2.Animal models of Peyronie's disease: An update.
National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(5):446-449
Peyronie's disease is characterized by local fibrosis of the tunica albuginea and relatively rare clinically. Few relevant basic researches could be retrieved, which might be attributed to the absence of a robust animal model of the disease as well as to its rareness. At present, some animal models available for Peyronie's disease have their own merits and demerits. TGF-β1-induced and Fibrin-induced models are lack of penile curvature and calcification/ossification. A surgical model might be established for the acute phase of the disease. The characteristic of a widespread fibrotic process involving many organs in the spontaneous model is quite different from that of human Peyronie's disease. Therefore, choosing the right model is essential for researches. This paper presents an overview of the animal models of Peyronie's disease, meant to provide some reference for the basic research of the disease.

Objective To investigate the mental health status of middle school students in Three-Gorge area in Chongqing, and to explore the relationship with their life events and coping styles. Methods The Compi-ling of mental health scales for middle school students(MSSMHS),adolescent self-rating Life events checklist and trait coping style questionnaire(TCSQ) were adopted in the study to test the randomly sampled 1 632 middle school students in Three-Gorges area in Chongqing. Results The rate of mental disorder in the samples was 27.5%. The total average scores and each factor of the mental health were positively correlated with the factors of life events(r=0. 29~0.55). Negative coping styles were positively correlated with the total average scores and each factor of the mental health (r=0.38~0.56). Positive coping styles was negatively correlated with anxiety, depression, study pressure(r=-0.07~-0.05). The factors of life events and coping styles explained 27%~49% variation of scores of the mental health total average scores and each factor of the mental health. Conclusion Both life events and the coping styles are the important factors for the mental health of middle school students in Three-Gorge area in Chongqing. Reducing negative life events and coping styles benefits the mental health of middle school students.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2015;21(6):731-736
Objective To create the effective community-based day-care model of mental disability with multiple approaches. Methods 30 subjects with schizophrenia in Taoranting community in Beijing were selected in control group (n=15) and intervention group (n=15). A day-care multiple rehabilitation model had been implemented in the intervention group. They were evaluated with Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) and WHO Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0 (WHO-DAS 2.0). Results The scores of PANSS negative symp-tom, general psychopathological symptom and WHO-DAS 2.0 significantly reduced continually in the intervention group 8 and 12 weeks af-ter intervention (P<0.01). Conclusion Community-based day-care model can improve the rehabilitation of mental disabled people and inte-grate the community resources for the schizophrenics.
7.Experimental study on the effect of intravitreal nonsteroid antiinflamatory drug on the structure and function of retina
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 1996;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the retinal toxicity and verify the safe dose of intravitreal injection of nonsteroid anti inflamatory drug, diclofenac sodium. Methods Twenty eight healthy adult white rabbits were divided at random into 7 groups and received in every right eye the intravitreal injection of a single dose of diclofenac sodium solution ranging from 0.4~1.0 mg/0.1ml respectively, the left eyes were regarded as control ones. Before injection and on the 1st, 3rd, 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th day after injection the electroretinography on both eyes was examined. On the 28th day after injection the retinas of two rabbits of every group were examined by using light microscopy. On the 10th and 30th day after injection the retinal tissues around the optic nerve disk of two eyes from every group at random were tested by using transmission electron microscopy. Results The ratio of amplitude of b wave of electroretinography in 0.4 mg and 0 5 mg groups had no significant difference from groups before injection, the retinal tissues showed no structural changes in light and electron microscopy examination. The ratio of amplitude of b wave of photoptic electroretinography in 0.6 mg groups in the early stage after injection was markedly reduced ( P

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1955;0(03):-
Objective To study the expressions of S100B and glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP) in the central nervous system of Sprague-Dawley rats during postnatal development. Methods Twenty-four male SD rats were divided equally into four groups according to different postnatal times:7-day group,14-day group,21-day group and adult group.Immunohistochemistry was used to investigate the expressions of S100B protein and GFAP in the brain and the spinal cord. Results The amount and density of S100B positive astrocytes decreased significantly in frontal cortex, hippocampus, striatum, substantia nigra and spinal cord during postnatal development. It seemed that the second through the third week after birth was a critical period for these changes. The amount and density of GFAP positive AST increased gradually in the brain, but it was the opposite in the spinal cord.Double-labeled immunofluorescence of S100B and GFAP in hippocampus CA1 area showed that S100B positive stains were evenly distributed in the pyramidal, polymorphic and molecular layers from the seventh till the twenty first day after birth, but apparently decreased in each layer especially in the molecular layer in adult hippocampus while the immunoreactivities of GFAP increased. The proportion of double labeled cells also increased with the aging and more of them were found in the pyramidal and polymorphic layers. Conclusion Different patterns of the expressions of S100B and GFAP exist during postnatal development. It may reflect the different roles of these proteins on the glial cell development. And it may also indicate that the expressions of S100B and GFAP are regulated by different mechanisms during the course of development, which reflects the differentiation of subpopulations of astrocytes during ontogenesis.

OBJECTIVE:To compare clinical efficacy, safety and economy of urokinase and alteplase each combined with Enoxaparin sodium in the treatment of acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). METHODS:80 STEMI pa-tients were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 40 cases in each group. Both groups received Aspirin enteric-coated tablet for antiplatelet aggregation, and Clopidogrel hydrogen sulfate tablet for anticoagulation before thrombolysis. Control group were given urokinase 1 500 000 U added into 0.9% Sodium chloride injection 100 ml,ivgtt, within 30 min;given Enoxaparin sodium injection 7 500 U intramuscularly 12 h after thrombolysis, for 3-5 d. Observation group was given Enoxaparin sodium 60 U/kg,ivgtt,1 mg/ml Alteplase for injection 8 ml with intravenous push, other 42 ml ivgtt within 90 min;continued to receive Enoxaparin sodium with 12 U/(kg·h)micro-pump for 48 h,followed by Low molecular weight heparin calcium injection 5 000 U intramuscularly, bid, for consecutive 5 d. Clinical efficacy of 2 groups were observed, and thrombolytic recanalization situa-tion were observed 30,60,90 and 120 min after thrombolysis. ECG,cost-effectiveness and ADR were also observed. RESULTS:The effective rate of observation group(92.50%)was significantly higher than that of control group(85.00%). The rates of throm-bolytic recanalization in observation group 60,90 and 120 min after thrombolysis were significantly higher than in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). Q wave time,Qwave/Rwave and ST segment deviation of observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those of control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). The total hospitalization cost of obser-vation group was significantly higher than that of control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05);there was no statistical sig-nificance in effective rate and the per unit cost of thrombolytic recanalization rate (P>0.05). The incidence of ventricular aneu-rysm,pericardial effusion, heart failure or cardiac shock, angina pectoris after infarction, severe arrhythmia, death and other as-pects in observation group were significantly lower than in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Alteplase and enoxaparin thrombolysis therapy is better than urokinase and enoxaparin for STMEI in respects of clinical efficacy, and thrombolytic recanalization with less ADR and better safety;urokinase is cheaper and better than alteplase in cost-effectiveness ratio. Both of them can be used after careful consideration.
