3.The experimental study on melatonin gastro intestinal motility and plasma levels of stress hormones in overtraining rat.
Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2015;31(5):411-413
OBJECTIVETo study the effect of melatonin on the gastrointestinal motility and plasma levels of the stress hormone in overtraining rats.
METHODThirty adult SD rats were randomly divided into three groups (n = 10): control group, over-training group, melatonin intervention group. 30 min before each training, rats in the control and over-training groups were fed with normal saline (15 mg/kg) once a day and 5 times per week, while rats in the melatonin intervention group were administrated with melatonin, perfusion in the intervention group (15 mg/kg). Excessive training group and melatonin intervention group rats were subjected to excessive training at 5 times a week for 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, the gastric emptying rate, small intestinal propulsion ratio and levels of plasma motilin (MTL) and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), cortisol (CORT) and catecholamines (CA) were observed in all groups.
RESULTSCompared with the control group, the gastric emptying rate, small intestinal propulsion ratio and levels of plasma MTL, CORT and CA were increased significantly (P < 0.01) while the content of CGRP was reduced (P < 0.01) in over-training group. After treated with melatonin, this trend was reversed, that was, the gastric emptying rate, small intestinal propulsion ratio and levels of plasma MTL, CORT and CA were surpressed significantly (P < 0.01) while the content of CGRP was improved obviously (P < 0.01) in over-training group.
CONCLUSIONMelatonin plays an important role in protecting gastrointestinal tract from dysfunction, in which MTL, CGRP, CORT and CA are all involved.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2009;29(6):663-667
Objective To explore the influencing factors of daunorubicin (DNR) induced apoptosis in Jurkat cells of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Methods Jurkat cells were treated with different concentrations of DNR(0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.5 and 1 μg/mL)or pretreated with N-acetylcysteine (NAC). Cell proliferation was detected by MTT assay, cell apoptosis was observed by Hoechst/PI, reactive oxygen species (ROS) level and apoptosis were determined by flow cytometry, and the expression of survivin, bax, bcl-2 and bcl-xl mRNA was examined by RT-PCR. Results DNR siguificantly inhibited the proliferation of Jurkat cells. After treatment with 0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, 1 μg/mL DNR and pretreated with NAC for 24 h, ROS levels were (7.98±0.55)%, (8.88±0.86)%, (9.46±0.98)%, (17.48±2.98)%, (24.46±2.43)% and (11.59±1.29)%, respectively, and cell apoptosis rates were (11.41±1.44)%, (34.96±3.32)%, (45.58± 3.12)%, (84.19±2.65)%, (87.93±1.74)% and (80.47±0.63)%, respectively. After pretreatment with NAC, the levels of ROS were siguifieantly inhibited (P < 0.01). There was no significant difference in apoptosis rates between treatment with 0.5μg/mL DNR and pretreatment with NAC(P>0.05). The expression of bax mRNA was down regulated and the expression of survivin, bcl-2 and bcl-xl was up regulated (P < 0.05). Conclusion DNR can induce apoptosis of Jurkat cells. ROS may participate in the DNR induced Jurkat cell apoptosis, and apoptosis-related gene bax, bcl-2, bcl-xl and survivin may interact with ROS in the regulation of DNR induced Jurkat cell apoptosis.
5.Comparison of three methods for measuring C reaction protein
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(11):1470-1470,1473
Objective To compare the results of three methods for measuring C reaction protein. Methods 100 patients were collected from our hospital, and three different methods for measuring C reaction protein were used to analyze the level of C reaction protein. Results Correlation analysis showed that the correlation between immunoturbidimetric assay and immunochromatography was higher. The differences of three methods assayed the C reaction protein were significant (P <0.05 )among normal people by the variance analysis, but had not statistical significance among abnormal people (P >0.05).The differences among all of test peo-ple were significant(P <0.05).Conclusion Detection of C reaction protein was important for diagnose inflammatory diseases.

The application of PACS in the teaching is an hot focus in current medical imaging teaching reformation , and the establishing of independent medical imaging teaching case database based on PACS-HIS is the first and key of construction of teaching PACS(T-PACS). Several key steps of designing and constructing database will be discussed in this paper. ①To customize case classifi-cation and code according to the medical imageology textbook. ②To construct the independent case database meeting the teaching needs. ③To establish a set of mechanism of collection teaching cases based on real time in clinical PACS environment. ④development of experiment teaching application etc.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2011;10(7):861-863
A total of 120 medical students were surveyed to investigate the current status of communication between medical students and old patients and the awareness of medical laws. The questionnaire shows many students don't have enough knowledge of communication skills and medical laws. Furthermore, the most important reason of the medical disputes is the lack of communication between doctors and patients so the cultivation of communication skills and legal knowledge should be strengthened.

Objective To explore the changes of serum nitric oxide(NO) and trace element Zinc in children with pneumonia and their clinical significance. Methods The observing group contained 48 patients with pneumonia in our hospital from Oct.2005 to May 2006,who were collected 3 mL of blood sample on empty stomach on the second day.Twenty-six of them had been collected serum during their convalescence stage. The control group contained 20 children, who were healthy in the same stage. The levels of NO of 48 pneumonia,26 convalescence stage(recovery group) and 20 healthy patients were determined by UV-2100 spectrophotometer. The Zinc in serum was determined by P-E503-mode atomic absorption spectrophotometric analysis antigenic in those patients.Blood viscosity was measured and analyzed with the statistic analysis SPSS 10.0 software. Results The levels of NO in pneumonia children[(57.76?19.41) ?mol/L] were significantly higher than that in control group [(25.09?5.51) ?mol/L] and recovery group[(30.08?8.05) ?mol/L](P_a
