1.Combination of radiotherapy and chemotherapy in locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2009;36(11):856-858
The main methods to treat locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer are radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The combination of radiotherapy and chemotherapy includes sequential chemoradiotherapy and concurrent chemoradiotherapy. The effectiveness of concurrent chemoradiotherapy is superior to that of sequential chemoradiotherapy, but the toxicity of concurrent chemoradiotherapy increases as well. Continuing to explore new ways which can improve the effectiveness and reduce the toxicity is the current and future direction. [Key words] Carcinoma, non-small cell lung; Radiotherapy; Drug therapy

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2008;14(4):379-380
Objective To observe the effect of meridian-thumbing therapy on flexion deformity on knees of children with cerebral palsy(CP).Methods The therapy of thumbing the points from Chengfu to Chengshan of the meridian of Foot Taiyang Bladder was used for 40 CP children with flexion deformity on knees. Results After three months treatment, the positive flexion of knee joint in 40 children improved significantly than before(P<0.001).Conclusion The therapy of meridian-thumbing has obvious effect on flexion deformity on knees of CP children.
3.Clinical and evidence-based study of coagulopathy after traumatic brain injury
Tianjin Medical Journal 2017;45(8):799-803
Coagulopathy after traumatic brain injury is a coagulation dysfunction caused by brain tissue injury, which is characterized by over activations of coagulation, fibrinolysis and anticoagulation. It is the result of the interaction of multiple factors and multiple links with complicated pathophysiology. This study reivewed the clinical features and evidence-based evidences of coagulopathy after traumatic brain injury in order to summarize and discuss the latest progress in the diagnosis and treatment of coagulopathy after traumatic brain injury.
4.Hypoxia increases intracellular free calcium in endothelial cells of porcine pulmonary artery
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(06):-
Alteration of intracellular free calcium during hypoxia was studied in cul-tured porcine pulmonary arterial endothelial cells. Intracellular free calcium was measuredwith the fluorescent prob, Fura-2/AM. It was found that hypoxia induced by bubbling N_2 to cells suspension increased intracellular free calcium of endothelial cells by 81?21%(n=8, P
5.Research contents and performance evaluation of tissue engineered blood vessels
International Journal of Surgery 2011;38(3):186-189
Cardiovascular disease is a frequently-occurring disease of human society, each year many patients in need of vascular graft surgery. The emergency and application of tissue engineered blood vessels, in particular the application of nanomaterials, will hopefully solve the problem of vascular sources. Here this article reviews the research contents and performance evaluation of tissue engineered blood vessels.
6.Research advances on colon cancer stem cells
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(3):179-182
Colon cancer stem cells(Co-CSCs)are a small fraction of subgroup cells, which show the capabilities of self-renewal,proliferation and differentiation in colon cancer.Co-CSCs are tumorgenic, and they play an important role in the genesis development and metastasis of tumor. These studies of Co-CSCs may help developing effective targets and novel strategies for clinical tumor therapy.
7.Application of Mycoplasma pneumoniae Load Index in Diagnosis of Its Infection in Children
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(12):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate Mycoplasma pneumoniae load index(MPLI)usefulness in the diagnosis of Mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP) infection in children.METHODS 110 throat swabs were collected with paired sera from the department of pediatry in our hospital from March to July 2008.The former fluorescence quantitative(FQ)-PCR assay was used to analyze throat swabs, microparticle agglutination assay(MAG) and MP-IgM assay for the sera.MP-IgM positive once or twice was used as a gold standard for MP infection,on which sensitivity(SEN),specificity(SPE),positive predictive value(+PV),negative predictive value(-PV) and ROC were calculated.RESULTS According to the gold standard, the values of SEN,SPE,+PV,-PV were 73.1-100.0%for a single MP-IgM,26.9-94.0% for a single MAG,46.2-94.0% for double MAG,26.9-95.2% for FQ-PCR alone and 26.9-98.8% for MPLI,respectively.CONCLUSIONS MAG shows limit in its clinical usage for the detection of MP antibodies.MPLI can diagnose acute MP infection earlier than MP-IgM.
8.Progresses in on-body channel models for wireless body area networks
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;37(5):303-306,320
On-body communication channels are a physical basis for the establishment of an effective and reliable wireless link between on-body nodes in wireless body area networks (WBANs).Due to normally strict limitations in transmit power and power consumptions of on-body nodes as well as the human-centered characteristics of WBANs,on-body channels are prone to be affected by the electromagnetic properties of human tissues, human movements, application environments and transceiver antennas, which increase greatly the complexity of the research on channel models. The paper discusses the developments, mathematical expressions and application characteristics of five types of on-body channel models, such as the simple path loss model, the hybrid path loss model, the small-scale fading model, the scenario-based model and the ultra-wideband model, and reviews the current progress on the modeling on-body channels.
9.Electrically triggered blink reflex and brainstem auditory evoked potential in the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis
Chinese Journal of Neurology 2000;0(05):-
Objective To explore the value of blink reflex (BR) and brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAEP) in the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS). Methods Totally 20 normal persons and 32 MS patients were examined with BR and BAEP respectively. Results 32 MS patients were divided into two groups according to the abnormalities localized to the brainstem: the symptomatic group and the asymptomatic group. The abnormal rates of BR in two groups were 85.7% and 50.0% respectively. The abnormal rates of BAEP in the two groups were 71.4% and 44.4% respectively. The abnormal rates of BR in Ⅴand Ⅶ cranial nerves were both 21.9%. The abnormal rates of BR,BAEP,BR and BAEP in finding out lesions of brainstem were 65.6%,56.3% and 75.0% respectively. Conclusions Subclinical lesions in brainstem, Ⅴand Ⅶ cranial nerves were demonstrated by BR. The combined abnormal rate of BR and BAEP was higher than either test alone.
