Journal of Clinical Surgery 2017;25(7):531-533
Objective To investigate the risk factors and prevention methods of anastomotic fistula after laparoscopic sphincter preserving surgery for low rectal cancer. Methods 166 patients with low rectal cancer were treated with laparoscopic total mesorectal excision(TME),34 cases were treated with prophylactic colostomy. The clinical and pathological factors were collected and the χ2 test was used to analyze the influencing factors of anastomotic leakage.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the independent risk factors of postoperative anastomotic leakage. Results Anastomotic leakage occurred in 14 cases, incidence rate was 8.43%(14/166).All patients were cured after conservative treatment.Univariate analysis showed that age(>65 years),basic diseases, preoperative albumin(<35 g/L),preoperative intestinal obstruction, tumor size(>4cm),Dukes stage were the risk factors of anastomotic leakage(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that preoperative albumin, preoperative intestinal obstruction, tumor size were the independent risk factors of anastomotic fistula. Conclusion The incidence of anastomotic leakage in low rectal cancer was higher, should be highly valued.Prophylactic stoma should be used for the independent risk factors, which can effectively reduce the probability of the second operation, reduce the degree of fistula, shorten the healing time of fistula.

International Eye Science 2016;16(6):1071-1075
?Ocular trauma related glaucoma is one of secondary glaucoma, which can lead to serious visual loss. According to the complex clinical findings and pathogenesis of ocular trauma related glaucoma, we divide traumatic secondary glaucoma into hyphema related glaucoma, angle recession related, lens injury related, adhesion and proliferation related. The treatment of secondary traumatic glaucoma with ocular trauma were different, specific treatment measures should be given according to the specific case to protect visual function.
6.Establishment and comparison of DHPG and BMI induced epileptic discharge models
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2009;29(6):668-672
Objective To develop models of epileptic discharge by activating group Ⅰ metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluR) or by blocking gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors on rat hippocampal slices. Methods Rat hippocampal slices were exposed to mGluR group Ⅰ specific agonist dihydroxyphenylglycine (DHPG) or to GABAA receptor antagonists bicuculline methiodide(BMI), and single pyramidal cell in the CA3 region of the slice was recorded by whole cell patch clamp technique. Results Exposure to DHPG or BMI resulted in the induction of spontaneously occurring epileptic discharge in the CA3 region of rat hippocampal slice, and there was no significant difference in the frequency of discharge between them(P>0.05). Conclusion Epileptic discharge can be generated in vitro in response to a loss of balance between excitatory and inhibitory influences.
7.Treatment for traumatic optic neuropathy with mouse nerve growth factor:a meta-analysis
International Eye Science 2015;(4):633-635
AIM:To evaluate the efficacy of treating traumatic optic neuropathy( TON) with mouse nerve growth factor.
METHODS: We searched the Cochrane Library, Pubmed, Medline, CNKI, Wanfang database and VIP to collect randomized controlled trials ( RCTs ) of using mouse nerve growth factor for TON. The quality of the included trials was assessed and poor-qualified trials were eliminated before the meta - analysis was conducted.
RESULTS:Seven RCTs with a total of 399 eyes included were retrieved, and OR=3. 78 with a 95%CI of [ 2. 35, 6.06], the difference was significant (P<0. 01).
CONCLUSION:The existing evidence supports that the prognosis of TON is better when mouse nerve growth factor are adopted in treatment, but there is still a need for well-planned, large-scale and multicenter RCTs to verify it.
8.Study on Relationship Between of Chromium(Ⅵ)-induced Mutagenic Effects and Lipid Peroxidation in Mice
Journal of Environment and Health 1989;0(06):-
Objectiv To explore the effects of chromium (Ⅵ) on the levels of malondialdehyde (MDA), the final product of lipid peroxidation in peripheral blood of mice and the micronucleus rate of polychromatic erythrocytes (PCE) in peripheral blood. Method 60 Kunming mice were divided randomly into 6 groups averagely. 4 groups were selected as exposure groups which were exposed to 10.27, 13.83, 20.74, 41.48 mg/kg calcium chromate by oral perfusion, one time per day, for 6 days. The negative and positive control group was exposed to distilled water and cyclophos phamide (40 mg/kg) respectively. After exposure, the levels of MDA and micronucleus rates of PCE were determined. Results Significant increases of the levels of MDA and the micronucleus rates of PCE in peripheral blood of mice were observed, which were associated with the increases of the exposure doses of chromium (Ⅵ). Significant positive correlation was observed between the micronucleus rates of PCEs (x) and MDA(nmol/ml) levels (y) in peripheral blood (y=3.705+930x,r=0.958, P

International Eye Science 2014;(6):1110-1112
AIM: To observe the efficacy of high concentrations of sodium hyaluronate ( 3g/L SH ) for moderate to severe dry eye.
METHODS: Forty moderate to severe dry eye patients were included in the study according to the diagnosis criteria and randomized into two groups. The patients of the trial group received topical administration of high concentration sodium hyaluronate (3g/L), and those of the control group received sodium hyaluronate ( 1g/L ) plus recombinant human epidermal growth factor. The dry eye symptom scores, ocular surface disease index ( OSDI) scores, tear film break-up time ( BUT) , SchirmerⅠ test and corneal fluorescein staining score were evaluated. All the indexes were compared between the two groups 2wk before and after treatment.
RESULTS: There were no significant differences of the indicators between the two groups before treatment. After 2wk treatment, the differences were statistically significant compared to former except for the SchirmerⅠtest. Compared with the control group, the symptom scores and the OSDI scores were lowered. No significant differences were found in the other indicators between these two groups.
CONCLUSION: Topical usage of highconcentrations of sodium hyaluronate (3g/L) is beneficial for remitting the ocular symptoms in moderate to severe dry eyes, and also improve the quality of life of patients.
