Objective To investigate the application of admission test as a medical management in the labor room.Methods Eight hundred and fifty singleton pregnant women underwent admission test in labor room at Women's Hospital,School of Medicine,Zhejiang University from Dec.2009 to Dec.2011 were enrolled into this study.They were divided into two groups:normal group (admission test was normal,n =658) and abnormal group (admission test was abnormal or undetermined,n =192).Deliveries and perinatal outcomes of them were observed.The difference between the two groups were compared with two independent sample t test and Chi-square test.Results There were no significant differences in the mean age at delivery of the women and mean birth weight of neonates between the two groups (all P＞0.05).The cesarean section rate of normal group (34.2％,225/658) was lower than that (59.4％,114/192) of abnormal group (x2=3.93,P＜0.05).The rates of prematurc rupture of membranes (72.4％,139/ 192),fetaldistress (42.2％,81/192),neonatal asphyxia (16.5％,27/192) and neonatal complications (31.8％,61/192) in abnormal group were significantly higher than those [31.0％ (204/658),24.2％ (159/ 658),0.2％(1/658) and 2.6％ (17/658)] in normal group (x2 =105.78,40.84,52.54 and 151.92,P＜0.01respectively).Conclusions Admission test is a good method to forecast placental function during labor and perinatal outcomes,which might play an important role in medical management in labor room.

Objective To analyze youth talents' scientific research projects in research oriented hospital for recent five years,provide scientific basis for hospitals to strengthen the youth talents' capacity building of research innovation.Methods Identify those youth talents who have been funded in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University,and statistically analyze the demographic information,granted scientific research projects and hospital funding situations.Results There are 140 young talents who have got scientific research projects from 2011 to 2015 in the hospital.The national project number and the trend of approval rate has no obvious change;the provincial level project number and approval rate showed a trend of a significant increase in the last two years;Setting up the hospital fund promoted the youth talents' scientific research ability,but there are still spaces for further improvement in the funding field and founded group.Conclusions There has been a group of youth talents to stand out from the crowd during the construction and the development of the researchoriented hospital,but youth talents remains scarce for the national key projects and talent projects,and that will put forward new requirements for the hospital in the future to strengthen the youth talents' capacity building of research innovation,which needs to gradually establish a suitable cultivation mode and mechanism for youth talents' growth.

In this paper, the chloroplast psbK-psbI intergenic spacers of 18 species of Dendrobium and their adulterants were amplified and sequenced, and then the sequence characteristics were analyzed. The sequence lengths of chloroplast psbK-psbI regions of Dendrobium ranged from 474 to 513 bp and the GC contents were 25.4%-27.6%. The variable sites were 71 while the informative sites were 46. The inter-specific genetic distances calculated by Kimura 2-parameter (K2P) of Dendrobium were 0.006 1-0.058 1, with an average of 0.028 4. The K2P genetic distances between Dendrobium species and Bulbophyllum odoratissimum were 0.093 2-0.120 4. The NJ tree showed that the Dendrobium species can be easily differentiated from each other and 6 samples of the inspected Dendrobium species were identified successfully through sequencing the psbK-psbI intergenic spacer. Therefore, the chloroplast psbK-psbI intergenic spacer can be used as a candidate marker to identify Dendrobium species and its adulterants.

Recently,as the exposure of the incident of‘octuplet’in Guangdong province,China's underground surrogate market has once again surfaced and led to a wide range of discussion.In this paper,the connotation and characteristics of surrogacy were analyzed and related laws and regulations of surrogacy in foreign countries were discussed.The main types of surrogacy-related legislation and regulations abroad are autonomy of private law,governmental regulation and complete prohibition.This paper carried out thorough legal analysis on whether to prohibit strictly or establish an authoritative legal system in view of the existing and ineffectively prohibited underground surrogate market in our country.

Objective To evaluate the imaging quality of the non-contrast enhanced MR angiography of sampling perfection with application optimized contrasts using different flip angle evolutions (SPACE)in showing portal system and compared it with that of the contrast enhanced MR angiography of volumetric interpolated breath-hold examination (VIBE),and study its diagnostic ability in the detection of portosystemic and portohepatic collaterals.Methods Thirty consecutively cirrhotic patients with suspected of portosystemic and portohepatic collaterals were enrolled,and underwent SPACE followed by VIBE at 1.5 T MR scanner.The diagnostic accuracy of SPACE for the portal vein disease was evaluated by two doctors and compared it with that of VIBE.The contrast-to-noise ratio(CNR) and signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) of two MRA techniques were compared by using the Wilcoxon signed rank test.The quality assessment including scores of the portal vein segments and overall image quality were used the paired t test.Results Twenty-one patients were diagnosed as portal hypertension,including five types of portosystemic collaterals: esophageal varices (n =5),gastric fundic varices (n =11),splenic varices (n =5),paraumbilical varices (n =5) and cavemous transformation (n =2),and one patient was diagnosed as portal vein tumor thrombus.The diagnostic efficiency of SPACE was equivalent to that of VIBE.In SPACE,the SNR were 291 ± 57,301 ± 74,344 ±76 and the CNR were 231 ±59,242 ±73,286 ±76 at main portal vein,the left branch of portal vein and the right branch of portal vein,respectively.However in VIBE,the SNR were 185 ± 56,176 ± 52,182 ±52 and the CNR were 57 ±23,50 ±21,57± 19 at,respectively.Both SNR and CNR of portal vein segments in the former were better than those in the latter (t values were 7.691,7.418,7.946,15.746,13.508 and 13.880,respectively,P ＜ 0.05).There were no significant difference for the scores of displaying main,left branch and right branch portal vein and overall image quality in VIBE and SPACE (Z values were -1.496,-1.895,-1.496,-2.138,-2.324 and-1.328,respectively,P ＞ 0.05).The scores of displaying the distal branches of left and right portal vein were 2.08 ± 0.78,2.08 ± 0.78 in SPACE,and 1.75 ± 0.53,1.71 ± 0.55 in VIBE,respectively.It was better (Z =-2.138,-2.324,P ＜ 0.05) in SPACE than that in VIBE.Conclusion The SPACE has better visualization of portal vein distal branches than VIBE,and it can be applied for the diagnosis of the portal vein disease.

Objective To explore the lipid metabolism in patients with hypertension and obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome.Methods A total of 896 patients (655 cases of male; 241 cases of female) was recruited who were hospitalized in our department,and were classified into four groups based on the finding of polysomnography (PSG):hypertensive without obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAS) (n =243),hypertensive with mild OSAS (n =245),hypertensive with moderate OSAS (n =195),and hypertensive with severe OSAS (n =213).Multiple indices including apnea-hypopnea index (AHI),lowest arterial oxygen saturation(lowest SaO2),body mass index (BMI),blood pressure,total cholesterol (TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDLC),triglycerides (TG),fasting blood glucose(FBG),uric acid (UA),and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) were assessed,and the relevant risk factors of lipid metabolism were analyzed.Results (1)Male patients had more opportunities to suffer OSAS than female (P ＜0.01).Compared with the group without hypertensive,patients in severe OSAS group had higher levels of AGE (48.09 ± 9.48,BMI (29.46 ±3.83),AHI[45.90(37.55,63.65)],MSpO2 (89.08 ±4.93),LSpO2 (67.36 ± 12.60),TC (4.68 ±1.00),TG[2.03(1.54,2.88)],UA (371.85 ±99.29),and hs-CRP[1.43(0.82,3.056)] (P ＜0.05),and had lower levels of HDL-C (1.09 ± 0.28).(2) Two and more than two lipids abnormal metabolic indices increased prevalence with the increase of the severity of OSAS.(3)The prevalence of high TG,high TC in AHI ≥ 15/h was significantly higher than AHI ＜ 15 group.(4) After adjustment for BMI,gender,age and other common risk factors,it confirmed that AHI was still related to lipid metabolism.AHI was an independent risk factor for abnormal lipid metabolism.Conclusions AHI was an independent risk factor for abnormal lipid metabolism.With increasing severity of OSAS,the levels TC,TG,and the category of abnormal lipid metabolism were also increased.

Objective To observe the effects of Chinese medicine ingredient ginger phenol on expressions of IL-17 and IL-23 in collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) rats;To investigate the role and mechanism of ginger phenol in CIA rats.Methods Forty female Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:blank group, model control group, ginger phenol treatment group and tripterygium glucosides control group. After CIA was established in rats successfully, ginger phenol treatment group and tripterygium glycosides control group were treated with ginger phenol and tripterygium glycosides by gavage, while the control group and model control group were fed with the same amount of saline. Four weeks after the treatment, the rats were collected serum and sacrificed. The pathological of CIA joint synovial was observed by electron microscope. The expressions of IL-17 and IL-23 in serum were detected by ELISA.Results The hyperplasia of synovial tissue and angiogenesis was reduced in gingerol phenol treatment group. Infiltration of inflammatory cells and edema was improved. IL-17 and IL-23 expressions of in serum of CIA rats were significantly higher than those of the blank group (P<0.01). Ginger phenol and tripterygium glycosides down-regulated the expressions of IL-23 and IL-17 (P<0.05,P<0.01). Ginger phenol group was better than that of tripterygium glycosides control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Chinese medicine ingredient ginger phenol can reduce expressions IL-17 and IL-23 in serum of CIA rats.
