Objective To develop the clinical application and the method for functional repair in fa- cial nerve defect in parotideetomy of parotid carainoma. Methods Defect of facial nerve in parotidectomy was repaired by transplantation of sternocleidomastoid muscle-great auricular nerve flap with anastomosis of great auricular nerve-facial nerve under microscope. Results Eight eases of facial nerve defect in parotid carcinoma were repaired by this method. The facial nerve function almost recovered and access to normal dur- ing 3 to 6 month after operation in this series.6 of 8 patients achieved a gradeⅡ,2 of 8 patients achieved a gradeⅢ.Conclusion Reconstruction of facial nerve defect using sternocleidomastoid muscle-great auricu- lar nerve flap can provide better blood supply for the plerosis and regeneration of nerve. The nerve flap also ac- celerate the functional recovery after nerve grafting.

Detection of serum tumor markers in clinical application is simple, which has become an in dispensable means in clinical medical work, and played an important role in the early detection of malignant tumor, benign and malignant tumor differential diagnosis, guiding the stage and predicting prognosis. But because of its sensitivity and specificity have limitations,we should find more new markers.

OBJECTIVETo investigate molding technology of total alkaloids from Sophora alopecuroides freeze-dried powders and observe its inhibition effects on liver transplantation tumor in mice.
METHODWith color, clarity, water-soluble and formability as indexes, single factor tests were adopted to screen type and amount of filler, the concentration of total alkaloids in drug liquid, pH in order to determine optimum prescription of total alkaloids from S. alopecuroides freeze-dried powders, the lowest melting point was determined and freeze drying curve was drafted. Mice hepatoma H22 ascites tumor strain was sterile inoculated in right axillary subcutaneous of mice, and antitumor effect of total alkaloids from S. alopecuroides freeze-dried powders on liver transplantation tumor H22 in mice.
RESULTWhen selected 80 g x L(-1) as mannitol as filler, the concentration of total alkaloids in drug liquid was 25 g x L(-1) and pH 6.5-7.5, freeze-dried effect was optimum with fast reconstitute speed. Average inhibition rate of the big (120 mg x kg(-1)) and medium (60 mg x kg(-1)) dose group of total alkaloids from S. alopecuroides freeze-dried powders on liver transplantation tumor H22 in mice were 56.08% and 35.49%, respectively.
CONCLUSIONPreparation technology was reasonable, reproducible and stable, total alkaloids from S. alopecuroides freeze-dried powders had significant antitumor effect and showed a dose-effect relationship.

Objective To investigate the effect of treatment for frozen shoulder by manipulation release combined with hydraulic pressure distension. Methods In this randomized trial,78 patients with frozen shoulder syndrome randomly divided into three groups were enrolled in the study.28 patients were treated by manipulation release under interscalene brachial plexus anesthesia.23 patients were treated by sodium hyaluronate injection into glenohumeral joint combined with manipulation release.27 patients were treated by hydraulic pressure distension combined with manipulation release. All patients were followed for six months.Effective rate evaluation combined with pain evaluation and functional evaluation were adopted for final evaluation. Results There were significant difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment in each group.Effective rate of hydraulic pressure distension combined with manipulation release was 92.6%,which was superior to manipulation release (78.6% ) and sodium hyahronate injection combined with manipulation release ( 82.6% ).There were no significant difference in functional evaluation of the three groups. Conclusion Hydraulic pressure distension combined with manipulation release under interscalene brachial plexus anesthesia is a successful treatment for idiopathic frozen shoulder.

Objective To study the prospective memory and the severity of the impairment of event- based prospective memory(EBPM)and time-based prospective memory(TBPM)in normally aging adults. Methods We set a neuropsychological battery to measure the education-matched 40 adults and 40 normally aging adults who were given EBPM and TBPM tasks. Results Compared with the young controls(EBPM, 6.25?1.60;TBPM,5.38?0.87),both EBPM(2.50?0.85)and TBPM(4.93?1.07)in the elderly had been impaired, especially EBPM(t = 13.117,P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(21):-
Objective To explore the influence of feeding styles in early stage on children′s weight in different stages. Methods A complete record of 918 healthy infants was selected and then divided into 3 feeding groups:breast feeding, mixed feeding and artificial fee-ding, according to the way of feeding in the first 6 months after birth. Their weights and heights were measured in the 3rd,5th,8th,12th,18th,24th,60th month to conduct the Z score of weight for age (WAZ), weight for height (WHZ) and the body mass index (BMI) of 60-month-old infants. An investigation on the time of adding auxiliary food was conducted. Results The heavier,WAZ and WHZ of breast feeding group in the 3rd month were higher than the other groups, and the differences were statistially significant(F=4.12, 5.66, 5.79 Pa
