1.Effect and mechanism of tissue transglutaminase-mediated chemoresistance in cancer cells
Cancer Research and Clinic 2013;25(9):643-645
TG2 is a calcium-dependent enzyme that catalyzes the formation of covalent bonds between free amine groups in one protein and protein-bound glutamines of another, creating highly cross-linked protein complexes.TG2 is ubiquitous and most diverse member of the transglutaminase family of enzymes.TG2 are implicated in cell differentiation,receptor-mediated endocytosis, cell adhesion, and induction of apoptosis.Recently,a growing body of literature suggests that it could be closely related to the development of drug resistance. Its role in cancer biology is briefly reviewed in this paper.
2.The clinical efficacy of recombinant human thrombopoietin for the treatment of post-chemotherapy throm- bocytopenia of adult patients with acute myeloid leukemia
The Journal of Practical Medicine 2017;33(16):2711-2713
Objective To study the effect of recombinant human thrombopoietin(rh TPO)for the treatment of post-chemotherapy thrombocytopenia in adult patients with acute myeloid leukemia(AML). Methods A total of 60 newly diagnesed AML patients ,law-and Intermediate-Rist with post-chemotherapy thrombocytopenia were randomly divided into experimental group (30 cases,rh TPO treatment)and control group(30 cases,no rhTPO treatment). Comparisons were made on the blood platelet recovery degree, the days of the blood platelet counting less than 20 × 109/L,the recovery days of the blood platelet counting more than 50 × 109/L,and incidence of adverse reac-tions of experimental group. Results After treatment, blood platelet recovery level between the experimental group and the control group has no difference(P>0.05). The days of the blood platelet counting less than 20 × 109/L and the recovery days of the blood platelet counting more than 50 × 109/L of experimental group were less than the control group separately(P < 0.05). The experimental group had low incidence of adverse reactions(6.7%). Conclusion rhTPO can not significantly increase the level of platelet recovery of AML patients after chemotherapy ,but can obvi-ously shorten the time of platelet recovery without obvious adverse reactions. The specific time needs further studied.
3.Effects of Ilexonin A on acute hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction in rats
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(01):-
Acute hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction (HPV) plays an important role in physiological regulation. The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of Ilexonin A on hemodynamics and HPV, and their relation to prostaglandins (PG_(?)) and leukotrienes (LT_(?)).The results show that the high pulmonary vascular resistance induced by Ilexonin A in normoxic rats may be partially caused by the increased LTs and have no relation to PGs. Ilexonin A may potentiate HPV at least by two ways: replacing the production of PGs (especially PGI_2) in hypoxic Wistar rats, and increasing LTs production.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(6):755-759
With development of bio-technique, more and more proteins were applied as clinical approaches. However, the protein homogeneity, especially the N-glycosylation limited the further research and application of these protein drugs. The analysis method for N-glycans is believed to be critical in protein drugs development. To enhance the N-glycans isolation efficiency and accelerate the pretreatment, a new strategy was built on ultrafiltration-devices. New methods increased the isolation efficiency of N-glycans containing N-acetylglucosa mine with 10%-20%. The degrading of N-glycans containing sialic acids was also minimized with this method. 20%-100% more N-glycans with sialic acids were isolated. The pretreatment was finished within 30 min. Coupled with HPLC-HRMS, an effective and reliable strategy designed for protein drugs N-glycans analysis were developed.

Stressors can be classified as controllable and uncontrollable events.Self-choice behavior plays an important role in the "problem-solution" process of coping when individual faces controllable stressors. As to the uncontrollable stressors there are 2 different coping modes: transformation and compensation coping. This paper reviews the research achievements in the relationship between stress and self-choice behavior.
6.An Effective Strategy for the Development of Rapeseed Oil-Based Biodiesel Industry
Jin-Qing CHEN ; Guan-Ting WU ;
China Biotechnology 2006;0(06):-
Rapeseed oil is one of the major raw materials for biodiesel production. The bottleneck of rapeseed oil-based biodiesel production at present is high cost of raw materials, which generally accounts for about 75% of total production cost. Current status and principal problems concerned in the production of biodiesel from rapeseed oil in China and other countries were introduced, based on which it was proposed to grow high-erucic acid rape in existing winter fallow fields and jointly produce biodiesel, erucic acid and its derivative products, and other highly valuable by-products such as glycerin and sterols from high-erucic acid rapeseed oil. The feasibility of this development strategy was analyzed in terms of product and market demand potential, economic benefits of enterprises, techniques and conditions of production, and source of raw materials. It was believed that the implementation of the strategy in China was of great significance in realizing rise and sustainable development of rapeseed oil-based biodiesel production, improving quality of biodiesel, promoting the development of biochemical engineering and many other industries, as well as in building a socialist new countryside.

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2008;17(12):1093-1094
Objective To evaluate cognitive function of chronic alcoholism patients. Methods The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Revise in China(WAIS-RC) and WMS-RC,including intelligence quotient, logical Memory.visual memory and stroop test, were investigated and P300 component of auditory event-related potential (ERP,P300),especially the subcomponents P3a and P3b were examined in 100 chronic alcoholism patients, and 70 healthv people matched in age,sex and educational level as controls. Results Compared with controls, the score of Verbal intelligence quotient(VIQ),Performance intelligence quotient (PIQ),Full-scale intelligence quotient (FIQ),logical memory, visual memory (immediate and delayed),and stroop test were significant lower (P <0.05.P<O.01)in chronic alcoholism patients, but the latencies of P3a and P3b wave were significantly prolonged.the amplitude of P3a and P3b wave were significantly decreased in chronic alcoholism patients. Conclusion Chronic alcoholism patients have cognitive function impairment, and P300 is a more sensitive to discover the impairment of the cognitive function.
8.Comparison of Efficacy of Spiral Nasointestinal Tube and Nasogastric Tube in Patients with Severe Traumatic Brain Injury
Journal of China Medical University 2015;(6):549-551
Objective To compare the effects of nasogastric tube and spiral nasointestinal tube on patients with severe brain injury. Methods Pa?tients receiving enteral nutrition with spiral nasointestinal tube or nasogastric tube were collected and investigated to evaluate the two schemes of en?teral nutrition from aspects of coma score, nutrition improvement, and catheter complications and so on. Results Detection of levels of total protein and prealbumin were conducted for all patients at 7 and 15 days after intubation. Each index was higher in the spiral nasointestinal tube group than in the nasogastric tube group. The reflux and aspiration rate was lower in the spiral nasointestinal tube group than in the nasogastric tube group. The dif?ferences were significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Using spiral nasointestinal tube to give enteral nutrition in patients with severe brain injury can improve the nutritional status, reduce complications, which is more contributory to the recovery.
