Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(25):-
To observe the effect of interlocking intramedallary nail transplantation on homonymy fracture of shaft of tibia and femur. Totally 34 patients with traumatic homonymy fractures of middle-inferior 1/3 segment femurs and middle-superior 1/3 segment tibias were selected from Henan Luoyang Orthopedics Hospital from November 2000 to December 2005. Ti-alloy interlocking intramedallary nail made in Wujin Ter-factory of Jiangsu province was applied. To select the fron-outside patella opening approach, a needle was thread to femur and tibia step by step. Follow-up was performed at least 6 months after operation. The fractures of 34 patients got dissection positioning and synostosis. Functional evaluation of postoperative knee joint was good. Inserted bone nails were fixed, and there were no bad events such as cinched, breakdown nails and infections or side effects. It indicated that the modus operandi is simple and satisfactory to select the fron-outside patella opening approach and interlocking intramedallary nail to treat homonymy fracture of shaft of tibia and femur.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2016;30(1):76-77
We report a rare case of pleomorphic adenoma arising from the nasal septum. A 37-year-old woman presented with a 1-year-history of right-sided occasional epistaxis. Computed tomographic scans revealed an oval mass in the right nasal cavity. The tumor was removed endoscopically with endonasal approach. The microscopic finding showed numbers of myoepithelial cells and duct-like structures consisting of loose myxoid stroma. This lesion had histological characteristics of a pleomorphic adenoma, and this was confirmed by immunohistochemical expression of cytokeratin, S-100 protein and SMA. Her post-operative course was uneventful, and she is currently free from the disease 1.5 years after surgery.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Infectious Diseases 2014;7(5):441-446
Objective To screen and analyze microRNA (miRNA) molecules associated with immune clearance in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB).Methods Twelve hospitalized CHB patients and 9 healthy individuals from Taizhou People's Hospital during June 2011 and August 2012 were enrolled.miRCURYTM chip was used to identify differential expression patterns of miRNA.The target genes of differentially expressed miRNA molecules were predicted by TargetScan,miRBase and miRanda databases, and their molecular pathways and functions were analyzed with bioinformatic methods. Results Compared with healthy individuals,52 differentially expressed miRNA molecules were identified in PBMCs of CHB patients, including 33 up-regulated and 19 down-regulated ones. With TargetScan,miRBase and miRanda databases,354 target genes were predicted in up-regulated miRNA molecules, and 1 935 target genes were predicted in down-regulated miRNA molecules.Gene ontology (GO) and Pathway analysis showed that several molecular pathways might be affected by up or down-regulated miRNA molecules.miRNA-mRNA network analysis showed that some target genes might be regulated by miRNA molecules like hsa-miR-520d-5p,hsa-miR-106a-Sp,hsa-miR-30a-5p and hsa-miR-29b-3p,and constituted a complex molecular network. Conclusion There are several miRNA molecules with abnormal expressions in CHB patients, which may be involved in immune clearance through the regulation of target genes and molecular pathways.

To investigate the effect of C/EBP βon the neuroinflammation.Recently,neuroinflamma-tion research mainly focused on C/EBP β,more and more researches indicated that C/EBP βmay play an important role in neurodegenerative diseases. We searched the published papers in PubMed,CNKI,and Wan Fang date bases in June 2015.The key words were used asCCAAT enhancer binding protein beta,Neu-ron,Neuroinflammationand so on.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, we summaried and analyzed the literatures.Eventually,42 articles were adapted, most of which were foused on the functions and mechanisms of C/EBP βin neuroinflammation.C/EBP βparticipate in multiple signaling pathways of neu-roinflammation,and the regulation mechanism is complicated.Abrogation of C/EBPβexpression or its down-regulation by gene regulation may may serve as a therapeutic target to attenuate deleterious effects in neural tissue and ultimately prevent the development of neurodegenerative disorders.

Objective To investigate the prenatal diagnosis and prenatal genetic conselling of pseudomosaic trisomy 20. Methods One case of pseudomosaic trisomy 20 was analyzed and relative literatures were reviewed. Results A 31-year-old gravid 1, para 0 woman underwent amniocentesis at 18 weeks of gestation due to high risk of trisomy 21 during maternal serum screening in September, 2012. Interphase fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) of amniocytes with probes GLP13/GLP21/CSP18/CSPX/CSPY showed a normal result, while cytogenetic analysis of cultured amniocytes revealed a karyotype of 47,XY,+20[7]/46,XY[9]. The level of trisomy in the cultured amniocytes was 7/16. Cordocentesis revealed a karyotype of 46,XY in cultured cord blood cells. Interphase FISH analysis was performed using the probes D20Z1 (20p11.1-q11.1) and D20S1157/20QTEL14 (20 per/qter). Each probe showed two signals in all uncultured amniocytes. The prenatal ultrasound findings were unremarkable. The mosaicism was considered to be pseudomosaicism. After genetic counseling, the parents selected to continue the pregnancy. A healthy male baby was delivered at 39 weeks of gestation. Postnatal cytogenetic analysis revealed a karyotype of 46,XY in peripheral blood lymphocytes. Interphase FISH analysis of the uncultured buccal cast-off cells using the probes D20Z1 and D20S1157/20QTEL14 showed normal results in 100%cells. There was no phenotypic abnormality at the age of seven months. Conclusions When mosaic trisomy 20 is identified in amniocytes, further evaluation and genetic counseling are required. Interphase FISH of the uncultured amniocytes with a chromosome-specific probe is a useful tool for confirmation of the prenatal diagnosis of mosaicism. Genetic analysis of multiple tissues is required postnatally.
