2.Recoguizing the Importance of ADR Monitoring of Drugs Available on the Market From PPA Event
China Pharmacy 2001;0(09):-
AIM: To recognize the importance of ADR monitoring of drugs available on the market from PPA Event. MET- HODS: With reviewing relevant literatures and scanning relevant network stations. we summarlzed the importance of moni- toring ADR of drugs available on the market and signiticance of creating a perfect evaluation mechanisms and systems of ADR monitoring for those drugs. and analysed several method of ADR monitoring and points for attention Finally. we gave several suggestions about enhancing ADR monitoring .RESULTS& CONCLUSION:ADR events can be effectively pre- vented by perfect evaluation mechanisms and ADR monitoring systems of drugs available on the market.

Objective:To analyze and discuss the factors of seizure induced by imipenem/cilastatin.Method: The reports of seizure induced by imipenem/cilastatin from CBMDisc(1971-2006)and CHKD(1994-2006)were re- viewed and analyzed with Excel.Result:28 cases of seizure induced by imipenem/cilastatin were collected, including 20 men and 8 women with the principal primary respiratory infection with an average age of 66.5.Seizure occurred as early as 10 min.after the medication, and occurred latest in the fourth day of the medication.22 cases showed grand mal seizure and 6,partial seizure with a duration ranging from 20s to 30min and with a frequency of eight seizures.18 cases discontin- ued the administration, and 8 cases took lower daily dosage,in which some were given antiepileptic drugs or other adjunc- tive therapy, and 2 cases were not treated at all.All the cases recovered and were discharged from hospital except one who died from his circulation failure and respiration failure. The cause-effect relations of the relevance evaluation of seizures e- yoked by imipenem/cilastatin were as follows:1 sure case,26 probable cases, and 1 possible case. Conclusion:Seizure can be induced by imipenem/cilastatin,Owhich should be rationally used.More attention should be paid in clinic so as to ensure a safe medication.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(08):-
Objective To design a new kind of wireless monitoring thermometer which can help the doctor to monitor the patient's temperature without touching them. Methods The system is based on a new kind of single chip MSP430F413,the thermistor was used in temperature detect part; the single chip's comparator A and timer A was used in A/D converter part to realize slop A/D; the NRF2401 chip was used in wireless transmission part; the system is connected with PC in the way of serial communications. Results The thermometer can work in -40 to 85 ℃ when the temperature is near animal heat, the thermometer is most accurate which precision is 0.1 ℃. Conclusion The system can measure the patient's temperature accurately,at the same time, the temperature data is sent to the receiving end in the way of wireless communication, and then data is sent to PC,which PC can record the temperature curve data and help the doctors to diagnose.

OBJECTIVE:To calculate pharmacokinetic parameters and compartment model's parameters by extravascular administration based on Excel function.METHODS:The parameters of pharmacokinetics and compartment model were calculated using residual method and Excel function.RESULTS:Excel can be used to directly demonstrate calculation process of parameters of pharmacokinetics and compartment model, with calculation results in line with those stated in textbooks.CONC-LUSION:The established method is simple,direct-viewing,reliable and easy to be extended, and it can be used to calculate pharmacokinetic parameters in clinical teaching or experiments.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a simple method for calculating the optimal pharmacokinetic-equation parameters in drugs by intravenous administration using Excel programming solution.METHODS:The pharmacokinetic parameters and compartment model parameters after intravenous injection drugs were computed by means of Excel programming solution, and the results were compared with those computed by DAS method or residual method.RESULTS:By means of Excel programming solution, the optimal pharmacokinetic parameters of one-and two-compartment models were obtained, which were completely in line with those computed by DAS program.CONCLUSION:Excel programming solution is applicable for the computation of the pharmacokinetic parameters of one-and two-compartment models following intravenous injection drugs.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the3pharmacotherapeutic schemes for biliary tract infections by pharmacoeconomic method.METHODS:Scheme A:cefazolin+metronidazole;Scheme B:ampicillin+gentamicin+metronidazole;Scheme C:lome?floxacin injection+metronidazole. These three schemes were retrospectively analysed with cost-effectiveness analy?sis.RESULTS:Scheme C had the lowest cost-effectiveness ratio with the highest total effective rate.CONCLUSION:Scheme C is the best one.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(1):28-29
ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of low frequency stimulation on motor function of stroke patients.Methods50 stroke patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group with 25 cases in each group. Patients of control group received neuromedical and Bobath technical treatment; cases of treatment group received low frequency stimulation besides the above two methods. All patients were assessed respectively with the Fugl-Meyer Assessment and Clinical Nerve Function Impaired Scale at the admission and on 20 days after treatment.ResultsThe motor functions of both groups were improved (P<0.05). But the recovery of treatment group was superior to the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionLow frequency stimulation can promote the stroke patients' motor function recovery.
