Objective To study the correlation of p53,ki-67 and bcl-2 expression in breast cancer with the clinical response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy,and search for biological markers to guide therapy and predict prognosis.Methods The expression of the p53,ki67 and bcl-2 was examined by immunohistochemical(assay) in samples of breast cancer tissue which taken from 118 cases of operable breast cancer patients.The relationship between p53,ki-67 and bcl-2 and the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy was analyzed by(chi-square) test.Results The overall response rate to neoadjuvant chemotherapy was 68.6%.Patients with expression of ki-67 were more likely to respond to treatment.The effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy had a significantly negative correlation with p53 expression.There was no significant difference between the response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy and bcl-2 expression.Expression of p53 protein was correlated with low(expression) of bet-2.Expression of p53 and ki-67 protein was significantly related.Conclusions The(results) indicated that p53 and Ki-67 expressions are strong prognostic molecular markers that can be a guide for neoadjuvant chemotherapy and prediction of prognosis for patients with breast cancer.

Objective To evaluate the reliability and sensitivity of detection of thyroid carcinoma lymph node micrometastasis with MUC1.Methods In 488 cases of thyroid disease,1% methylene blue 1.0-2.0mL was injected into the thyroid nodule or surrounding thyroid tissue 24hours before operation.The dye-stained lymph nodes were detected at operation and RT-PCR method was used to determine MCUI in the clinically blue-stained lymph nodes.Results The detection rate of the blue-stained lymph nodes in thyroid carcinoma was 93%,and in benign lesions was 0%.In the research group,80 cases were found to have blue-stained lymph nodes,the detection rate was 95% and was higher than the pathologr diagnostic rate which was 86%(P

Objective To explore the improvement of core symptoms and detailed function in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) after treatment with methylphenidate extended-release tablets, and analyse the relationship between core symptoms reduction and detailed function improvement. Methods One hundred and fifty-six children with confirmed ADHD were rated with Swanson, Nolan, and Pelham, Version Ⅳ (SNAP-Ⅳ)Scale before treatment, then methylphenidate extended-release tablets were orally administered 18 mg once daily for 1 month, and children were rated again by means of SNAP-Ⅳ Scale and detailed function improvement questionnaire. The core symptoms reduction and detailed function improvement were observed, and their relationship was analysed. Results The primary mean scores of each factor in SNAP-Ⅳ Scale decreased significantly after treatment with methylphenidate extended-release tablets(P< 0.001). The reduction rate of factor IOWA/I/O was the most significant (>50%), followed by ADHD-H/Im and ADHD-In. The performance of school study, homework doing and social behavioral function was improved, and the detailed function was significantly improved. The reduction rate in ADHD-In factor was significantly correlated with improvement of school study and homework doing (P<0.01). The reduction rate in ADHD-H/Im factor was significantly correlated with improvement of social behavioral function(P<0.05). Conclusion Methylphenidate extended-release tablets play a role in both core symptoms reduction and detailed function improvement in children with ADHD, and core symptoms reduction is related to detailed function improvement to some degree. Methylphenidate extended-release tablets exert different effects on different detailed function.

Aim To study the effect of gamma-hydroxybutyric acid receptor(GHBR ) on neuronal apoptosis suffering from focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. Methods The male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 240～280 g were randomly divided into seven groups: sham operation group(sham), ischemia-reperfusion group(Isc/R) ,NCS-356 160、320、640 ?g?kg-1 group(N1、N2、N3),NCS-382 640+NCS-356 640 ?g?kg-1 group(NCS-382+N3),and nimodipine 600 ?g?kg-1 group(Nim).The middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO) model invented by Zea Longa with modifications was adopted. The experiment was divided into two parts after ischemia reperfusion for 24h:In the first part,we measured the cerebral expression of Bax, Bcl-2, Caspase-3 by immuneohistochemical method. In the second part,we measured neuronal apoptotic rate by flow cytometry in the ischemic cortex region. OBJECTIVETo evaluate in vitro effect of abnormal savda munziq (ASMq) on the proliferation and apoptosis of human hypertrophic scar fibroblasts (HSFs).

METHODSHSFs were divided into six groups to receive different treatments as group A (blank control group), group B-E (ASMq in different concentration), and group F(5-Fu). Each group contains six specimens. The HSFs were cultured in vitro. After culture for 48 hours, the CCK8 test and flow cytometry methods were used to detect the proliferation, cell cycle and apoptosis.

RESULTSThe proliferation of HSFs in the B, C, D and E groups was inhibited at G2/M period, while it was inhibited at G0/S period in group F (P < 0.05). The inhibition effect of ASMq (0.1-1.0 mg/ml) on the fibroblasts enhanced in a concentration-dependent manner. Flow cytometry analysis with annexin V-FITC and PI staining confirmed the apoptotic. When HSFs were exposed to ASMq at 1.0 mg/ml (group E) for 48 h, the percentage of apoptotic cells increased to (43.7 +/- 2.58)%, which was significantly higher than that of blank control group (2.2 +/- 0.59)%. The induced apoptosis effect was also increased in a concentration-dependent manner.

CONCLUSIONASMq has a inhibitory effect on the proliferation and an enhancement effect on the apoptosis of fibroblast. ASMq could be used as an effective drug for treatment of hypertrophic scar.

Objective To learn the prevalence and trends of Brucella disease in Ningxia, in order to provide scientific basis for effective control of the disease. Methods Data of Brucella cases reported through city network from 2004 to 2009 in Yinchuan city, Shizuishan city, Wuzhong city, Guyuan city and Zhongwei city of Ningxia were reviewed and retrospectively analyzed. The data included demographic characteristics, treatment conditions and medical history so on related information. Analytical indicators include reported incidence;with patients' gender, age, regional distribution, urban and rural distribution;become chronic and associated factors;distribution of the cases reporting unit and so on. Results From 2004 to 2009, Ningxia had reported 349 cases of Brucellosis, no deaths, the annual incidence rates reported were 0.017/10 million, 0.543/10 million, 0.151/101 (295/54);The proportion of 34- to 40-year-old age group was higher than other age groups(27.5%, 96/349);Occupational distribution of patients was mainly farmers and herdsmen(70.2% ,245/349), in regional distribution of the patients, the highest percentage was Wuzhong city(61.9%,216/349), followed by Yinchuan city(22.9%,80/349);The proportion of patients in rural areas(97.4% ,340/349) was higher than urban(2.6% ,9/349);the proportion of patients converted to chronic was 11.2% (39/349). With age, the chance of patients converted to chronic was in a decreasing trend(odds ratio was 0.966);cases reported by Centre for Disease Control and Prevention accounted for 74.8%(261/349), by hospital accounted for 25.2%(88/349). Conclusions The reported incidence of Brucellosis in Ningxia is in a rapid upward trend year by year, the patients is mainly young men, the rate of converted to chronic is higher and the ability of hospital in founding and reporting of the cases is weaker.Comprehensive measures should be taken to increase funding, strengthen monitoring, and continuously improve the level of awareness and diagnosis of medical personnel for further strengthen the prevention and control of Brucellosis.

Objective:To compare the differences in incidences of insomnia,anxiety(irritability)and manic ep- isode induced by fluoxetine and amitriptyline in treating depression.Method:CBM discs were selected for the data sources. The rates of insomnia,anxiety(irritability)and manic episode from published clinical control trials on depression treated by fluoxetine and amitriptyline were analyzed by applying fixed effect model(FEM)of evidence-based medicine(EBM). Result:Of 1205 cases in 15 studies,the rates of insomnia induced by fluoxetine or amitriptyline were 21.71% and 1.80% ,OR 9.39(95 %CI 5.37-16.44),P0.05.Conclusion:Fluoxetine induces in- somnia and anxiety(irritability)more easily than amitriptyline when treating depression.

Objective Pemetrexed and β-elemene can inhibit the growth of tumor cells .This study was to investigate the effect of pemetrexed combined with β-elemene on the proliferation and apoptosis of cervical cancer HeLa cells. Methods Cervical cancer HeLa cells were treated with pemetrexed at the concentrations of 38, 76, 152, 228, and 304μg/mL, and at 24 and 48 hours of treatment subjected to MTT for detection of their proliferation .The experiment included four groups , with the cells treated with β-elemene ( 125μg/mL) , pemetrexed ( 76 μg/mL ) , β-elemene ( 125 μg/mL ) +pemetrexed (76μg/mL), and nothing (blank control) for 24 hours, followed by determination of their proliferation and apoptosis by MTT and flow cytometry, respectively. Results Pemetrexed at 38, 76, 152 and 228μg/mL inhibited the proliferation of the HeLa cells in a concentration-dependent manner, with the inhibition rates of (7.24 ±3.78), (7.94 ±4.37), (11.10 ±2.86) and (15.88 ± 3.38)%at 24 hours, and (16.69 ±0.95), (22.54 ±1.53), (24.48 ±0.92) and (25.54 ±3.61)%at 48 hours, both with statis-tically significant differences between any two groups (P<0.05).Significant differences were also found in the proliferation rate of the same concentration of pemetrexed at the two time points (P<0.05).The combination of pemetrexed and β-elemene showed an inhibi-tion rate of (49.95 ±5.76)%at 24 hours, remarkably higher than (24.36 ±5.59)%in theβ-elemene group and (10.69 ±1.37)%in the pemetrexed group (P<0.01). Conclusion Pemetrexed combined with β-elemene can significantly inhibit the proliferation and synergistically accelerate the apoptosis of HeLa cells .

Some remarkable and representative prostheses are listed to show the devolvement of total wrist prosthesis and their individual special innovations to fix the problems. Objective To investigate iodine nutrition status in healthy adults in Xinjiang Urumqi city and their relationship to ethnicity, gender and age. Method A cross-sectional survey was performed in 2 100 residents of Xinjiang Urumqi 2 communities in May 2013, of which 1 835 healthy adults aged 18-84 years, mean age 46.3 ± 14.2 years were enrolled. Urine iodine with arsenic-cerium catalytic spectrophotometry and salt iodine and water iodine of the residents were measured. Result The water iodine content was 3.14 μg/L, salt iodine was 27.75 mg/kg, 1 835 urine samples were collected, the urinary iodine median(MUI) was133.4 μg/L, iodine deficiency accounted for 32.37% (595 cases), iodine sufficient 42.94% (788 cases), iodine super-sufficient 14.44%(265 cases), iodine excess 10.19%(187 cases). The urine iodine level in Han ethnic group was higher than those in Uygur adults, no significant difference was observed between men and women (P>0.05). Urinary iodine levels among different age groups had no statistical difference, but in the older groups the level was lower than that in young or middle age adults. The urinary iodine level decreased gradually with the age increasing. Conclusion There was a sufficient pattern of iodine nutrition levels in healthy adults in Xinjiang Urumqi; there was a correlation between the level of iodine nutrition and the ethnicity but not with gender;iodine nutrition level in older age group was lower than those in younger age groups. Monitoring the urinary iodine continually and decreasing iodine intake may be necessary for part of iodine excess population.
