2.Facial hormone-dependent dermatitis: a clinical analysis of 68 cases
Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2010;16(3):164-166
Objective To explore the incidence of facial hormone-dependent dermatitis, and to raise the healing rate of it. Methods We applied non-steroid drug topically, cold compress combined with anti-histamine agents to treat facial hormone-dependent dermatitis in 68 cases. The results were compared before and after the treatment. Results There were significantly clinical effects of non-steroid drug topically, cold compress combined with antihistamine agents on facial hormone-dependent dermatitis, with healing rate of 82. 4 % , and effective rate of 100 %. Conclusions In order to reduce the incidence of facial hormone-dependent dermatitis, we should follow the principal of applying steroid agent strictly to treat facial dermatitis. Meanwhile, there is significantly clinical effects of non-steroid drug with topical use and cold compress combined with antihistamine agents on facial steroid-dependent dermatitis.
3.Literature Analysis of 1 Case of Allergic Dermatitis Induced by Meropenem
China Pharmacy 2005;0(24):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the general regularity and characteristics of adverse drug reaction caused by meropenem, and to provide reference for rational use of drugs.METHODS:Vesicle and bullous change occurring in one patient with allergic dermatitis, age of 80,treated with meropenem were analyzed.Literatures about meropenem-induced ADR reported in domestic pharmaceutical journals from Jan.1994 to Dec.2009 were collected and analyzed statistically.RESULTS:Meropenem rarely caused ADR.The most clinical manifestations were diarrhea, rash and abnormality of liver function.CONCLUSION:Meropenem-induced ADR case is rare as well as allergic dermatitis.Great importance should be attached to meropenem-induced ADR.
4.Evaluation of visual function in cataract patients after phacoemulsification
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2011;29(4):377-380
Lens opacity attenuates the contrast sensitivity and clarity of eye due to scattering of light, which leads to poor vision in cataract patients.Phacoemulsification with primary intraocular lens is the primary surgical approach. Some complaints of vision discomfort commonly occur although the vision acuity is good.It is,therefore, vital for us to seek an objective evaluation system of visual quality after cataract surgery.Contrast sensitivity test and visual questionnaire offer valuable input for this issue.Contrast sensitivity can estimate vision function more accurately to better measure visual impairment preoperatively and vision outcome after cataract extraction.

7.Dynamic changes of aciduric virulence factor membrane-bound proton-translocating ATPase of Streptococcus mutans in the development of dental caries.
West China Journal of Stomatology 2016;34(2):200-204
OBJECTIVETo observe the dynamic changes of membrane-bound proton-translocating ATPase (F-ATPase) in the development of dental caries, the expression of Streptococcus mutans F-ATPase under different pH concentrations and during the development of dental caries is analyzed.
METHODSStreptococcus mutans cultured under different pH (pH4.0-7.0) concentrations and containing 5% glucose and no glucose containing BHI were collected. RNA was extracted. Subsequently, F-ATPase gene was detected using real-time polymerase chain reaction. Male Wistar rats were divided randomly into caries group and control group. The rats in the caries group were fed caries feed and 5% glucose water, whereas those of control group were fed normal feed. Total RNA was extracted from plaque samples, which were collected from rats' oral cavity every two weeks. F-ATPase gene was detected by real-time PCR. In the 11th week, the upper and lower jaw bone specimens of rats were taken, and molar caries damage assessed.
RESULTSThe expression of F-ATPase in the caries group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). In addition, the gene was expressed highest in pH5.0 and the lowest in pH4.0 (P<0.05). 2) The expression of F-ATPase progressively increased during the caries development in both groups; expression in the caries group was higher than that in control group (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONAcid-resisting viru-lence factor F-ATPase is related closely with the incidence and development of dental caries.

9.Research progress of the mechanism of hepatic injury after cardiopulmonary bypass
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(08):-
Since the first launching of heart lung bypass machine in animal model in 1937,cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB) has become more and more consummate, but it still brings about many complications, including pulmonary, renal and hepatic dysfunctions.Among these complications, hepatic dysfunction plays an important role in the impairment after cardiac operations. The liver function indices such as aspartate aminotransferase,glutamate-pyruvate transaminase, bilirubin and alkaline phosphatase will step up obviously during 3 to 5 days after the operation. The physiological changes deteriorate patient's condition, and even influence the prognosis. This clinical phenomenon puzzles cardiac surgeons. All these demand us to answer the following questions: Is the cardiopulmonary bypass harm the liver? What's the mechanism? We review the different researches on hepatic injury after cardiopulmonary bypass.
10.The serum TSH,TgAb,TpoAb value to the diagnosis of thyroid diseases
Chongqing Medicine 2013;(32):3875-3877,3880
Objective To investigate the serum levels of Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH ) ,Thyroglobulin antibody (TgAb) and Peroxidase antibodies(TpoAb) in patients with different thyroid diseases and to explore the relationship between the 3 indexes with thyroid diseases .Methods 383 cases of thyroid diseases were divided into six groups ,simple adenoma of throid group(TA , n=30) ,nodular goiter group(NG ,n=59) ,papillary thyroid hyperplasia group(PTH ,n=36) ,nodular goiter with adenoma group (NG+ TA ,n=196) ,hashimoto′s thyroiditis(HT ,n=13) ,throid carcinoma group(TC ,n=49) .The relationship between concentra-tion of FT3 ,FT4 ,TSH ,TgAb ,TpoAb in serum and thyroid diseases incidence was analyzed .Results (1)The serum TSH concen-tration had statistically sinificance between group HT with group TA and NG ,group PTH and TA+NG group(P<0 .05) .Despite the concentration of serum TSH in TC group was in a high level near to the upper limit ,there was no statistically significance ver-sus other groups .(2)In group HT and TC ,the increased rate of TSH and positive rate of TgAb and TpoAb were significantly high-er than in group BT (P<0 .05) .(3)The double positive rate of TgAb and TpoAb ,the single positive rate of TpoAb in group HT and TC were higher than those in group BT (P<0 .05) .Conclusion There was a close correlation between serum TSH ,TgAb , TpoAb concentration and thyroid disease ,especially closely associated with HT and TC .Raised TSH and TpoAb positive have im-portant reference value in diagnosis of TC .
