (PE) 0.5,1.0,2.0,and 2.5 μg/kg was injected intravenously at 20 min intervals at 6 h after CLP and the percentage increase in mean arterial pressure (MAP) was calculated. The thoracic aorta rings were isolated to perform the isolated vascular tension experiment. The concentration-response curve of PE was obtained in tension experiments, and the PE maximum efficacy (Emas) and median effective dose ( EC50 ) were calculated. The expression of O-GlcNAc modification and iNOS content in the thoracic aorta were detected in all groups.Blood samples were taken to determine the serum concentration of NO.Results Compared with S group, the percentage increase in MAP and Emax were significantly decreased, while the EC50,serum concentration of NO,and expression of O-GlcNAc modification and iNOS content in thoracic aorta were significantly increased in C,G and A groups ( P < 0.05).Compared with C group, the expression of O-GlcNAc modification in the thoracic aorta was significantly increased, and EC50 was significantly decreased in G group, and the percentage increase in MAP and Emax were significantly increased, while the serum concentration of NO,and content of iNOS in the thoracic aorta were significantly decreased in G and A groups ( P < 0.05).Compared with G group, the EC50,serum concentration of NO,and content of iNOS in the thoracic aorta were significantly increased, while the percentage increase in MAP,Emax and expression of O-GlcNAc modification in the thoracic aorta were significantly decreased ( P < 0.05 ).Conclusion Glutamine improves the vascular hyporeactivity through increasing the level of protein O-GlcNAc modification in rats with septic shock.

7.Advance in research on the relationship between mTOR signaling pathway and tumors
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 2010;31(1):1-9
Mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) is a serine/threonine protein kinase that is centrally involved in the control of cell growth, proliferation, differentiation and cell cycle regulation. Recent studies have found that the mTOR pathway is complicated and the dysregulation of mTOR pathway is recognized to be associated with lots of tumors. Several inhibitors of mTOR could inhibit oncogene transformation, growth and angiogenesis of tumors. So far, four inhibitors of mTOR have been tested in clinical trials, and some have been accessed to phase Ⅱ or Ⅲ trial. Therefore, in this review, we discuss the regulators that govern mTOR pathway activity, and highlight clinical results obtained with the first generation of mTOR inhibitors to reach the oncology clinics.
8.Research progress on Traditional Chinese Medicine improving endometrial receptivity
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2021;43(3):304-307
Endometrial receptivity is the key for embryo implantation. Improving the receptivity of the endometrium so that the endometrium and the embryo tend to synchronize is the key research field of reproductive medicine in recent years. Traditional Chinese Medicine could improve endometrial receptivity from the aspects like morphology, ultrasound, hormone and receptor expression, molecular biology level, and gene level. It plays a unique role in enriching the expression of pinocytosis, improving uterine artery blood flow, and increasing sensitivity of female progesterone receptor, adjusting related factors and gene expression.
