1.The prevalence and significance of autoantibodies in patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis.
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(05):-
Objective To study the relationship between the prevalence and the clinics, histology of autoantibodies in patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. Methods This study was based on data related to 117 patients with NASH who were treated at the Departments of Youan Hospital between 2000 and 2005.The prevalence of autoantibodies in all patients were examined and the relationships were analyzed with sex, age, liver function, lipid index and liver biopsy. Results The prevalence of autoantibodies in 117 patients with NASH was 35%,29.1% of whom were ANA and/or SMA positive, higher than in the general population(6%~15%);ANA and/or SMA positive patients with NASH were older and mostly females as compared to ANA and/or SMA negative patients, but there were no significant differences in liver function, lipid index and liver biopsy between positive and negative patients. Conclusion ANA and/or SMA are common in NASH patients and often represent a nonspecific antibody response that is not associated with the severity of liver injury.
2.Research on evaluation system and impact factors for public interest nature in public hospitals
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2009;29(6):737-740
Objective To establish the evaluation system and explore the possible impact factors for public interest nature in public hospitals. Methods One hundred and twenty-five public hospitals in Zhejiang Province were served as sample hospitals, and related data of year 2004 to year 2006 were collected. The Delphi expert investigation method, variation coefficient method and TOPSIS method were employed to screen the impact factors for public interest nature and build up the evaluation system for public hospitals, and stepwise regression analysis was conducted for possible impact factors of public interest nature. Results The evaluation system mainly included five aspects of quantity, quality, efficiency, mean charge of medical service and social satisfaction to public hospitals. The two most important factors that influenced the public interest nature were the number of beds and the number of equipments valued above 10 000 RMB. Conclusion The hospital scale is the most important impact factor for the nature of public interest in public hospitals. Therefore, the scale of public hospitals should be properly designed so as to ensure the public interest nature in public hospitals.

5.Current status of diagnosis and management of rectal cancer in China
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2009;8(5):321-323
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignancies in the world, and rectal cancer accounts for a large percentage of this disease in Chinese patients. Surgical extirpation is the mainstay of therapy, Intraluminal ultrasound is highly accurate in detecting depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis, and is also helpful in preoperative staging of rectal cancer. Preoperative adjuvant therapy could down-stage tumors, improve the radical resection rates of advanced lower rectal cancer, increase the rate of sphincter-saving surgery, and decrease the local recurrence rate. Total mesorectal excision could signifi-candy decrease the local metastasis of rectal cancer, and rectal cancer resection with preservation of pelvic autonomic nerve is effective in preventing urinary or reproductive dysfunction. Recently, minimally invasive surgery has been introduced for the management of rectal cancer, and transanal endoscopic microsurgery is a new method with advantages in rectal cancer treatment.
6.Empirical analysis of economies of scale in public hospitals of Zhejiang Province
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(medical Science) 2010;30(1):91-93
Objective To analyse the economies of scale in public hospitals in Zhejiang Province. Methods One hundred and twenty-five public hospitals in Zhejiang Province with qualification no less than class two level two were selected as sample hospitals. Douglas production function was employed to analyse the relationship between investment and output in sample hospitals between 2004 to 2006, with two types of production models established by medical service and incomes in hospitals as dependent variables. Results From 2004 to 2006, the medical service and incomes of sample hospitals were in line with economies of scale. The production increase rate was higher than investment increase rate. The medical service, incomes, total assets and number of staff in class three hospitals were higher than those in class two hospitals (P =0.000). Conclusion Economies of scale is the ultimate incentive to continuous outstretch for hospitals. Hospitals should rationally control the scale so as to avoid problems in medical service caused by overstretch.
8.Research advances in inhibitors for choroid neovascularization
Recent Advances in Ophthalmology 2017;37(3):285-288
Choroid neovascularization (CNV) is pathological proliferation of choroid vascular, accompanying with bleeding and leakage,is one of the major factors caused blindness,so CNV inhibitors have become a research hotspot. At present, researches on inhibitors of vascular endothelial growth factors and their receptors, endogenous angiogenesis factors, redox and inflammatory response related factors, etc, have achieved certain progresses. In addition,as drugs with multiple targets for treatment, many Chinese herbs also show inhibition effect on CNV.This article reviews the research advances in inhibitors for CNV.
9.Proton and heavy ion radiotherapy: the context and challenges
Chinese Journal of Radiological Medicine and Protection 2016;36(8):616-620
Protons and heavy ion radiation therapy have proven highly effective against a wide range of cancers and in recent decades there have been rapid advances.Due to the physical characteristics of the Bragg-peak and superior biological properties, proton and heavy ion radiation is able to focus its energy on the tumor while minimizing exposure to surrounding normal tissues and organs, which is expected help enhance the tumor dose and reduce normal tissue damage. In recent years, many studies have explored the efficacy and safety of proton and heavy ion radiotherapy on various malignancies, such as head and neck cancer, lung cancer, esophageal cancer, and liver cancer. The results of these studies enable a better understanding of the characteristics and advantages of proton and heavy ion therapy.
10.Simultaneous Determination of Paeoniflorin, Tetrahydropalmatine and Osthole in Gujinwan Capsules by HPLC
China Pharmacist 2017;20(9):1694-1696
Objective:To develop an HPLC method for the content determination of paeoniflorin, tetrahydropalmatine and osthole in Gujinwan capsules. Methods:The determination was performed on an Eclipse XDB-C18 column (250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm) with the mobile phase consisting of 0. 1% phosphoric acid (adjusting pH to 6. 6 with triethylamine)-acetonitrile with gradient elution. The flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1 . The column temperature was 30 ℃. The detection wavelengths were set at 230 nm and 280 nm. Re-sults:The calibration curves were found to be linear within the range of 9. 56-33. 65 μg· ml-1 for paeoniflorin(r=0. 9998), 3. 65-12. 86 μg· ml-1for tetrahydropalmatine(r=0. 9999) and 5. 81-20. 45 μg· ml-1for osthole(r=1. 0000). The average recovery of paeoniflorin, tetrahydropalmatine and osthole was 98. 8%(RSD=1. 1%), 98. 4%(RSD=0. 8%) and 99. 1%(RSD=1. 4%)(n=6),respectively. Conclusion:The method is simple, accurate and reproducible, which can be used for the quality control of Gujinwan capsules.
