Objective To explore the characteristics of emotion recognition in children aged 7-14 years. Methods Nine hundred and sixty-one students aged 7-14 years were enrolled to rate the emotion dimensions of valence, arousal and dominance with the scale of Native Chinese Affective Picture System for Children. The relationship among scores of each emotion dimension was analysed, and the differences in age and gender of each emotion dimension were determined. Results For positive pictures (score of valence >6), the score of valence was positively related to that of arousal and dominate (r=0.56, r=0.40, P<0.01). For neutral pictures (score of valence 4-6), the score of valence was negatively related to that of arousal (r=-0.70, P<0.01) and positively related to that of dominance (r=0.69, P<0.01). For negative pictures (score of valence<4), the score of arousal was negatively related to that of dominance (r=-0.95, P<0.01). There were significant differences in scores of emotion dimensions between genders (P<0.05). There were significant differences in scores of arousal and dominance among children with different ages (P<0.01). Age was weakly negatively related to score of arousal (r=-0.18, P<0.01), and was weakly positively related to that of dominance (r=0.10, P<0.01). Conclusion There are significant differences in age and gender for emotion recognition in children, and the ratings are various among pictures with different characteristics, which needs to be considered in further researches.

· AIM: To observe the effects of PTEN and the tumor suppressor gene in proliferative LECs of the rabbit.·METHODS:Forty-two white rabbits were randomly divided into test group (36 rabbits) and control group (6rabbits). The transparent lenses of treated rabbits were operated with extra capsular cortex extraction, and the controls were kept untouched. The rabbits were sacririced at 1d, 3d, 1wk, 2wK, 1mo and 2mo after surgery.Immunohistochemistry was applied to detect proliferative cellular nuclei antigen (PCNA) as well as hybridization in situ and reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reactions (RT-PCR) were applied to detect phosphatase as well as tensin homology deleted on chromosome 10(PTEN) mRNA in lens equartor.·RESULTS:PCNA expression increased significantly to a high level at 1wk, began to reduce 2wk later, and recovered to the normal level 1 or 2mo after the surgery.PTEN mRNA expressed positively in normal rabbit LECs.The relative PTEN mRNA contents reduced greatly at 1dafter operation and remained low level at 3d. It began to increase slightly at 1wk, kept rising at 2wk and regained the normal expression after 1 or 2mo. There was inverse correlation between the PTEN mRNA and PCNA expression.·CONCLUSION: PTEN mRNA expresses positively in normal rabbit LECs plasma. Objective:To explore the levels of serum adiponectin,insulin growth factor Ⅰ (IGF-Ⅰ) and prealbumin in preterm infants,and analyze their correlation with preterm EUGR infant.Methods:321 cases of preterm infants who were born in our hospital and transferred to neonatal department in 24 hours from January,2014 to January,2016 were enrolled in the present study.According to the weight at discharge,they were divided into the EUGR group and the non EUGR group,the growth and development as well as the levels of serum adiponectin,IGF-Ⅰ and PA in the two groups were compared.Results:The occurrence rate of EUGR was 55.76％ (179/321) in the 321 cases ofpreterm infants;the weight of EUGR group was significantly lower than that of the non EUGR group at 42 th days and three months after birth(p＜0.05).The SDS of both groups were all negative,and that of EUGR group was significantly lower than non EUGR group (p＜0.05).The levels of serum adiponectin,IGF-Ⅰ and PA of both groups were significantly lower than the control group at seventh days of birth,and the PA level of EUGR group was significantly lower than non EUGR group (p＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the serum adiponectin and PA levels between 7 days and 14 days in EUGR group (P ＞ 0.05),however,the serum adiponectin and PA levels in the non EUGR group was obviously increased and significantly higher than that of the EUGR group (p ＜ 0.05).The level of IGF-Ⅰ in both groups keep unchanged during two weeks (P＞0.05).Conclusion:The lower levels of serum adiponectin,IGF-Ⅰ and PA were closely related to the EUGR of preterm infants,which could be used as biochemical indexes to early diagnosis of EUGR.

Objective To investigate pathogenic factors,clinical characteristics,pathological changes in 6 patients with localized or disseminated intestinal neuronal dysplasia(IND).Methods The clinical retrospective study was performed in 6 cases with localized and disseminated IND.Results In 6 patients,constipation and partial intestinal obstruction were the major symptoms.Preoperatively,dia-gnoses were revaluated as intestinal stenosis in 2 cases,long sigmoid in 2 cases and long-segment aganglionosis and total gastrointestinal IND in the rest 2 cases,respectively.Exploratory laparotomy was performed on all these patients.Pathological study suggested that 4 of them were localized IND,on whom enterectomy and intestinal anastomosis were performed successfully.However,2 cases of disseminated IND died postoperatively.Conclusions Disseminated IND may be caused by congenital factors,while localized IND by the acquired factors which including intestinal obstruction,local ischemia or inflammation.The surgical interventions are effective for localized IND,and intestine transplantation might be prospective treatment for disseminated IND.

Objective To investigate the genetic variants in the protein C (PC) and endothelial protein C receptor (EPCR) genes associated with the risk and outcome of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) patients in Chinese Han race.Methods Five tagSNPs (single nucleotide polymorphism,SNP) in the PC and EPCR genes were genotyped in patients with ARDS (n =275) and non-ARDS (n =337) in order to find the association between them in this case-control study.The SNPs were genotyped by SNPstream Beckman platform.Then,the correlation between the associated SNPs and plasma levels of activated protein C (APC) in patients with ARDS was investigated.The APC levels were measured using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method.Results Association analysis rcvealed that two PC SNPs in perfect linkage disequilibrium,rs1799809 and rs1158867,were significantly associated with susceptibility to ARDS.T allele frequency of rs1799809 in ARDS patients was significantly higher than that in non-ARDS patients (OR =1.569,95％ CI:1.192-2.066).And the genotype frequencies of rs1799809 were also significantly different between these two groups (P =0.007).The association remained significant after adjustment for multiple comparisons.Haplotype consisting of three SNPs in the PC gene was also associated with susceptibility to ARDS.The frequency of haplotype CCC in the ARDS samples was significantly lower than that in the non-ARDS group (P ＜ 0.01).Moreover,ARDS patients canrying rs1799809 TT genotype showed lower serum levels of APC than patients with TC and CC genotypes (Padj =0.02).However,genotype and allele analyses of EPCR did not show any significant difference between ARDS and non-ARDS patients.Conclusions These findings indicated that common genetic variation in the PC gene was significantly associated with susceptibility to ARDS in Chinese Han race.The PC genetic variation influenced plasma concentration of APC in patients with ARDS.

Gas chromatography with mass spectrum detector ( GC-MSD) coupled with purge-and-trap system was set up to analyze the concentration of isoprene in natural waters. The best experimental conditions were established, including purge gas flow rate ( 50 mL/min ) , purge time ( 15 min ) , the optimum capillary column ( Rt-Alumina BOND/KCl) and the appropriate condition of temperature programming. When analyzing isoprene in natural waters, the precision was <4% (n=6), the detection limit was 0. 5 pmol/L and the recovery was 91%-102%. The preservative experiment showed that there was no obvious variation in sample concentrations of isoprene within 60 days. The concentrations of isoprene measured with the method ranged from 60 . 8 to 278 . 7 pmol/L in the Jiaozhou Bay and its adjacent river estuaries and from 44 . 7 to 77 . 2 pmol/L in Yellow River estuary, which was in good accord with those results reported in literatures in other coastal waters. In conclusion, the analytical method could meet the requirements of the analysis of concentration of isoprene in natural waters.
