ObjectiveTo explore the effect of Songlingxuemaikang combined with losartan on the blood pressure and quality of life in female patients with menopausal hypertension.Methods87 female patients with menopausal hypertension were randomly divided into combined group (Songlingxuemaikang combined with losartan group,44 cases) and the control group(losartan alone,43 cases).Before and after treatment the ambulatory blood pressure (ABMP) was monitored for 24h,and blood lipids and clinical symptoms were observed.ResultsAfter two months treatment,the blood pressure variability and nighttime blood pressure decrease rate of the combination group significantly reduced,and better than those of the control group( all P ＜0.05) ;The effective rate and efficiency rate of the combination group were 90.9％,63.6％ respectively,and was higher than 74.4％,39.5％ in the control group( x2 =4.15,5.06,all P ＜ 0.05 ).The clinical symptoms improving,total cholesterol ( TC ) reducing,density lipoprotein (LDL-C) lowing in the combination group was superior to the control group( all P ＜ 0.05).ConclusionSonglingxuemaikang combined with losartan in treatment of female patients with menopausal hypertension had a good antihypertensive effect,and could reduce blood pressure variability in menopausal women,improve the symptoms of menopause and lipid metabolism,incresse the quality of lfie of patients with menopausal hypertensive.

Objective To investigate the regulating effect of Jianpixiaoshi Decoction(JPXSD)on gastrointestinal motility in rats of functional dys-pepsia(FD)with spleen deficiency syndrome. Methods Forty healthy male SD rats were randomly divided into four groups:normal control group, model group,model traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)group and model western medicine group. Except for the normal control group,FD model of spleen-deficiency type was established by swimming to exhaustion on alternate days and alternating feeding of cabbage and lard for 25 days. Corre-sponding drugs were then administrated to those four groups:distilled water,JPXSD and Mosapride distilled water solution once a day by gavage for 7 days. Symptoms and body weights of these rats were observed and recorded during the experiment. After the last of drug administration,all groups were fasted for 24 hours. Nutritious semisolid paste marked with ink was given orally to the rats,GER and IPR of 1 hour were detected under anesthe-sia by sodium thiopental and blood were collected at the same time. The concentration of serum SP and SS were measured by ELISA according to the instructions. Results JPXSD improved the symptoms of model rats. Model TCM group showed significantly increased body weight,higher GER, lower IPR,higher serum SP level and lower SS level when compared to model group(P<0.05). Conclusion JPXSD could improve the symptoms of rat with spleen-deficiency,raise its body weight,accelerate the decreased gastric emptying and bring back the hyperactive small intestinal move-ment to normal. The regulating role of JPXSD may be realized through the increase of serum SP level and decrease of SS level.

Objective To study the regulatory effect of paclitaxel injection on vascular endothelial related factors in serum of uterine cancer patients.Methods 30 cases of uterine cancer patients treated with paclitaxel (observation group)and 30 cases of uterine cancer patients treated with surgery (control group)were selected.Chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA)was used to detect expressions of serum tumor necrosis factor(TNF), Interleukin-8(IL-8)and tumor specific growth factor (TSGF).Results Before treatment,there was no significant difference between the serum TNF, IL-8 and TSGF in observation group and control group(P<0.05).At 3 months after treatment,the serum TNF,IL-8 and TSGFwere significantly lower than before treatment ,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Paclitaxel can decrease serum TNF,IL-8 and TSGF in patients with uterine cancer,which provides a new theoretical basis for its anticancer effects.

Objective To detect the expression of hypoxia inducible factor-lα (HIF-1α) in both mRNA and protein and reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels in human epithelial ovarian cancer,and investigate the abnormal state of oxygen metabolism and their interaction in human epithelial ovarian cancer develoment.Methods The expression of HIF-1α in mRNA and protein in epithelial ovarian cancer were detected by real time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemical Elivision plus two-step method,and the level of ROS was detected by fluorescence microplate reader.Results The relative content of HIF-1α mRNA in the epithelial ovarian cancer group was 4.466±0.754,which was higher than that of the benign control group (6.073±1.053) (t =-7.701,P =0.000).The expression of HIF-1α mRNA was raised gradually in tissues of the benign ovarian tumor,early and advanced stage of epithelial ovarian cancer (t =5.301,P =0.000).The expression of HIF-1α mRNA in the epithelial ovarian cancer had positive correlation with grade and lymph node metastasis (t =3.724,-3.851,P =0.000).The positive expression rate of HIF-1 α protein in epithelial ovarian cancer was 63.49 ％ (40/63),which was higher than that of the benign group (U =433,P =0.005),which had positive correlation with lymph node metastasis and stage (x2 =4.289,12.360; P =0.038,0.000).The expression of ROS in the epithelial ovarian cancer was 110.239±18.414,which was higher than that of the benign group (58.366±20.360) (t =11.068,P =0.000),which had positive correlation with grade,lymph node metastasis and stage (t =-2.055,2.816,-4.138; P =0.044,0.007,0.000).There was a moderate positive correlation between the expression of HIF-1α mRNA and ROS in epithelial ovarian cancer (r =0.572,P =0.000),and that was similar in low differentiation group and advanced group,there was a relatively high positive correlation in lymph node metastasis group (r =0.703,P =0.001),there was a relatively low correlation between HIF-1α mRNA and ROS (r =0.376,P =0.002).Conclusion Hypoxia is the basic characteristic of human epithelial ovarian carcers.This study suggested that HIF-1α is associated with human epithelial overaian cancer prognosis.ROS and HIF-1α might be involved in the genesis of human epithelial ovarian cancer,and the regulation of ROS to HIF-1α may play the important roles in the invasion and metastasis process of human epithelial ovarian cancer.The expression of HIF-1α is regulated by ROS at the transcriptional and protein levels,probably mainly on protein level.

Objective:To develop an HPLC method for the determination of capsaicine, dihydrocapsaicin, imperatorin and isoim-peratorin in Guanjie Jietong plasters. Methods:A CAPCELL PAK C18 column was used as the chromatographic column, and the flow rate was 0. 8 ml·min-1. The mobile phase A consisted of methanol-acetonitrile(1∶1), the mobile phase B was of 1% phosphoric acid. The detection wavelength was 280 nm and 254 nm, respectively. Results:There was a good linear relationship between the con-centrations and the peak areas within the range of 0. 298-5. 956μg(r=0. 9998) for capsaicine, 0. 152-3. 044μg(r=0. 999 6) for di-hydrocapsaicin, 0. 018-0. 352 μg(r=0. 999 5) for imperatorin and 0. 010-0. 204 μg(r=0. 999 3) for isoimperatorin. The average re-covery was 97. 8%(RSD=1. 02%), 97. 0%(RSD=0. 76%), 96. 6%(RSD=0. 65%) and 98. 1%(RSD=1. 35%), respectively. Conclusion:The method is convenient, accurate, sensitive and repeatable, which can be used in the determination of capsaicine, di-hydrocapsaicin, imperatorin and isoimperatorin in Guanjie Jietong plasters.

?Objective: To study the effects of endogenous bone morphogenic protein 2(BMP 2) and 6(BMP 6) in rat facial nerve after injury. Methods: Facial nerve trunk was cut and then anastomosed in 30 adult male Sprague Dawley rats,another 6 rats without operation were used as the controls. Every 6 rats were killed 6 ,72 h,1, 2 and 4 weeks respectively after operation and nerve specimens were immunohistochemically examined for BMP 2 and BMP 6 expression. Result:In the control nerve the gray level of BMP 2 and BMP 6 were 210.89?8.21 and 232.03?9.25 respectively. 6, 72 h,1, 2 and 4 weeks after operation the gray level of BMP 2 were 242.83?11.01,240.67?7.91,234.46?5.28,232.12?7.27 and 220.71 ?10.19;that of BMP 6 210.75?5.19,204.08?10.85,198,91?8.58,186.37?4.11 and 184.62? 8.45 ,respectively. Conclusion: BMP 2 may play a role in the early irritable actions when facial nerve was injured. However, BMP 6 might have functions in the regeneration of facial nerve during later period after injury.

Objective: To construct a high effective eukaryotic expre ss ing vector containing mcpr1 gene. Methods: mcpr1 gene w as amplified by PCR from the plasmid T-easy/ mcpr1, then PCR product was in serted into eukaryotic expressing vector pcDNA3.1/V5-His B. The positive recomb inant was identified by PCR analysis, HindIII and BamHI restriction analysis and Sequence analysis. Results: A 400 bp DNA fragment was amplified from the recombinant. Sequence analysis and restriction digest demonstrated tha t the mcpr1 gene was successfully inserted into pcDNA3.1/V5-His B plasmid. Conclusion: The eukaryotic expressed vector pcDNA3.1/V5-His B/ mcpr1 has been successfully reconstructed.

Objective To evaluate the relationship between hypertriglyceridemia and acute pancreatitis.Methods Data was analyzed from 41 patients with acute pancreatits from Apr.1998 to Oct.2000 in our hospital.Of the 13 patients(GroupⅠ) with plasma TG level being higher than 11.3 mmol/L, 8 accompanied with gallstone(61.5%)and 5 without gallstone(38.5%)of the 28 patients (GroupⅡ) with plasma TG level being lower than 11.3 mmol/L,19 accompanied with gallstone(47.3%)and 9 without gallstone(52.7%)RANSON score,morbidity of complications and the level of ALT and AST were compared between two groaps.The correlation between TG and RANSON score was analysed.Results There were significant difference between the two groups on RANSON score,morbidity of complications and level of ALT and AST(P0.05).Conclusion There is an close relationship between hypertriglyceridemia and acute pancreatitis,the high level of plasma TG plags a key a role in acute pancreatitis,patients with acute pancreatitis with hypertriglyceridemia are more likely to have higher morbidity of complications and liver function aggravating.
