OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of Anzi mixture on Toll like receptor 4(TLR4)/myeloid differentiation factor 88 (MyD88)/nuclear facter-κB(NF-κB)signaling pathway of antiphospholipid antibodies(APA)positive abortive mice,and to inves-tigate the mechanism of anti-APA positive abortion. METHODS:BALB/c mice(female)were randomly divided into blank control group,model group,aspirin group (positive control,0.0195 g/kg) and Anzi mixture low-dose,medium-dose and high-dose groups (37.7,75.4,150.8 g/kg,calculated by crude drug),with 10 mice in each group. Except for blank control group,other groups were given human β2-glycoprotein Ⅰ as derivant to establish APA positive abortion model. From the first day of pregnancy, treatment groups were given relevant medicine intragastrically,and blank control group and model group were given constant vol-ume of normal saline intragastrically,once a day,for consecutive 9 d. mRNA and protein levels of TLR4,myeloid differentiation 2 (MD2),MyD88 and NF-κB in placental tissue of mice were determined by RT-PCR and immunohistochemical method. RE-SULTS:Compared with blank control group,mRNA and protein expression of TLR4,MD2,MyD88 and NF-κB in placental tis-sue were increased markedly in the model group(P<0.01). Compared with model group,mRNA and protein expression of TLR4, MD2 and MyD88 in aspirin group and Anzi mixture low-dose and medium-dose groups were decreased significantly as well as the protein expression of TLR4 in Anzi mixture high-dose group and the protein expression of NF-κB in all medicine groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01). mRNA expression of TLR4 and MD2 and the protein expression of MD2 and MyD88 in Anzi mixture low-dose groups were lower than those in aspirin group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). CONCLUSIONS:Anzi mixture can inhibit TLR4/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway of APA positive abortive mice,which may be one of anti-APA positive abortion mechanisms.

Objective　To study on effects of mVEGF and anti-VEGF antibody during cultured HUVEC proliferation in vitro.Methods　Endothelial cell proliferation was assayed using human umbilical vein endothelial cells stimulated with mVEGF and with CIA joint extracts and was used　　3　　H-TaR incorporation.Results　The anti-VEGF neutralizing antibody can inhibit the proliferation of HUVEC stimulated with mVEGF and with CIA joint extracts,whose suppression percents were 72.2% and 69.9%,respectively.Conclusion　mVEGF specifically promotes the growth of vascular endothelial cells.During early stage of CIA development,expression of VEGF in the joint increases and VEGF is expressed biologically active and can be inhibited by anti-VEGF neutralizing antibody.

Objective To compare the clinical effect of C3F8 and air tamponade after vitrectomy for the treatment of idiopathic macular hole (IMH).Methods A total of 54 eyes of 54 patients with IMH that had undergone 23G pars plana vitrectomy with internal limiting membrane peeling were retrospectively studied.All patients received optical coherence tomography ()CT) examination and the best corrected visual acuity (BCVA).They were divided into 2 groups.26 eyes in group A were filled with air and 28 eyes in group B were filled with C3F8.In group A,6 eyes at stage Ⅱ,20 eyes at stage Ⅲ,the minimum diameter (Dmin) of macular hole in 14 eyes was less than 400 μm,and in the other eyes was larger than 400 μm.In group B,10 eyes at stage Ⅱ,18 eyes at stage Ⅲ,the Dmin of macular hole in 15 eyes was less than 400 μm,and in the other eyes was larger than 400 μm.The differences of age,course of the disease,BCVA,fundus diameter,Dmin,height,index,diameter of outer retina diameter (Dord) between the two groups were not significant (P＞0.05).The basic data before surgery and the closure rate,BCVA,Dord 1 month after surgery between two groups were compared.Results At 1 month after surgery,the IMH closure rate was 100.0％ in group A and 92.9％ in group B,the difference between these two groups was not significant (P=0.491).The closure rate of eyes with Dmin＜400 μm were both 100.0％ in two groups,and the closure rate of eyes with Dmin＞400 μm were 100.0％ in group A and 84.6％ in group B.There was no statistically significant differences between two groups (P =0.480).The mean BCVA of two groups were 0.35±0.22 and 0.33 ±0.16 respectively.The mean Dord were (782.2 ± 478.0) μm and(792.1 ± 432.7) μm respectively.All cases got better BCVA (t=-7.310,-10.506;P＜0.01) and shorter Dord (t=6.704,7.770;P＜0.01).But there was no statistically significant differences between groups 1 month after surgery in BCVA and Dord (t =0.381,0.800;P =0.705,0.937).Conclusion Air tamponade after vitrectomy has the same efficacy as C3 F8 tamponade in the treatment of IMH.

These genes include beta 2-adrenaline receptor genes(ADRB2),the glucocorticoid receptor genes(NR3C1) and leukotriene synthase genes(LTC4S and ALOX5),etc. Pharmacogenomics can realize individualized treatment of asthma,reduce the admission rate and the mortality rate,and reduce the cost of treatment. Pharmacogenomics of children asthma is reviewed in this arti-cle,hoping to provide help for the individualized treatment of asthma.

Objective To investigate the risk factors of ischemic cerebral stroke after transient ischemic attacks (TIAs).Methods The clinical data of 184 TIA patients were collected.The risk factors of ischemic cerebral stroke after TIA were analyzed.Results Compared with no ischemic cerebral infarction group, the rate of elderly (≥60 years old), hypertension, diabetes, smoking and drinking history in ischemic cerebral infarction group (P<0.05-0.01).There was no statistical significance in gender and hyperlipidemia between the two groups (all P>0.05).Compared with no ischemic cerebral infarction group, the rate of attack time≥30 min, attack frequency≥3, course of disease≥24 h were significantly increased (P<0.05-0.01).There was no statistical significance in TIA types between the two groups (all P>0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed there were a positive correlations between elderly, hypertension, diabetes, smoking and drinking history and ischemic cerebral stroke after TIA (OR=29.799, 95%CI: 2.189-405.569, P=0.011;OR=0.649, 95%CI: 0.038-6.850, P=0.005;OR=8.569, 95%CI: 1.314-55.862, P=0.025;OR=0.158, 95%CI: 0.025-0.980, P=0.048).Conclusion Elderly, hypertension, diabetes, smoking and drinking history are independent risk factors for ischemic cerebral stroke after TIA.

Objective To evaluate the effect of Liujunzi soup on the total course of disease and inflammatory mediators in patients with remission of allergic cough. Methods Eighty six patients with allergic cough were enrolled in our hospital from April 2011 to April 2012. The patients were randomly divided into observation group (n = 43) and control group (n = 43). The control group was given basic western medicine treatment, the observation group in the control group on the basis of another treatment of six gentleman soup. The levels of inflammatory cytokines, pulmonary function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups in clinical efficacy, hospitalization time, total course of disease, IL-2, TNF-α and IL-6. Results The total effective rate was 90.70％ in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (72.09％)( P<0.05). The duration of hospitalization (13.35 ± 3.24) d and the total course of disease (17.68 ± 4.53) d were significantly shorter than those in the control group (16.23 ±3.10) d, (20.35 ± 4.67) d (P<0.05). The levels of inflammatory factors and pulmonary function in the observation group were statistically significant compared with the control group (P<0.05). No adverse reactions occurred in both groups. Conclusion Liujunzi Decoction combined with western medicine can improve the level of inflammatory cytokines and lung function, shorten the length of hospital stay, the total course of disease and high safety, and have good clinical value.
