1. Biological effect of human-derived recombinant ICOSIg on mouse immature dendritic cells
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2011;32(11):1165-1170
Objective To analyze whether human-derived ICOSIg can bind specifically to ICOSL on mouse immature dendritic celis(DCs) and to explore its biological funciions. Methods The binding of ICOSIg to immature DCs was observed by FCM. The cytotoxic effect of ICOSIg on DCs was examined by Annexin V /PI, CFSE staining, and CCK-8 kit. [3 H] thymine incorporation was used to analyze the blocking effect ICOSIg on mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR). Results Human-derived soluble fusion protein ICOSIg could bind to ICOSL on mouse bone marrow-derived immature DCs and inhibited the MLR, but it neither induced early or late apoptosis of DCs nor affected their proliferation. Concluiion Human-derived ICOSIg constructed in this study has a potent biological function; it has no toxic effect against mouse immature DCs. It is demonstrated that human- derived ICOSIg can sepecifically bind to ICOSL on mouse immature DCs.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(7):621-622
Objective To explore the therapy for herpes zoster (HZ) after renal transplantation. Methods 12 renal transplantation recipients with herpes zoster were treated with acyclovir, ultraviolet rays and nerve block. The pain was assessed with visual analogue scale (VAS). Results The scores of VAS decreased from 9.3 to 2.1 after treatment (P<0.01). The total effective rate was 100%. Conclusion Acyclovir combined with ultraviolet rays and nerve block is a more safe and effective therapy for the herpes zoster in renal transplantation recipients.

Objective:To investigate the expression of HIF-1 and VEGF and the correlation with pathological score of synovium in adjuvant-induce-arthritis rat knee joint. Methods: Models of adjuvant arthritis(AA)in rats were made successfully, the arthral pathological score was calculated, production of HIF-1α and VEGF protein was assayed by histoimmunchemical staining at different stage after CFA inoculation. Results:The HIF-1α and VEGF concentration in experimental group were higher than that in control group, and there was significant difference (P<0.01).And correlation between them was significantly(P<0.01), similar with pathological score of synovium(P<0.01).Conclusion:HIF-1α and VEGF play important roles in the development and progression of synovium of knee joint in AA rat.The interaction of them promote development and progression of neonatal vascular in synovium.

Objective:To evaluate the short-term effect of robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy (RPD) and laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy (LPD) in the treatment of ampullary and periampullary tumor systematically. Methods:A systematic search of the PubMed, Embase and Cochrane library database using the key words "pancreaticoduodenectomy, duodenopanreatectpmy, whipple, laparoscopic, robotic, Da Vinci" . A systematic search of the Sinomed, Wangfang, VIP and CNKI databases including the key words "胰十二指肠切除" , "腹腔镜" , "机器人" , "达芬奇" . To investigate the differences of the conversion rate of laparotomy, incidence of postoperative complications, and the postoperative hospital stay between the RPD group and the LPD group. The software RevMan5.3 was used in this meta-analysis.Results:A total of 4 retrospective cohort studies and 1 001 patients were included in this meta-analysis, including 451 patients in the RPD group and 550 patients in the LPD group. The results of the meta-analysis showed that there were significant differences between RPD group and LPD group for the conversion rate laparotomy ( OR=0.35, 95% CI: 0.24-0.50, P<0.05). There were no significant differences between RPD group and LPD group for the incidence rate of overall complication( OR=1.23, 95% CI: 0.95-1.58, P>0.05), hemorrhage ( OR=0.71, 95% CI: 0.50-1.00, P>0.05), pancreatic fistula ( OR=1.09, 95% CI: 0.80-1.49, P>0.05), delayed gastric empty ( OR=0.81, 95%CI: 0.57-1.14, P>0.05) and hospital stay after surgery ( WMD=-2.87, 95% CI: -1.44-1.70, P>0.05). Conclusions:RPD is as safe as LPD, with the same complication rate. Therefor it is worthy for further application in medical institutions with relevant conditions.

Objective To discuss MRI characteristics of dysplastic gangliocytoma of the cerebellum. Methods MRI manifesta-tions of 13 cases with dysplastic gangliocytoma of the cerebellum verified by operation and pathology were analyzed retrospectively. Results All of 13 cases were located in the cerebellar hemisphere and vermis. The lesions presented striated pattern of iso-intensity signal and hypo-intensity signal on T1-weighted images. The sign of tiger stripes was the feature in dysplastic gangliocytoma on T2-weighted and FLAIR images. All of the tumors showed slightly striated enhancement after intravenous administration of contrast agent. The mass effects of dysplastic gangliocytoma of the cerebellum along with the forth ventricle and brain stem oppressed were seen in all cases.NAA was mildly reduced on magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS)in 7 cases of dysplastic gangliocytoma of the cerebellum. Conclusion There are distinctive manifestations in MRI images for dysplastic gangliocytoma of the cerebellum, which has crucial diagnostic value before operation.

Objective To observe the effect of fluvastatin(Flu) on differentiation and induction of human promyelocytic leukemia HL-60 cells and provide the theoretical foundation for treatment of human promyelocytic leukemia. Methods The cultured HL-60 cells were treated with 20 ?mol?L-1 Flu,the morphological changes of the cell differentiation were examined. The NBT reduction capability was detected in HL-60 cells treated with Flu for 72 h.After HL-60 cells were treated with 20 ?mol?L-1 Flu for 5 d,they were stained with non-specific esterase and the percentage of differentiation cells was analyzed. Results The HL-60 cells treated with Flu showed smaller cell body, reducing proportion of nucleus to cytoplasm, the nucleus tortuosity, fold or sublobe. There were specific granules and vacuoles in cytoplasm, displaying that some cells had differentiated to relative mature cells. As compared with control group, the NBT reduction capability in HL-60 cells treated with Flu for 72 h was significantly higher than that in control cells(P

Objective To compare the clinical effect of different materials dentures in repaired of teeth. Methods A retrospective analysis of 570 patients with framework removable partial dentures , which were divided into the Vitallium 2000 group, the pure titanium group and the Co-Cr alloy group randomly from Jan. 2010 to Dec. 2012 in our hospital. Compare the clinical effect of three groups. Results The emplacement rate (χ2=10.283,P<0.05)and the 2-week adjust rate (χ2=16.262,P<0.05)of three groups were statistical different significantly. The incidence rate of denture stomatitis(χ2=12.773,P<0.05),the masticatory efficiency(t=8.194,P<0.05)and the incidence rate of adverse reactions (χ2= 6.028,P < 0.05)of three groups were statistical different significantly. The patients′satisfaction (χ2=2.191,P>0.05)of three groups weren′t statistical different significantly. The degree of comfort(χ2= 6.827,P < 0.05),the speech satisfaction(χ2= 6.002,P < 0.05) and the chewing speech satisfaction (χ2=5.838,P<0.05)three groups were statistical different significantly. Conclusion The clinical effect of the Vitallium 2000 group is better of weight , strength and stability than other groups. The Vitallium 2000 frame removable partial denture is nontoxic , fastness and no peculiar smell , which could be ensure the aesthetics , the degree of comfort and improve the masticatory efficiency , worthy to recommend its clinical use.
