Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2014;49(7):1034-8
Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) technology combined with cluster analysis method was used to classify 75 batches of crystalline ceftriaxone sodium into subtypes, the crystalline characteristics of each subtype were measured with scanning electron microscope (SEM). By comparing some parameters of these subtypes correlated to crystallization process of ceftriaxone sodium, such as salification rate, water content in different subtypes, as well as by studying different lattice stabilities, different compatibilities with rubber closures during accelerated stability tests, the key point to improve the quality of domestic ceftriaxone sodium was disclosed. The results of this paper indicated that the fine structure of the products could be controlled well by improving the salification and crystallization process. As a result, the subtype II of ceftriaxone sodium with high stability can be produced.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2011;27(5):427-429
The levels of triglyceride(TG)and free fatty acid(FFA)in serum, liver, skeletal muscle, and pancreas of lipoprotein lipase gene knockout heterozygous(LPL+/-)mice and C57 mice were determined.Intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test(IPGTT)was performed to evaluate insulin sensitivity and β-cell function. The results showed that the Iipid content in 16 weeks LPL+/- group did not increase significantly. The TG and FFA contents in 28 weeks LPL+/- group were significantly higher than those in control and 16 weeks LPL+/-group(all P<0.05).In 50 weeks LPL+/- group,FFA levels in serum and pancreas, and TG content in pancreas increased significantly compared with other three groups(all P<0.05).The IPGTT result showed that the blood glucose levels increased from 15 to 120 min,not at 0 and 5 min.The blood glucose levels during 30-120 min increased significantly in 50 weeks LPL+/- group compared with other three groups(P<0.05).Fasting insulin(FINS),homoestasis assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)and pancreatic β cell function also increased gradually with age.FINS and HOMA-IR in 28 weeks LPL+/- group were higher than those in control and 16 weeks LPL+/- group. These results suggest that LPL is a key enzyme in lipid metabolism and plays a crucial role in the development of insulin resistance and diabetes.

Objective To investigate the spatial organization of neurons, blood vessel and astrocytes at different time of reperfusion after focal cerebral ischemia in rats. Methods 24 Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham group (n=8), reperfusion 1 day group and reperfusion 2 weeks group. The latter 2 groups were occluded the middle cerebral arteries for an hour and reperfused. All the rats were injected with gelatin ink. The expressions of glial fibrillary acid protein (GFAP) and neuronal nuclear antigen (NeuN) in the brain were observed with immunohistochemistry. Results The vessels located mainly in cortex and nucleus. Most of astrocytes apophysis connected with vessels and neurons. Compared to the sham group, the expression of GFAP increased significantly in ischemic side, and the expression of NeuN decreased 1 day and 2 weeks after ischemia-reperfusion. The vessels decreased in the ischemic side 1 day after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion, and then increased 2 weeks later. Conclusion The organization of neurovascular unit after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion has been observed.

Aim To determine the effect of SYL934 , a novel immunosuppressant, on skin allograft rejec-tion. Methods HTRF-IP1 assay was used to evaluate the agonistic activity of SYL934-P, the active form of SYL934 in vivo, on S1P1 and S1P3 in vitro. SD rat peripheral blood lymphocytes ( PBL ) test and heart rate test was used to assess the in vivo immunosuppres-sive effect and heart rate effect of SYL934 . Mice skin graft transplantation experiment was used to observe the effect of SYL934 on skin allograft refection. ResultsSYL934-P selectively activated S1 P1 but not S1 P3 in vitro. Single orally administration of SD rats with
SYL934 decreased the PBL significantly and played an obviously immunosuppressant role, but did not affect the heart rate. Daily orally administration of mice with SYL934 significantly increased the survival rate of al-lografts of skin slice in mice. Conclusion SYL934 has great selectivity in vitro and good activity in vivo, which indicated it potential use as an anti-rejection drug in skin transplantation.
