1.An Easy Method for Determinaion of Dioxins:the CALUX Assay
Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
This article introduces a new method: the chemical-activated luciferase gene expression (CALUX)assay for determine of dioxin, which is based on biological properly of a genetically modified cell line. The published thesis reports that the contents of dioxins in a same sample abtained from the CALUX assay and the internationally recoganized standard method for determination of dioxin: high resolution gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(HRGC-MS)showed perfectly positive correlation and well repeatibility. The CALUX assay presents less amount-required sample, shorter determination cycle and less expense compared with HRGC-MS assay. The CALUX assay can be used as a rapid screen assay for determination of dioxin in a large number of samples, and will be widely applied in the survey of dioxin pollution in environment.
2.Research progress of primary open angle glaucoma, 24h intraocular pressure and ocular perfusion pressure
International Eye Science 2016;16(6):1067-1070
Primary open angle glaucoma ( POAG) is one of the eye diseases which can lead to blindness. The early symptom of POAG is unconspicuous, however, it will result in irreversible optic never damage and visual field defect with the disease progress. As an index for diagnosing and evaluating the therapeutic effect of POAG, intraocular pressure ( IOP ) is simple and important. Clinically, although some treated patients have a target IOP at clinic time, the optic never damage still get worse. Researches indicate that higher nocturnal IOP and 24h IOP variation and lower nocturnal ocular perfusion pressure ( OPP) may be the reasons for this phenomenon. The following essay will give an overview of POAG,IOP and OPP according to the relevant literatures so that we can have a better understanding.

8.Clinical application of incentive spirometry in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease after thora-cotomy
Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2015;(1):45-47
Objective To discuss the feasibility on reducing the postoperative pulmonary complications ( PPC) incidence after thoracot-omy on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ( COPD) though application of incentive spirometry ( IS) . Methods 62 patients with COPD concurrent thoracotomy were divided into control group and observation group, the control group was given routine nebulization, expectoration and other physical treatment;the observation group were given IS besides the conventional treatment. The incidence of PPC,prognosis, and the changes on pulmonary function were compared between these two groups. Results The incidence of PPC and mortality of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group, and the inspiratory capacity( IC) from 3~5 days was significantly higher than that of con-trol group. Conclusion Application of IS can reduce the PPC incidence after thoracotomy on COPD patients, and promote the recovery of pulmonary function.
