[Objective]To discuss the relation-ship between AAONFH(advanced alcoholic osteonecrosis of femoral head)and extended overdose drinking.[Method]Reviewed 165 cases of total hip arthroplasty,to analyzed the clinical data among 27 AAONFH cases,reviewed the literatures,discussed the pathogenesis of AAONFH and the relation-ship between blood biochemistry and blood cloting funtion and compared the experimental results among literatures.[Result]Theres various factors resulted in osteonecrosis of the femoral head associated with alcohol long-term over intake.Individuals consuming more than 750 ml of alcohol daily were at greater risk of double or half ONFH,Theres no change in biochemical test,but blood clotting funtion in this case would degrade,osteoarthritis of hip would synchronize.[Conclusion]Individuals consuming more than 750 ml of alcohol daily have the potentiality of ONFH;Its no specificity significance in biochemical test,the necrosis extent of the femoral head is relative to the capacity and times of alcohol intake.THR(total hip replacement)is the best treatment for AAONFH,but theres more staxis potentiality in this cases.

Objective To analyze the experience of 745 cases of lumbar disc herniation(LDH) and investigate the relevance between the clinical symptoms,signs and operative observation.Methods From 1982 to 2003,745 cases of LDH were treated operatively.In order to investigate the relationship between clinical presentations and operative results,a statistic analysis was conducted using the clinical symptoms,signs and operative observations.Results As the predominant manifestions,the pain in the low back and leg was seen in 96.4% of LDH,the pain aggravated by belly pressure in 93% of LDH,local tenderness and radicular pain around the lumbat spinous process in 70.8% of LDH,rectoleg elevation test(+) in 91.6% of LDH.operation observation:77.6% of LDH was classified as lateral type,10.9% as medial type and 11.5% as rupture or sequestration type.Weakness of extensor hallucis longus could seen in 65.6% of LDH of L_4,L_5,in 32.3% of LDH of L_5S_1.Conclusions Although the extensive usage of computed tomography(CT) and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) provides a prompt and accurate basis for diagnosis of LDH,the physical examination remains the most important routine way to make a diagnosis.It is suggested that during the diagnosis and treatment of LDH,besides the common features of the disease,some individual presentations should not be neglected in few rare atypical cases,so as to diagnose and treat correctly.

Objective To observe relationship between the phlegm and adhesion molecule and further explore the functions of the phlegm in the metastatic potential of the tumors. Methods Examin the expression difference of ICAM-1,E-cad,MMP-9 of gastric cancer by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay between the phlegm-stamp type and non-phlegm-stamp type,then reducing phlegm by chinese medicine treatment and comparing theirs expression variation.Results The expressions of ICAM-1,E-cad, MMP-9 were obviouslv different between the phlegm group and non-phlegm group[(403.6±99.7)μg/L,(9.08±1.69)mg/L,(465.0±96.64)μg/L &(319.9±81.4)μg/L,(7.56±1.15)mg/L,(228.1±43.79)μg/L].After using xiao-tan-san-jie recipes,the expressions of ICAM-1 and E-cad of the phlegm group were obviously lower than before(P<0.05);the expression of MMP-9 was also falling down,but the difference was not significative.Conclusion There is a correlation between the phlegm and adhesion molecule, which could take action in tumor metastams by affecting adhesion molecule expression.

A method for the determination of seven kinds of thiocarbamate herbicides, molinate, pebulate, vernolate, triallate, thibencarb, eradicane and butylate in black tea and green tea has been developed. After homogenization, 2.0 g tea sample was soaked with 6 mL water for 1 h. 2.5 g NaCl was then added, and the sample was extracted twice by 20 mL acetonitrile. After concentration, the extract was put through HLB column and eluted by 3 mL acetonitrile. The eluate was then concentrated and dissolved with 2.0 mL hexane-acetone (7∶ 3, V/V) mixture. The preparation was cleaned by Envi-Carb column and eluted with 5 mL hexane-acetone. After concentration, the residue was dissolved by acetonitrile-water (5∶ 5, V/V) solution. Detection was achieved by electrospray ionization(ESI) in positive mode using multiple reaction monitoring. D_3-carbaryl was used as the internal standard, the linear range for the herbicides was 0-200 μg/L and the limit of detection were from 0.093 to 1.77 μg/L, with the correlation coefficients(r) varying from 0.9954 to 0.9988. The recoveries of all thiocarbamate herbicides were from 77.3% to 91.5% at the spiked levels of 5-20 μg/kg. The RSD of each compound was less than 15%. Black tea and green tea samples were successfully analyzed by the proposed method with satisfactory results.

Objective To study the relationship between lymph node micrometastasis in early gastric cancer and clinicopathology of tumor,and explore an appropriate operative procedure.Methods A total of 1 004 lymph nodes from 50 patients with early gastric cancer(EGC)were sliced and restained with H.E and immunohistochemical technique,respectively.Immunohistochemical staining was performed by the streptavidin-biotin immunoperoxidase method with cytokeratin-specific monoclonal antibody CAM5.2.The relationship between lymph node micrometastasis and clinicopathological characteristics of primary tumors and prognosis of EGC was analysed.Results The incidence of nodal micro-involvement was significantly increased in diffuse type cancerous lesions(n=11,32.35%)as compared with intestinal type cancerous lesions(n=1,6.25%)(P

Objective To summarize the experiences in using Bio-Gide and Bio-Oss for guided bone regener- ation in dental implantation.Methods In 28 cases of bone deficiency,Bio-Gide membranes were applied to cover alveolar defects filled with the Bio-Oss bone powder.In postoperative periodic follow-.up,the bone regeneration effect was observed by successive clinical and X-ray examination.Results 38 implants were inserted in the 28 patients and Bio-Gide membranes were used in the sites of the 38 implants.Alveolar bone defects were filled with new bone in 27 patients,1 implant loosed because of inflammation.37 implants had ideal osseointegration at stageⅡsurgery and were prosthetic rcconstructed successfully.No implant loosed during the observed period of 15 months to 4 years. Conclusion Bio-Gide and Bio-Oss have ideal effect of guided bone regeneration in dental implantation.

Objective To analyze the present situation of iodine deficiency disorders (IDD) in Henan Province,and to promote implementation of sustainable control strategies.Methods In 2011,a stratified proportion to population probability sampling (PPS) method was used to survey 1200 children aged 8 to 10 in 30 counties of the province.One primary school was selected in each chosen county.Goiter,intelligence quotient (IQ),urinary iodine and salt iodine level were studied.Meanwhile,12 families per capita salt intake was investigated.In each school,30 5th-grade students and 30 pregnant and lactating women in the school townships and adjacent neighboring townships were selected to carry out questionnaire survey on health education with unified papers.Results ①The goiter rate of children aged 8 to 10 by B ultrasound was 4.5％ (54/1201) ; the IQ of 1080 children was 107.75 ± 16.81 ; median urinary iodine level of 358 children was 201.4 μg/L.②The median of salt iodine content was 28.6 mg/kg,the coverage rate of iodized salt was 98.8％ (1186/1200),and qualified rate of iodized salt was 93.0％ (1116/1200).③The residents average daily salt intake was 10.5 g.④Average score of the questionnaire survey of 1084 5th-grade students was 4.2 points.Average score of 961 housewives was 4.4 points.Conclusions Various technical indicators show that IDD is in a sustained elimination state in Henan Province.Strengthen health education,enhance public awareness of disease prevention is still the important work ahead.

Objective To analyze the examination results of external quality assessment(EQA) at all levels of iodine deficiency disorders(IDD) laboratories in Henan province and the network operation to further standardize and improve the laboratory,and to provide reliable laboratory quality assurance for surveillance and control of IDD.Methods The examination results of EQA at all levels of IDD laboratories in Henan province were statistically analyzed in accordance with the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) of IDD (1999-201 1).Results The survey results showed that the provincial level laboratory was all qualified in testing urinary iodine and salt iodine in the past 13 years.In prefectural level,the laboratory response rates were 100.0％,and through participation in EQA,laboratory capacity had been significantly increased and stabilized.From 1999 to 2001,the passing rate of check up of urinary iodine was 22.2％ (4/18),72.2％ (13/18),94.4％ (17/18),respectively,and the rate was stable at 100.0％(18/18) from 2002 to 2011 except 94.4％ (17/18) in 2003.Since 2000,the prefectural level laboratory began to take part in the salt iodine EQA,and the laboratory response rate was 100.0％ (18/18) from 2000 to 2011.Except 88.9％(16/18) in 2003,the passing rate of check up of urinary iodine was 100.0％(18/18)from 2000 to 2011.In 2003 and 2004,6 to 7 county-level laboratories participated in the EQA of urinary iodine in Zhengzhou city,respectively,and all qualified.The number of county-level laboratories that participated in the salt iodine quality control network increased from 29 in 1999 to 148 in 2011.Response rate was 94.4％(68/72),96.7％(58/60) and 92.3％(144/156)in 2003,2006 and 2007,respectively,and the rate remained stable at 100.0％ in the remaining 10 years.In 1999,the passing rate was 69.0％ (20/29),then increased significantly,except 86.7％ (26/30) in 2001 and 84.6％(132/156) in 2007,the rates were all above 90.0％ in other years,especially in 2000 and 2009,the passing rates were both 100.0％.Conclusions The accuracy of test results of external quality controls and the normal operation of the network at all levels of laboratories is closely related to the IDD laboratory conditions and detection techniques.

Objective To summarize the etiology,classification and clinical characteristics of congenital bile duct dilatation and our experience in its diagnosis and troatment.Methods The clinical data of 37 cases of congenital bile duct dilatation were retrospectively analyzed.Results The 37 cases included TypeⅠin 31 cases,Type Ⅱ in 1 case,Type Ⅳ in 4 cases,and Type Ⅴ in 1case.All of the patients underwent operative treatment.External drainage of was done in 2 cases,Roux-en-y cystojejunostomy in 3 cases,exeisison of cyst cyst and Roux-en-y hepaticojejunostomy in 31 cases and left hepatectomy in 1case with malignant change of cyst.Five cases had postoperative complications that recovered with non-operative treatment.Thirty-two cases were cured.There were no operative deaths.Conclusions Congenital bile duct dilatation should be treated as soon as possible.Excision of the cyst and Roux-en-y hepaticojejunostomy can reduce long-term postoperative complications and is the rational treatment for congenital bile duct dilatation.
