Objective To realize management of nosocomial consumables in supermarket style by developing bar code input and output modules.Methods Based on No.1 Military Medical Project and Consumables Management System,source codes were extracted and bar code input and output modules were added into original system.Results With the bar code modules,the actual work flow of this system was simplified to be three steps: consumables input by scanning bar codes;scan statistics;consumables output by scanning bar codes.Conclusion A lot of disadvantages in original workflow are removed such as overmuch procedures in workflow,frequent occurrence of errors,high labor repetition,low work efficiency,etc.work efficiency and accuracy are greatly improved and supermarket style management of nosocomial consumables is realized.

The objective of the present study was to establish a method based on principal component analysis (PCA) for the study of transdermal delivery of Chinese medicinal formulae, and to choose the best penetration enhancers for Qingfei Xiaocuo gel depend on this method. Using improved Franz type diffusion cell and excised rat skin in vitro as transdermal barrier, the receptive solution fingerprint was established by HPLC, harvesting the areas of the common peaks in the fingerprint, then the total factor scores of the concentrations at different times were calculated using PCA and were employed instead of the concentrations to compute the cumulative amounts (Q12) and enhancement ratio (ER), the latter of which were considered as the indexes for optimizing penetration enhancers. Compare to the control group, the ER of the other groups increased significantly and furthermore, 2.5% azone with 2.5% menthol manifested the best effect. PCA represent most information in the receptive solution, the method above could choose the best penetration enhancers, it could be a reference for the study of transdermal delivery of Chinese medicinal formulae.

Objective To assess sperm chromatin structure assay (SCSA) and sperm chromatin dispersion test (SCD) for DNA fragmentation evaluation in human infertility, and the correlation between these two methods. Methods We used SCSA and SCD assays to detect DNA fragmentation in sperm from 134 infertile men. The correlation of SCSA and SCD assays was analyzed. The sperm DNA fragmentation index (DFI) was divided into 3 groups (≤15%DFI, >15~≤30%DFI and>30%DFI), and the difference between SCSA and SCD assays was assessed. Results The SCSA assay was strongly correlated with the SCD assay for sperm DNA fragmentation (r=0.915, P<0.001). There was no significant difference between>15~ ≤30%DFI and>30%DFI groups. However, SCD showed higher levels of DNA fragmentation than that measured by SCSA for≤15%DFI group (13.50 4.82 vs 9.79 2.60, P<0.001). Conclusion There is a strong positive correlation between SCSA and SCD assays in detection of DNA fragmentation. SCD assay showed higher levels of DNA fragmentation than that measured by SCSA for≤15%DFI group.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of noninvasive positive-pressure ventilation (NPPV) treatment in acute respiratory distress syndrome caused by acute pancreatitis. Methods A retrospective study of 27 cases, with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) caused by acute paucreatitis,who were admitted to our department from Jan 2007 to May 2010 and treated with NPPV, was performed. The changes of heart rate, respiratory rate, PaO2, oxygenation index (OI) and PaCO2 before and after treatment were compared. Results The heart rate, respiratory rate of 25(92.6％ ) patients decreased from (118.4 ±13.4)/min, (32.1 ± 1.7)/min to ( 81.9 + 8.5 )/min, ( 19.9 ± 2.1 )/min; PaO2, OI and PaCO2 increased from (74.1 ±5.0)mmHg, (148.2 +10.0)mmHg, (28.7 ±1.6)mmHg to (110.4 ±20.8)mmHg, (204.5±71.1)mmHg, (38.4 +3.6)mmHg 48 h after NPPV, respectively, and they recovered and were transited to oxygen supply by Venturi mask. 2 (7.4％) patients deteriorated and were transited to invasive positive-pressure ventilation support. Conclusions NPPV could effectively improve oxygenation of patients with ARDS caused by acute pancreatitis. The procedure of NPPV is relatively easy to use and to learn with few complications, and worth of clinical application.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of laparoscopic cystogastrostomy for retrogastric pancreatic pseudocysts.Methods Five patients suffering from retrogastric pancreatic pseudocysts caused by severe acute biliary pancreatitis received conservative management for 2 ～ 6 months,and the sizes of pseudocysts were 8,10,12,14,15 cm.All the 5 patients received laparoscopic cystogastrostomy,and 4 ports methods was applied,through anterior gastric wall,the posterior gastric wall and pancreatic pseudocysts were incised by using harmonic scalpel,then cystogastrostomy was performed to drain the pseudocysts.Results Laparoscopic cystogastrostomy for retrogastric pancreatic pseudocysts was successful in all patients,theoperation time was 90,105,115,120,150 minutes.The blood loss was 100,150,150,200,300 ml.No intra-gastric bleeding occurred.After 1 month follow-up,all the pseudocysts disappeared,and there was no acute pancreatitis and local infection recurrence.Gastric leakage occurred 7 d after operation in one patient,and was healed after one month of conservative management.Conclusions Laparoscopic cystogastrostomy through gastric cavity for retrogastric pancreatic pseudocysts is simple and effective,mini-invasive,and it can be an alternative therapeutic method for pancreatic pseudocysts.

Objective: To understand the underreporting rate of death among residents in Zhejiang Province from 2016 to 2018, so as to provide a basis for improvement of death surveillance measures. Methods: Multi-stage random cluster sampling was used to select residents in 30 public health surveillance areas of Zhejiang Province and all the residents were investigated the general information and death conditions that occurred during the period 2016-2018 by door to door visit. The underreporting rate of death was calculated and descriptive methods were used to analyze the causes of underreporting deaths. Results: A total of 358 992 residents were investigated in 30 public health surveillance areas of Zhejiang Province. There were 63 underreporting deaths among 5 896 deaths, with an underreporting rate of 1.07%. The underreporting rate in men was 1.30%, which was higher than 0.75% in women ( P<0.05 ). The underreporting rate of residents aged 20 to <40 years was 6.74%, the highest among all the age groups ( P<0.05 ). The underreporting rate was 4.46% on the way to the hospital, the highest among all the places of death ( P<0.05 ). The underreporting rate in Wuxing District of Huzhou was 5.80%, the highest among all the surveillance areas. There were 25 cases of "late report or untimely review", accounting for 39.68%; 38 cases of "not report", accounting for 60.32%, of which 14 cases were caused by doctors forgetting to report, accounting for 22.22%. Conclusion The underreporting rate of death in Zhejiang Province from 2016 to 2018 is generally low. In response to underreporting deaths, multi-departmental collaboration should be promoted to effectively strengthen the reporting and management of routine death surveillance.

Objective To investigate the role of nucleosome in the pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Methods BALB/c mice were immunized with nucleosome, and then serum dsDNA and ANA autoantibodies were detected by ELISA. Kidney specimens were observed by immunofluorescence and histological examination. Results High titers of IgG dsDNA and ANA autoantibodies in sera of BALB/c mice were observed at the 14th day after immunization with nucleosome. Nephritis and immune complex deposition in renal glomeruli were observed at the 35th day. Conclusion Nucleosome could induce SLE-like disease in BALB/c mice, and may play a critical role in the pathogenesis of SLE.

Objective To investigate the effects of artesunate (AS) on septic lung injury in mice and to study the modulation of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) in lung in order to clarify the mechanism of AS action.Methods Sixty male Kunming mice were randomly (random number) divided into four groups: Sham group (n =15), CLP group (n =15), AS + CLP group (n =15) and AS + ZnPP + CLP group (n =15).Cecal ligation and puncture (CLP) method was employed to induce septic lung injury.AS (15 mg/ kg) was injected into the abdomen of mice 2 hours before the CLP procedures, and ZnPP Ⅸ, an inhibitor of HO-1, was intraperitoneally injected in dose of 40 μmol/kg 1 hour after the AS injection.The equivalent volume of normal saline was intraperitoneally injected instead in mice of Sham group and CLP group.The mice were sacrificed 24 hours after the CLP procedures.The TNF-α, IL-6 in serum were assayed by ELISA method.The lung injury score and wet/dry ratio were measured.The western blotting and immunohistochemistry methods were used to determine HO-1 protein expression in lung tissue.The protein level of nuclear factor-E2-related factor-2 (Nrf-2), an important transcriptional factor of HO-1 in lung tissue was also analyzed by western blotting.One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used for comparisons among the groups, and SNK-q (Student-Newman-Keuls) test was performed for further comparison, and difference was statistically significant at P ＜ 0.05.Results The TNF-α (pg/mL) (54.37 ± 15.59 vs.627.45 ± 117.03, P ＜ 0.05), IL-6 (pg/mL) (81.53 ± 26.89 vs.898.52 ± 222.78, P ＜ 0.05) in serum was increased, and the lung protein exudation, pulmonary edema (wet/dry weight ratio: 4.27 ± 0.22 vs.6.78 ±0.73, P ＜ 0.05), pulmonary pathology injury (lung injury score: 2.20 ± 0.2 vs.13.25 ± 2.67, P ＜ 0.05) were aggravated by CLP.The HO-1 and Nrf-2 were up-regulated in lung tissue in CLP group compared with the sham group (P ＜ 0.05).After the intervention of AS, the HO-1 and Nrf-2 were further increased (P＜0.05), theTNF-α (pg/mL) (627.45 ±117.03 vs.307.88 ±72.33, P＜0.05), IL-6 (pg/mL) (898.52 ± 222.78 vs.413.47 ± 115.14, P ＜ 0.05) in serum, lung protein exudation, pulmonary edema (wet/dry weight ratio: 6.78 ± 0.73 vs.5.05 ± 0.61, P ＜ 0.05), pulmonary pathology injury (lung injury score: 13.25 ± 2.67 vs.4.95 ± 1.46, P ＜ 0.05) were attenuated compared with the CLP group.However, the protective role of AS in the septic lung injury in mice was partly reversed by ZnPP, and no significant difference was detected between the AS + CLP + ZnPP and CLP group (lung injury score: 12.15 ± 2.95 vs.13.25 ± 2.67, P ＞ 0.05;wet/dry weight ratio: 6.78 ± 0.73 vs.6.29 ± 0.82, P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions AS plays protective roles in septic lung injury, and it is attributed to limiting lung inflammation via up-regulation of HO-1.

Objective To study the epidemiological characteristics of diabetes,and to provide effective prevention and intervention strategies for diabetes in Zhejiang Province.Methods Descriptive epidemiological method was used to analyze the surveillance data of diabetes from 2007 to 2012.Results 272 534 cases of new on-set diabetes were reported through the noncommunicable disease surveillance system in Zhejiang Province from 2007 to 2012,and the annual incidence was 277.08/100 000.According to different types of diabetes,the proportions of type 1,type 2,gestational,and other types diabetes were 0.69％,96.04％,2.23％,and 1.03％,respectively.The incidence was higher in urban and female population.The diabetes incidence was increased with 20.18％ per year and the growing speed of incidence in rural area and males were faster than those in urban area and females,respectively.The incidence in 70-year group was the highest and the growth speed in 20-year group was the fastest one.11.89％ of diabetes patients were diagnosed with complications simultaneously and the proportion of diabetic neuropathy,vasculopathy,and nephropathy was accounted for 82.81％.The incidence of diabetic complications was increased at first and then decreased from 2007 to 2012.Conclusion With the aging trends in Zhejiang province,the incidence will be increased rapidly,and the rural,male,and adolescence populations should be the focus objectives for the diabetes prevention and control in the future.Although the trend of diabetic complications incidence was tended to decline,the result should be confirmed by further researches.
