1.Comparing evaluative methods on myocardial reperfusion after percutaneous coronary intervention

Myocardial reperfusion levels were evaluated using the different methods mentioned above at 15 min after PCI. The quantitative parameters of MCE involved contrast peak intensity (A), time to peak intensity (TP) and area under the curve (AUC), representing myocardial blood volume, reperfusion velocity and myocardial blood flow respectively. Results The CTFC was not different between the coronary artery stenosis groups and the normal group. Coronary artery blood flow was slower in group D than that in group A while myocardial blood volume and myocardial blood flow of MCE quantitative parameters markedly decreased in group C than those in group A, and three MCE parameters in D group were significant difference compared with group A. Conclusion Quantitative intracoronary MCE was more accurate in the evaluation of myocardial reperfusion than the other two methods.
2. Chemical constituents from fallen leaves of Populus alba × P. berolinensis

Objective: To study the chemical constituents from the fallen leaves of Populus alba × P. berolinensis and the inhibitory activity of salicin derivatives against SGC-7901 cell. Methods: The chemical constituents were isolated and purified on the basis of silica gel column chromatography and HPLC. The structural elucidation was performed according to the physicochemical properties and spectroscopic analysis. The inhibitory activity of salicin derivatives on human gastric carcinoma cells SGC-7901 in vitro proliferation was determined by MTT method. Results: Sixteen compounds were isolated and identified as tremuloidin (1), populin (2), chaenomeloidin (3), 4'-O-benzoylsalicin (4), salicin (5), tremulacin (6), poliothrysin benzoate (7), catechol (8), benzoic acid (9), tremulacinol (10), 6'-O-benzoylsalicin-7-salicylate (11), salicylol (12), salicortin (13), 7-O-acetyl-3'-O-benzoylsalicin (14), 7-O-acetyl-4'-O-benzoylsalicin (15), and 6'-O-acetyl-2'-O-benzoylsalicin (16), respectively. The inhibitory activity of compounds 7 and 11-13 on the in vitro proliferation of SGC-7901 cell was indicated by MTT and IC50 values were 71.0, 122.5, 212.7, and 257.8 μmol/L. Conclusion: Compounds 4, 7, 10, 11, 14-16 are isolated from this plant for the first time. Compound 7 shows the inhibitory activity against SGC-7901 in vitro proliferation.
3.Effect of Stellate Ganglion Block Plus Tianshu Capsule on Migraine

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of stellate ganglion block (SGB) combined with Tianshu capsule on migraine.Methods Ninty patients with migraine were randomly divided into the trial group (n=44, treated by SGB combined with Tianshu capsule) and control group (n=46, treated by SGB only). All patients of two groups were evaluated with numeric rating score (NRS) for pain before treatment and 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 1 month and 3 months after treatment, and the therapeutic effects of two groups were compared.Results The NRS scores of patients in the two groups at each time point decreased, but scores of patients in the trial group were significantly lower than that in the control group at 3 days, 1 month and 3 months after treatment ( P<0.05). The effective rate of the trial group was superior to that of the control group ( P<0.05).Conclusion SGB combined with Tianshu capsule is more effective on migraine and has less side effect.
4.Pulmonary membrane diffusing capacity and pulmonary capillary blood volume in patients with stable COPD

Objective To study the clinical significance of pulmonary membrane diffusing capacity(Dm) and pulmonary capillary blood volume(Vc) in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD). Methods Spirometry was performed in 38 patients with stable COPD and 35 healthy individuals in resting condition.The changes of pulmonary parameters were obtained and compared between groups. 6.An efficacy comparison of pirarubicin with other intravesicai chemotherapeutic agents in preventing blad der tumor recurrence:a Meta-analysis

Objective To compare the efficacy of pirarubicin with other intravesical chemothera peutic agents in preventing bladder tumor recurrence. Methods Databases such as Medline,EM Base,CBMDisc and PubMed,ScienceDirect,LWW,Springer,CJFD(Chinese Journal Fulhext Data base)and Chinese Periodicals Database of Science and Technology were systematicallv searehed for controlled studies involved with intravesical pirarubicin for the treattnent of bladder cancer.Eligible studies according to inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected,then recurrence data from included studies were retrieved for a meta-analysis. Results Fifteen studies met the inclusion criteria.Of these studies 10 compared efficacy of pirarubicin with mitomycin C,and the meta-analysis based on these 10 studies showed that pirarubicin was statistically superior to mitomycin C(OR=0.41,95%CI 0.27~0.61,P<0.01).Of 6 studies,pirarubicin was compared with thiotepa(OR=0.35,95%CI 0.11~1.13,P>0.05),adriamyein(OR=0.15,95% CI 0.03~O.76,P<0.05),epirubicin(OR=0.53,95% CI 0.23~1.23,P>0.05),hydroxycamptothecin(OR=0.25,95% CI 0.10~0.64,P<0.05)and blank control respectively,statistical analysis indicated pirarubicin was significantly better than adriamycin,hydroxycamptothecin and blank control,and not statistically different from thiotepa and epirubicin. Conclusion Pirarubicin is effective in preventing bladder tumor recurrence,with efficacy better than chemotherapeutic agents such as mitomycin C,hydroxyeamptothecin,and adriamycin,thus can be a novel optional intravescial chemotherapeutic agent for bladder cancer.
7.Electrochemical Sensor for Bisphenol A Based on Molecular Imprinting Technique and Electropolymerization Membrane

By the approach of self-assembly and electropolymerization, membrane for Bisphenol A (BPA) has been synthesized with bisphenol A as template molecule, o-aminothiophenol as functional monomer. Based on which, an electrochemical sensor was constructed and its response to BPA was evaluated by cyclic voltammetry. The peak current intensity was linear to Bisphenol A in the range of 6.0×10-7-5.5×10-5 mol/L with a detection limit of 2.0×10-7 mol/L and the RSD <5%(n=9). The response time of stable current was about 2 min. The proposed sensor exhibits good selectivity, reproducibility and stability. The AC impedance technology and chronoamperometry were employed to study the electrochemical characteristic of the membrane. The sensor was successfully applied to the determination of BPA in several samples.
10.Separation of polyphyllin from Rhizoma Paridis by foam fractionation technique

Objective To study the process of foam fractionation of polyphyllin in semi-batch mode. Methods Taking enrichment ratio, recovery rate of polyphyllin, and purity ratio as the performance criteria and using single examining method to examine the operational parameters, i.e. operation mode, air flow rate, initial feed concentration, solution pH value, initial feed height and temperature on separation performance. The optimal conditions of the process were obtained finally. Results The separation performance is good when gas flow rate is 400 mL/min, initial feed concentration (polyphyllins content) is 0.3 mg/mL, pH value is 7, feed height is 30 cm, and feed temperature is 40 ℃. The enrichment ratio is 25.7, recovery ratio is 42.1%, and the foam liquids purity of total polyphyllin is 41.4%, which is 4.5 times higher than that in feed purity. Conclusion Foam fractionation technique could be applied to separate polyphyllin.
