Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2002;8(4):243-243
Objective To observe the effect of ultraviolet ray on immunity function of patients with cervical spondylopathy. Methods30 cases with cervical spondylopathy were received ultraviolet ray irradiating by the second lumbar vertebra as irradiating center and IgG, IgA, IgM, C3,C4 in blood of cases were tested before and after irradiating. ResultsImmunoglobulins of all cases general decreased after 10 times irradiating, especially IgG (P<0.05), but complements increased. Conclusions The ultraviolet ray irradiation can adjust immunity function of patients with cervical spondylopathy.

Tracheal intubation is an important part in clinical teaching of anesthesiology,it is also the basic skill that each anesthesiologist must master. The distinctive feature of visual technology is intuitive visual, meaning operation process and anatomical structure can be seen directly and clearly. Our department tried to teach tracheal intubation with visual technology.Teachers firstly demonstrated standard incubation with video laryngoscope and explained the related basic theoretical knowledge. Then students practiced the intubation in models until becoming skilled, finally students can practice in real patients. The teaching effect of the modified method was better compared with that of traditional method.

Objective To evaluate efficacy and safety of two methods for gas-filled and liquid-filled balloon of Swan-Ganz catheter to locate the bronchus of pulmonary air leakage. Methods All of 38 cases with pneumothorax were randomly divided into two groups. Group A : the bronchus of pulmonary air leakage were detected by injecting gas into balloon of Swan-Ganz catheter. Group B: the bronchus of pulmonary air leakage were detected by injecting physiological saline into balloon of Swan-Ganz catheter. Results The locating success rate in Group A was 89. 5% (17/19) and Group B was 94. 7% (18/19) ( P>0. 05). The mean time of locating in Group A was (13. 3 ±4. 1) min and Group B was (9. 6 ±3. 2) min( P <0. 05).In Group A, the dislocation rate was 47.4% and adjacent bronchial compression rate was 68.4% , and was respectively higher than Group B 21. 1% and 26. 3% ( P < 0. 05). Patients in both groups were well tolerated without any obvious adverse effects. Conclusion It is a more simple, quicker, the same safe and effective to locate the broken bronchus of pneumothorax by injecting physiological saline into balloon of Swan-Ganz catheter.

Methods:The Shenqi-Yiqi oral liquid was separated on an Agilent HC-C18 column by gradient elution using acetonitrile (A) - 0.1% phosphate (B) as the mobile phase. The flow rate was 1.0 ml/min. The detection wavelengths were 260 nm (chlorogenic acid and Calycosin-7-glucoside), 316 nm (ferulic acid) by wavelength conversion method. Results:The linear ranges of chlorogenic acid, ferulic acid, Calycosin-7-glucoside were 70.40-704.00 μg ( r=0.999 8), 1.36-13.60 μg ( r=0.999 8), 1.28-12.80 μg ( r=0.999 7), the average recovery rate were 99.44% ( RSD=2.54%), 101.06% ( RSD=1.57%), and 98.00% ( RSD=2.09%). Conclusion:This method is convient, rapid and accurate for determinating chlorogenic acid, ferulic acid and Calycosin-7-glucoside in Shenqi-Yiqi oral liquid.

Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2010;26(3):464-467
Objective To assess the value of upper airway narrowing with MSCT under quiet respiration in patients with the obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). Methods CT scan of upper airway was performed in 63 patients with OSAHS during inspiration, expiration and quiet respiration respectively with 16-slice spiral CT. The state of the soft palate, the area of the smallest cross-sectional area of retropalatal and retroglossal space of the upper airway during the different respiratory phase were compared. The correlation between these dimensions and the polysomnography (PSG) results were analyzed. Results Some particular pattern of events occurred in 14 patients during the different phase of respiration, such as hooking of the soft palate, raising of the soft palate, artifacts, etc. These events occurred more often in the expiration phase. The cross-sectional area of the retropalatal space was the smallest during quiet breathing. There were statistically significant differences in the smallest cross-sectional area of retropalatal space among different phases of respiration (F=4.602, P<0.05), also between inspiration and expiration, quiet breathing groups. No statistically significant difference was found between expiration and quiet breathing, nor in the smallest cross-sectional areas of retroglossal space among the three groups (P>0.05). There was positive correlation between the smallest area of retropalatal space and LSaO_2 in quiet breathing and expiration groups (r=0.511, 0.300, P<0.05). Conclusion MSCT scan of upper airway may be a better way to evaluate upper airway narrowing under quiet breathing when patients failed to carry out the required mode (keeping exhalation) or some undesirable events occurred.

Objective To investigate the association between prodromal headache and the propensity of rebleeding after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage.Method Prodromal headache was defined as a sudden attack of severe headache lasting at least one hour with or without accompanying symptoms, not leading to a diagnosis of SAH 4 weeks before the confirmation of subarachnoid hemorrhage. Two hundred and nine patients with aneurymal subarachnoid hemorrhage were enrolled in this research.Age,gender,Hunt-Hess grade,D-dimer, (FBG),site and number of aneurysms and prodromal headache were recorded.Patients were divided into rebleeding group and non-rebleeding group.Comparing the above survey components between two groups was carried out by using case control study method.Age,aneurysm number,D-dimer and fibrinogen of the two groups were analyzed by t test.Prodromal headache, gender, site of aneurysms were analyzed by chi square test.Hunt- Hess grade was analyzed by rank test. Results Twenty-two(10.5%)patients had rebleeding. In the rebleeding group,10 patients(45.5%)had prodromal headache, while in the non-rebleeding group(n=187),21 patients (11.2%)had prodromal headache.Patients with prodromal headache had greater propensity of rebleeding compared with those without prodromal headache(P
