Collateral circulation may be a potential therapeutic target for ischemic stroke. However, aiming at improving the treatment of collateral circulation,it has not yet got the reliable clinical validation now. Therefore, undergoing the study of collateral circulation first in the animal models of chronic cerebral hypoperfusion has important practical significance. This article reviews the methods of rat chronic cerebral hypoperfusion models, neurobehavioral evaluation, cerebral perfusion assessment, collateral circulation pathways, and the experimental research status of improving collateral circulation.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(5):487-490
The painless needle insertion technique, summarized by Professor WU Lian-zhong during his decades of acupuncture clinical practice is introduced in this article, which is characterized as soft, flexible, fast, plucking and activating antipathogenic qi. The Sancai (three layers) lifting and thrusting manipulation technique is adopted by Professor WU for getting the qi sensation. And features of 10 kinds of needling sensation such as soreness, numbness, heaviness, distension, pain, cold, hot, radiation, jumping and contracture are summarized. Finger force, amplitude, speed and time length are also taken as the basis of reinforcing and reducing manipulations. Moreover, examples are also given to explain the needling technique on some specific points which further embodies Professor WU's unique experiences and understandings on acupuncture.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(07):-
By analyzing the situation that large general hospitals face at present in their development and the background of reform in the system of overall responsibility by the attending physician in the hospital, the authors offer an account of the guiding ideology for large general hospitals to adopt the system of overall responsibility by the attending physician, the specific steps taken and the initial results attained. They also discuss the impact of the system of overall responsibility by the attending physician on the hospital from the perspectives of human resources, technological innovation, managerial system, and information system. The positive significance of the system of overall responsibility by the attending physician in the management of the hospital reform is also identified.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(02):-
Objective To analyze the corneal flap thickness in laser in situ keratomileusis(LASIK) using Moria M2 microkeratome and to identify the related factors. Methods Sixty patients with LASIK were divided into two groups: M2 90 group, using the Moria M2 90 microkeratome,n=30;M2 110 group, using the Moria M2 110 microkeratome,n=30.All were performed on both eyes with the right one treated first.Subtraction pachymetry was used to measure corneal flap thickness which was analyzed statistically with the data including age, preoperative corneal diameter, curvature, corneal thickness and refraction. Results In the 30 patients of M2 90 group, the mean corneal flap thickness of right eye and left eyes were(128.03?12.03)?m(105~156 ?m) and(123.40?12.38) ?m(92~147 ?m),respectively, and the corneal flap thickness were statistically different between the right and left eyes(P

Objective To research the effect of ulinastatin on T-cytoimmunity in patients with infertility undergoing laparoscopic surgery. Methods Forty patients scheduled for receiving laparoscopic surgery were equally randomized into two groups, ulinastatin group (Group U) and control group (Group C). Ulinastatin was given to patients in the Group U at a dose of 20 × 104 U before anesthetic. No ulinastatin was given to patients in the Group C. Patients′venous blood samples for T-lymphocyte subset (CD3+,CD3+CD4+,CD3+CD8+) and CD3+CD4+/ CD3+CD8+ ratio calculation were collected before the surgery (T0) and at 0 h (T1),1st day (T2),3rd day (T3) after the surgery. Results CD3+ had less difference at T1~3 compared with T0 in the Group C but raised obviously at T2~3 in the Group U. CD3+CD4+ were only raised at T3 compared with T0 but raised obviously at T2~3 in the Group U. CD3+CD8+ were raised obviously at T2~3 compared with T0 in the Group C but had less difference in the Group U. CD3+CD4+/CD3+CD8+ had less difference at T1~3 compared with T0 in the Group C but raised obviously at T3 in the Group U. Conclusion The application of ulinastatin in laparoscopic surgery could significantly produce protective effect on T-cytoimmunity.

Objective To investigate the related factors of clinical incidence and the ultrasound diagnostic value of endometrial polyps (EMP).Methods A total of 278 patients with clinical abnormal vaginal bleeding, menorrhagia, infertility, cervical polyps or physical examination showing EMP received vaginal ultrasound and hysteroscopy. The related clinical factors were recorded and single factors and multivariate unconditional Logistic regression analysis were carried. Results The univariate analysis showed that the number of pregnancy, menopause, placing intrauterine device, oral comtraceptives, history of hormone therapy, chronic endometritis, cervical polyp, merger endometriosis and obesity were the statistically significant factors of EMP incidence (P < 0.05 or < 0.01),which were used as dependent variables for multivariate Logistic regression analysis, indicating that menopause, chronic endometritis, history of hormone therapy and cervical polyp significantly affecting EMP incidence (P < 0.05),with OR values of 4.068,4.122,3.770 and 3.983 respectively. Conclusion Menopause, chronic endometritis, history of hormone therapy, cervical polyps are the related risk factors of EMP.

Objective To investigate the expressions of heparanase(Hpa) and basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF) as well as their relationship with angiogenesis in human ovarian carcinoma.MethodsForty-one ovarian carcinoma specimens resected from the patients diagnosed with ovarian carcinoma from January 2003 to November 2007 were examined by immunohistochemistry for the expressions of Hpa and bFGF and microvessel density(MVD).ResultsHpa highly expressed in ovarian carcinoma, and its expression was positively correlated with MVD and bFGF expression(r=0.351,P

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(20):-
Objective To examine the relationship of heparanase expression and age, clinicopathological features and prognosis of ovarian cancer patients. Methods Forty-one ovarian cancer specimens, from the patients admitted to the 3 hospitals of our university during the period of Jan 2003 to Nov 2005, were of serous carcinoma (22 cases) and mucous carcinoma (10 cases) and other types (9 cases), of which 16 were well and moderately differentiated and 25 poorly differentiated. Ten specimens of normal ovarian tissues were taken as normal controls. The heparanase expression was detected in all specimens and its relationship with histologic type, differentiation, FIGO stage and prognosis of the ovarian cancer was analyzed. Results The positive rate of heparanase expression was 80.48% in ovarian cancer tissues and 10.00% in normal ovarian tissues (P

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of the demonstration for morphologic characteristics of pulmonary vein(PV)and left atrium(LA)with 64-multislice computed tomography(MSCT).Methods Between February 2006 and February 2007,we studied morphologic characteristics of the pulmonary vein and left atrium in 88 patients undergone 3D imaging and virtual endoscopy with 64-slice MSCT scanner.46 patients in atrial frillation(AF)group and 42 subjects without history of AF in control group. Results 1.64-slice MSCT can reconstruct properly the morphology, number, size of orifice and flow route of pulmonary veins;among them, the sizes of orifice of pulmonary veins in AF group and control group showed no significant difference.2.The reconstruction images of left atrial appendages(LAA)showed that there were two kinds of morphologic variation existing at the crista between left auricle and left superior pulmonary vein with the continuatum of the left superior and inferior pulmonary veins.3.The reconstruction images, also revealed 3 types of left atrial top;including convex type(9%),concave type(32.9)and plateau type(58.1%);with approximately 12.5% of local convexity. Conclusion Clear demonstration of pulmonary vein and left atrium through 3D reconstruction of MSCT provides higher successful rate of RFCA for AF with simultaneous decrease of complications
