1.Clinical studies of U8 similar bioelectricity stimulation therapy of infertility with gracile endometrium

Objective Observe the effect of of U8 similar bioelectricity stimulant therapy of infertility with gracile endometrium on endometrium reception .Methods 80 cases of patients in 252 natrual period with infertility caused by poor endometrial develop-ment for unknown reasons were randomly divided into two groups .The treatment group was intervened by U8 similar bioelectricity stimulant other day from the eighth day of menstruation until the day to inject HCG .After ovulation ,patients were sustained by progestin with a dose of 20 mg per day .The control group was given estradiol valerate with a dose of 2mg per day from the eighth day of menstruation until the day to inject HCG .After ovulation ,patients were sustained by progestin with a dose of 20mg per day as well .To compare the generral conditions on HCG injection day of the two groups anterior-posterior :both groupsal thickness and types ,parameters of intramembrane and submucosal uterine blood flow ,biochemical pregnancy rates and clinical pregnancy rates . Results The endometrial thickness and types on HCG injection day in treatment group were improved significantly (P<0 .05) . The parameters of intramembrane and submucosal uterine blood flow were better than the control ,there was a significant difference ( P<0 .05) .And the clinical pregnancy rate of treatment group was higher than that of control group there was a significant differ-ence(P<0 .05) .Conclusion U8 similar bioelectricity stimulation can promote the grow th of endometrium ,improve the endometrial receptivity and the clinical pregnancy rate .
2.Development of liquid bandage used for emergency care of war wound

Objective To develop a liquid bandage for self aid of war wound.Methods Solution A and B were prepared containing functional polymers derived from the biocompatible poly (ethylene glycol) and hyaluronic acid,which had ability of fast crosslinking reaction when they were mixed.Among them,A solution mainly comprised of mercapto group-containing hyaluronic acid derivative (HA-SH),water-solubility starch,propylene glycol,benzoic acid and etc.B solution contained pentaerythritol tetraacrylate derivative (4arm-PEG-Acrylate) and benzoic acid.The structure of mercapto group-containing hyaluronic acid derivative was confirmed by IR,1H-NMR and etc.HA-SH and 4arm-PEG-Acrylate were formulated to different concentrations (W/V) in different buffers.The two kinds of solution were mixed in different ratios,and in situ crosslinking hyaluronic acid hydrogel was obtained;the crosslinking time was recorded.The adhesive force and waterholding capacity of the hydrogel after crosslinking were measured by adding excipients such as water-solubility starch.Results In case the concentration of HA-SH and 4arm-PEG-Acrylate was 2% and pH value was 11,the hydrogel film on wound skin would be quickly formed in 20 seconds for wound dressing after spraying A and B solution onto the wound skin.Conclusion The liquid bandage has strong adhesive force,high water-holding capacity and controllable crosslinking time,so it could be used as a novel wound dressing for war wound.

4.The factors and treatments of lower urinary tract injury caused by tension-free vaginal tape procedure

Objective To discuss the influent factors and managements of lower urinary tract injury caused by tension-free vaginal tape (TVT) procedure. Methods From Mar.2001 to Feb.2011,609stress urinary incontinence (SUI) patients were trested by TVT.Lower urinary tract injury appeared in 39 cases (6.4%),which age from 39 to 78 years (average age 52.7 ± 18.3).The history of disease was 2 to 12 years.Preoperative SUI types were 12 cases of Ⅱ type SUI,22 cases of Ⅱ/Ⅲ type SUI and 5 cases of Ⅲ type SUI.The patients who had low urinary tract injury were retrospective analyzed to figure out the causes and influent factors,and recorded the treatments and follow-ups. Results 39 patients (6.4%) suffered from low urinary tract injury,including 36 oases (5.9%) of bladder perforation and 3 cases of urethral injury.In these 39 patients,34 (87.2%) patients had history of pelvic surgeries,including 18 (52.9%) cases of total hysterectomy,9 (26.5%) cases of cesarean section delivery,4 (11.8%) cases of hysteromyomectomia and 3 (8.8%) cases of ovarian surgery.All of the 36 bladder peeroration patients were re-punctured and the catheter was kept for 4 - 5 d.Three urethral injury patients were re-punctured after the urethral rupture was sutured and the catheter was kept for 2 weeks.All the 39 patients were cured and discharged.No urinary fistula,infection or other postoperative complications occurred. Conclusions The history of pelvic surgery may be an important risk factor of the lower urinary tract injury,which should pay attention.If the bladder perforation occurred,re-puncture should be taken by adjust the direction.If there was a urethral injury,the re-puncture should be taken after the suturing of the urethral rupture.
5.Evaluation of the psychosocial status of fluorosis patients in fluorosis epidemic areas.

OBJECTIVETo explore the psychosocial effect of fluorosis on patients in fluorosis epidemic areas.
METHODSMultistage, stratified, clustered and random sampling method was used in this survey. Totally 416 inhabitants of 12, 15 and 35-44 years of age from rural fluorosis epidemic areas in Hebei province were selected. Dental fluorosis was classified by Dean's index (DI). A total of 178 patients with different types of fluorosis were involved in a psychosocial questionnaire investigation which included six five-point subscales, including attitude to teeth, subjective well-being, life satisfaction, interpersonal or social anxiety, effect of self-esteem, impact on behavior.
RESULTSFluorosis prevalence in fluorosis epidemic areas of Xingtai in Hebei province was 71.20%, and significant difference existed among three age groups (Pearson Chi-square value = 167.51, P < 0.01). With the increase of DI score, the average value of subscale "attitude to teeth" rising, ranging from 2.58 to 3.51, and value of "subjective well-being" was also increasing, ranging from 2.35 to 2.9. Statistical difference of subscale average value was found only in these two subscales ("attitude to teeth": F = 4.787, P < 0.01; "subjective well-being": F = 2.538, P < 0.05). "Attitude to teeth" was significantly different between control group and moderate group (F = 0.52, P < 0.01) and between control group and severe group (F = 0.72, P < 0.01). While significant difference of "subjective well-being" could only be found between control group and severe group (F = 0.56, P < 0.01). According to the bivariate correlation analysis, strong correlation could be found between the degree of fluorosis and the average value of sub-scales.
CONCLUSIONSThe psychosocial impact of fluorosis on patients in fluorosis epidemic areas mainly appeared in two aspects, i.e. attitude to teeth and the perception of well-being, especially in severe group.

6.Effect of yirong oral liquid on the reperfusion injury in rats with cerebral infarction undergoing thrombolysis.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of Yirong Oral Liquid (YROL) on reperfusion injury in rats with cerebral infarction undergoing thrombolysis.
METHODSClinical reperfusion under thrombolysis was simulated by applying thrombolysis on reversible local cerebral ischemic rat model. In the rat model, effect of YROL on parameters concerning anti-oxidation capability, cerebral edema and ultrastructure of brain were observed.
RESULTSYROL could alleviate the cerebral edema after reperfusion, markedly increase the activity of superoxide dismutase in blood plasma, decrease the content of malonyldialdehyde, inhibit the post-reperfusion lipid peroxidation, and significantly reduce the ischemia/reperfusion injury of nerve cells in brain of rat.
CONCLUSIONYROL has definite protecting effect on brain.

7.In vitro anti-tumor effect of human dendritic cells vaccine induced by astragalus polysacharin: an experimental study.

OBJECTIVETo explore the in vitro anti-tumor effect and mechanism of dendritic cell (DC) tumor vaccine induced by astragalus polysacharin (APS).
METHODSPeripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) isolated from human peripheral blood. DCs obtained from human peripheral blood were cultivated and added with culture solution for in vitro inducing them to immature DCs. On the 5th day of culture, 100 microg/mL (as the final concentration) APS was added to cells in the APS group. DCs were induced to mature in the cytokine groups by adding 20 ng/mL rhTNF-alpha (as the final concentration). Changes of morphology and phenotype of DCs were observed. Mature DCs were sensitized with tumor antigen SGC-7901 and co-cultured with allogeneic T cells. The proliferative function of T lymphocytes was detected by MTT assay. Levels of IL-12 and IFN-gamma in co-cultured supernatant were detected by ELISA. Cytotoxic lymphocytes (CTL) activated by DC were co-cultured with tumor cell SGC-7901. The specific killing capacity of CTL to target cells was detected by LDH release assay.
RESULTSThe morphological observation and phenotypic identification of APS induced DCs were in accordance with the characteristics of mature DCs. APS induced mature DCs could stimulate the proliferation of allogeneic T lymphocytes. The proliferation index of T cells increased with increased ratio of stimulator cells to effector cells (P < 0.05). Levels of IL-12 and IFN-gamma in co-culture supernatant significantly increased in a time-dependent manner (P < 0.05). CTL cells activated by sensitization of DCs could significantly kill tumor cells, and the killing effect increased along with increased effector-to-target ratio.
CONCLUSIONAPS could in vitro induce DCs to mature, promote its antigen-presenting capacity, effectively activate CTLs, and enhance anti-tumor function of the organism.

8.Association between the urinary microalbumin/creatinine ratio and cardiovascular risk factors among elderly community subjects.

OBJECTIVETo determine the value of the urinary microalbumin/creatinine ratio (UACR) and the relationship between UACR and traditional cardiovascular risk factors among elderly community subjects.
METHODSA representative population in Shanghai rural district aged more than 65 years who participated in the heart health survey of the key projects in the national science and technology pillar program in the eleventh five-year plan period of China were sampled via a clustered complex sampling method. A midstream collection from the first morning void collected was used to measure the urinary microalbumin, the urinary creatinine and the UACR. Baseline information including traditional cardiovascular risk factors were obtained by standard questionaire to analyze the distribution status of UACR in the population with or without the risk factors.
RESULTS(1) There were 1718 subjects (721 males) of (73.3 ± 5.5) years included in this study. (2) The prevalence of with at least one cardiovascular risk factor was 78.00% in this cohort, the top there risk factors were dyslipidemia (61.06%), hypertension (44.59%) and diabetes (13.80%). (3) The median (the lower quartile-the upper quartile) of the UACR of the population without cardiovascular diseases and risk factors was 13.81 (6.03 - 26.51) µg/mg. The level of UACR was significantly higher in females than that in males [17.12 (7.28 - 33.28) µg/mg vs. 5.49 (2.92 - 9.76) µg/mg, P < 0.01]. (4) The level of UACR in population with hypertension, diabetes or dyslipidemia was 16.27 (6.65 - 42.00) µg/mg, 26.27 (10.92 - 76.65) µg/mg and 16.39 (6.98 - 41.03) µg/mg respectively, all exceeding that of the healthy group (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). (5) The levels of UACR increased in proportion to the increase of cardiovascular risk factor numbers, the UACR of the population with 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 cardiovascular risk factors were 13.81 (6.03 - 26.51) µg/mg, 15.76 (6.79 - 36.44) µg/mg, 13.82 (5.68 - 34.43) µg/mg, 16.47 (6.07 - 50.56) µg/mg and 18.63 (11.26 - 83.09) µg/mg, respectively. The population with 4 cluster of cardiovascular risk factors posed the higher level of UACR than that of population with 0 cardiovascular risk factors (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSThe three most common risk factors of cardiovascular diseases among the elderly community subjects aged more than 65 years are dyslipidemia, hypertension and diabetes, all of which are related to the elevation of UACR.

9.Effect of microemulsion technology on release of compounds in Zhitong cataplasm and content variation.

To study the varieties of adhesives in gels on the basis of previous studies, dosage of adhesives required for forming of gels by using the single factor design, as well as the drug loading capacity of gels with the adhesiveness and stickiness as the scoring indicators, in order to determine the forming method of analgesic micro-emulsion gel. Subsequently, the improved Franz diffusing cell method was adopted to study the release of water-soluble components and liposoluble components in analgesic gels, with imperatorin and ferulic acid as index components. The results showed that analgesic micro-emulsion gel could promote the release of imperatorin and ferulic acid. Finally, HPLC was used to detect that the loss amount of volatile components in analgesic micro-emulsion gel was 23.13% lower than that in the original analgesic gel. In the experiment, we finally prepared finished products of micro-emulsion gel, discovered that the micro-emulsion technology is helpful to improve the synchronous release of water-soluble components and liposoluble components in prescriptions and can reduce the loss of volatile components.

10.Effect of Tongxinluo on nestin and vascular endothehal growth factor mRNA expression in rat brain tissue after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the expressions of nestin and vascular endothehal growth factor (VEGF) mRNAs in rat brain tissue after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury and their changes in response to Tongxinluo (a traditional Chinese herbal preparation) treatment.
METHODSCerebral ischemia was induced in rats by temporary middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) followed by treatment with Tongxinluo at high and low doses. On days 3, 7, 14 and 21 after MCAO, nestin and VEGF mRNA expressions in the ependyma, subventricular zone (SVZ), and hippocampal subdentate gyrus zone (HDG) in the ischemic hemisphere were quantitatively analyzed using immunohistochemistry and RT-PCR.
RESULTSCompared with the sham-operated group, the rats with cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury showed significantly increased nestin-positive neurons and VEGF mRNA expression in the SVZ and HDG 7, 14 and 21 days after MCAO (P<0.05). Treatment with Tongxinluo, especially at high doses, significantly increased the number of nestin-positive neurons and VEGF mRNA expression in the rats 7, 14 and 21 days after MCAO (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONFocal cerebral ischemia in rats results in rapid response and proliferation of neural stem cells in the SVZ and HDG in the ischemic hemisphere possibly by increasing VEGF mRNA expression in the adjacent tissues around the ischemic focus. Tongxinluo may enhance the differentiation and proliferation capacity of the neural stem cells after MCAO by inducing the expression of VEGF mRNA.
