Objective:To investigate the vasorelaxant effect of active fraction from compound Prunella vulgaris L. ( AFCP) on the i-solated thoracic aorta of rats and underlying mechanism. Methods:The study was performed with the tension experiment of the isolate rat thoracic aorta. The changes of vascular ring tension were measured by biological signal acquisition and analysis system, and the vasodila-tor effect of AFCP was observed. Results:AFCP(100-500μg·ml-1)could induce significant relaxation in aorta rings pre-contracted by phenylephrine (PE,1 μmol·L-1), and the relaxation effect was significant(75% ±8%) in endothelium-intact aortic and endothelium-denuded aortic. The vasodilatation effect of AFCP was not significantly affected by nitric oxide synthase ( NOS) inhibitor NG-nitro-L-argi-nine( L-NNA) , guanylate cyclase inhibitor MB,potassium channel blocker TEA and glibenclamide. In Ca2+-free bath solutions, AFCP (300 μg·ml-1 ) could shift downward dose-response curve of CaCl2 and significantly reduce the maximum contraction amplitude of PE. Conclusion:AFCP can relax rat aorta rings in a dose-dependent manner, which is endothelium-independent. The mechanism may be re-lated to the inhibition of intracellular calcium release and extracellular calcium flow, and has nothing to do with NO pathway, prostacyclin generation and calcium-activated potassium channels.

Objective To investigate the relationship between plasma concentration of osteopontin (OPN) and disease activity in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).Methods The plasma concentration of OPN in 28 healthy controls and 38 SLE patients was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results The plasma concentration of OPN was significantly higher in SLE patients compared to that in the healthy controls (420?203 ng/mL vs 73?14 ng/mL,P＜0.001),in the patients with proteinuria com- pared to that in the patients without proteinuria (623?88 ng/mL vs 288?135 ng/mL,P＜0.001),in the patients with active disease compared to that in those with inactive disease (529?143 ng/mL vs 185?66ng/mL,P＜0.001),in the patients before treatment compared to that in the patients after treatment (556?130 ng/mL vs 142?22 ng/mL,P＜0.001).The plasma concentration of OPN in patients with arthritis was not different from those without arthritis (489?153 ng/mL vs 375?222 ng/mL,P＞0.05).Plasma concentration of OPN showed a significant positive correlation with systemic lupus erythematosus disease ac- tivity index (SLEDAI) (r=0.93,P＜0.001),but a significant negative correlation with serum C3 level (r=-0.49,P＜0.05).There was no correlation between plasma concentration of OPN and antinuclear an- tibody titre,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,or serum level of C4.Conclusions These data show that plas- ma OPN level has some correlation with the SLE activity,renal damage and progression or amelioration of SLE.OPN could be involved in the pathogenesis of SLE.

Objective To develop a kind of clinical nursing human resource mamagement basic data set fits to national and international standard. Methods CNHRMBDS was developed according to refereces and related standard, and then compared with related data set of nursing management. Results There were 179 data elements in the CNHRMBDS. It included all data elements related to human resources for health in China Hospital Basic Data Set Standard 1.0Version, China Public Health Information Classification and Basic Data Set Standard1.0 Version, and Community Health Information Basic Data Set Standard. Twenty-four data elements in the World Health Organization Human Resources for Health Minimum Data Set and 155 data elements in the American Nursing Management Minimum Data Set were found comparable to those in the CNHRMBDS. Conclusions The CNHRMBDS was found complete and able to meet relevant national and in-ternational standards. It should be further developed to be a national standard for health profession.

Objective To observe the efficacy of acupuncture plus medication in treating diarrhea-irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D) due to liver depression and spleen deficiency, and its effect on serum 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) and endothelin (ET). Method Sixty IBS-D (liver depression and spleen deficiency) were recruited and randomized into an observation group and a control group, 30 cases each. Patients in the observation group were intervened by acupuncture plus modified Bai Zhu Shao Yao powder, while the control group was intervened by acupuncture alone. The total effective rate, change of syndrome score of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and diarrhea-irritable bowel syndrome quality of life scale (IBS-QOL), as well as the levels of serum 5-HT, CGRP and ET, were observed. Result The total effective rate was 83.3% in the observation group, significantlyhigher than 63.3% in the control group (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in comparing the global and component TCM symptoms scores and IBS-QOL between the two groups before the treatment (P>0.05). The global and component TCM symptoms scores and IBS-QOL dropped significantly in both groups after the intervention (P<0.05). The global TCM symptoms score and IBS-QOL in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group after the intervention and 3 months after the intervention (P<0.05); the component TCM symptoms scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group after the intervention (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in comparing the serum 5-HT, CGRP and ET levels between the two groups (P>0.05) before the treatment. The levels of 5-HT, CGRP and ET decreased significantly after the treatment in both groups (P<0.05); after the intervention, the levels of 5-HT, CGRP and ET in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture plus medication can effectively mitigate the symptoms in IBS-D (liver depression and spleen deficiency) and enhance the quality of life, which is possibly achieved by down-regulating the serum 5-HT, CGRP and ET levels.

Objective To investigate the relationship between post-stroke pathological laughing and crying and depression.Methods Among 276 stroke patients in hospital,28 patients with pathological laughing and crying were chosen as PLC group,and other 28 patients matched with gender and age but without PLC were choosen as the control group.All patients were investigated with Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),PLC scale and clinical features.Results There was no significantly difference(P>0.05)in total and factor scores of HAMD between these two groups.Conclusion The pathological laughing and crying and depression seem to result from different pathogenesis.

Objective To explore the inner relationship between the humanistic care of nursing and the four elements of benevolence, rites, confidence, harmony, and construct a theoretical model of nursing humanistic care based on Confucian thought. Methods Using semi-structured focus interview with 13 experts, the data was sorted, analyzed, encoded and refined, seeking to enrich the modern humanistic nursing care ideas and factors from the Confucian ideology by using grounded theory research method, make the theory research and clinical practice of nursing humanities phenomenon was closely related to the construction of nursing the theory of humanistic care model based on Confucianism. Results Obtained the cognition, feelings and ideas of the experts in nursing, humanistic care and Confucianism, and extracted four classification subjects:benevolence ritesconfidenceharmony as the spiritual core, carrier, code of conduct, value orientation of nursing humanistic care, and constructing a theoretical model of nursing humanistic care based on Confucianism. Conclusions The construction of nursing humanistic care theory model based on Confucianism enriches the connotation of nursing humanistic care, and provides references for the further study of nursing humanistic care theory, and instructs clinical nursing practice by nursing humanistic care theory based on Confucianism.

Objective To observe levosimendan-induced hemodynamic improvement of chronic decompensated heart failure patients and adverse effects,and sum up the nursing experience of Levosimendan.Methods Sixty-three patients with decompensated heart failure were treated with Levosimendan,based on optimized conventional treatment for heart failure.Aminoterminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and left ventricle ejective fraction (LVEF) were measured at baseline and one week after Levosimendan administration.In addition,we summarized the clinical observation,adverse effects and nursing experiences of treatment with Levosimendan in decompensated heart failure patients.Results Levosimendan increased 24-hour urine output in patients at the first day after treatment.This effect of levosimendan persisted for 7 days at least.We observed an improvement in LVEF and a reduction of NT-pro-BNP at 7 days after the initiation of levosimendan treatment.Clinical efficiency of levosimendan in patients was 84.1％ in this study.Twenty two patients(34.9％) experienced different adverse events.Conclusions Levosimendan therapy can improve cardiac function and reduce BNP in patients with decompensated heart failure.The rate of adverse effects of Levosimendan is high.It is important to enhance therapy effect by careful nursing and observing variety state during treatment with Levosimendan.These data will be useful for the nursing care of Levosimendan in clinical practice.

Objective The article was to speed up the dissolution rate of poorly soluble drugs, reduce the configuration time and improve the allocative efficiency by analysis on factors influencing dissolution and adoption of proper allocative approaches accord-ing to different characteristics of insaluble drugs. Methods 5 insaluable drugs were chosen for the study, which were ornithine as-partate, mezlocillin sodium and sulbactam sodium, teicoplanin, omeprazole sodium injection and imipenem and cilastatin sodium.The control group were allocated by routine configuration approach, while the experiment group were improved by increasing the amount of solvent, loosing the powder inside the bottle before configuration, reducing the bubble, adopting special solvent and increasing the dis-solution temperature.Observation and comparative experiment were made on two groups along with the timing from configuration to com-plete dissolution into clear transparent liquid. Results As to the average complete dissolution time of 5 drugs, significant difference was found between two groups([42±5]s vs [246±35]s, [3±1]min vs [30±3]min, [5±1]min vs [10±3]min, [5±3]min vs [10± 5]min, [2±1]min vs [10±1]min, P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the dissolution time of 5 drugs was cut down by 83%, 90%, 50%, 50%, 80%in experiment group. Conclusion Appropriate increase of solvent, loose powder, bubble reduction, special solvent and increased solution temperature contribute to shortening the dissolution time of insoluble drugs and improving the configura-tion efficiency of pharmacy intravenous admixture.

Objective To survey the career identity and satisfaction of family doctors in Pndong New Area of Shanghai municipality.Methods Two hundred and thirty four family doctors were selected with random sampling method from 6 community health centers in Pudong New Area of Shanghai.The survey on career identity and satisfaction was conducted using a self-designed questionnaire.Results The results showed that 37.2％ of participants were very satisfied (8.1％,19/234) or satisfied (29.1％,68/234) with their current career situation.The three lowest satisfaction factors were salary (14.1％,33/234),benefit and social insurance (27.3 ％,64/234),professional reputation and social status (20.9％ 49/234).Meanwhile,the three highest factors were quality of their leadeship (79.5％,186/234),interpersonal relationship(74.4％,174/234) and the institutional management (63.3％,148/234).The survey also showed that 44.5％ and 30.6％ of participants expected their monthly pay as 8 001-10 000 and 5 000-8 000 RMB; 39.1％ thought the current performance evaluation mechanism as effective,while 25.7％ thought the opposite.Conclusion The social status and salary level of family doctors need to be improved; there is also an urgent need to improve the performance evaluation mechanism and other supporting measures.

Objective To study the pathological features of two huge spontaneous tumors in Wistar and GK rats. Methods Forty Wistar rats and 40 GK rats were included in this study. Among those rats, two huge spontaneous tumors were observed in a Wistar rat at 14 months of age and in a GK rat at 22 months of age. The growth and survival status of the tumor?bearing rats were recorded. The tumors were surgically removed, and their pathological features were examined using HE and immunohistochemical staining (vimentin, CK19, α?SMA, CD31, CD34, S?100, NF及Ki?67). Results Both the two tumors were completely resected by surgery without much difficulties, and both host rats survived well after the operation. The weight of the two huge tumors was 502 g and 119 g, which corresponding to 64% and 24% of the body weight of their host rats, respectively. The tumors surface had a complete capsule, with a clear boundary separating from the normal surrounding tissues, and no vascular pedicle structure was found. According to the results of immunohistochemical staining, both the two tumors were diagnosed as benign fibroma. Conclusion This type of huge spontaneous tumors is benign fibroma. Besides the impact on the activities of the rats, the tumors have no significant impact on the living conditions in the hosts.
